can you please be more specific on the results of just the helper leaf? how much drop did you get? i'm old and want to load motocross bikes into the bed.
cant a guy get FREE Rear lowering just by removing the front leaf spring perches and either just mounting them 3 inches higher on the frame with new holes and bolts? or similarly remove the spring perches and swap them side to side and upside down if that makes them fit better and still mounted higher on the frame?
my truck has about 3 inch rake/higher in the back is why i am asking and it needs a couple inches lowering back there , since it will unlikely ever haul enough weight to max out GVWR
I liked the stock ride height. The stance was perfect with those tires.
Can you please measure from the ground to the body above the front and rear tire please? Love what you did.
Nice truck brother looks good
No chance I'm trying this myself but it was fun watching you work!!
Awesome👍 glad you enjoyed it!😁
Wish I could find bulls that nice. Mostly rusty junk around here. That's a high option f150. Factory sway bars and 9".

Awesome! Good luck👍
Nice edit on this one ! I hope this comment helps your algorithm.
Clean truck! Did removing the overload cause axle wrap?
Damn good video. Thank you.
you got it perfect!
Check out that fresh haircut
I just picked up a 81 bully, I wonder if there's a co.out their that offers a kit
DJM has 3/5 and 2/4, Belltech has 2/4. You can use newer beams with newer spindles.

You might be able too but would be a lot of fabrication and those brackets are riveted to the frame you would need to cut the rivets out, Lot of work👍
Do you recommend replacing the shocks while doing this drop?
We didn’t replace the shocks and haven’t had any issues
hell yeah
hey that duck on the hood is from that movie deathproof. but what is it actually from?
Not familiar with deathproof but it was in the movie convoy it was the rubber duck’s hood ornament on his truck👍
Can you tell me where this truck is located please sir
I have an 80 F100 that I'm wanting to lower.
How does it ride?
Rides just about the same just a little stiffer in the front but not really enough to notice
Are those 15x10 wheels on the back. What is the backspacing on the wheels
They are stock wheels off a newer year model 15x8, I have never measured the backspacing sorry.
How did you bend the coil spring to give it the D shape ?
Heat one small spot with a torch and bend it over👍
You made it look to easy 🤔
👍👍👍🤙🤙🤙
Lose the toolbox and rails.
I can't its my work truck and I keep a chain to pull EV 😂😂
