I love this channel for a variety of reasons. I especially appreciate that the videos get right to to the point. I hate 20 minute videos that only have 3 minutes of info.

Yes Sir, this is what I’ve been told. So I’ll continue to work on getting experience, taking classes and getting more “tools” in my actor’s toolbox. I don’t know when to know when I’m ready to look for/ get an agent. Cheers.

My parents never supported me for taking up acting,so I never had the chance to get actual acting classes, apart from youtube and I'm planning to come to LA after my degree in 3d animation,is it possible to get an agent without classes?

There are websites like backstage where you can get agents. I really recommend watching some videos about that!

Do you happen to have any tips for foreigners? For example, I am Dutch. I honestly hate the Dutch Film industry and the language. Do you think it would be possible for me, as a beginning actress, to eventually play abroad? I'm not reaching for the sky - such as Hollywood and whatnot, knowing that's the big deal. Of course, it would be my dream, but I'm not American. Not even close. However, I was said my pronunciation is pretty flawless. I hate that I was born here because my country is so small and the shows are so awful. I cringe whenever I watch television, and I'm so afraid it's going to hold me back from what I really want.
I am planning on making self-tapes but I fear this would be recommended in Dutch. I'd rather go with English, knowing it's so much better and prettier - in so many aspects.

Hoi ik ben ook Nederlands maar ik kom uit Frankrijk, ik schrijf wel in het Engels omdat anders ga ik heel veel fouten maken.
You should not try to reach for the US if you live in NL. Instead you should start with small roles in NL just do whatever you can get, whatever comes in whatever language you know. If you want to reach the foreign industry you have to get an agent that can get you auditions in other countries and to get an agent you need experience and gigs. Even if you don’t reach for Hollywood, small projects in the US won’t fly you out from the NL if they have someone that lives in the country already. Also you should not reject acting in Dutch because imagine you get in the American industry, your acting skills and experience in Dutch could be an advantage and something that makes you so unique and different.
I had the same ambition as you regarding France and the US but how do you want to get in the US industry without living there and not knowing anything from it? It is a huge mistake to reject the industry of the country you live in when it’s actually where you should start and it is also what could get you to go further and to consolidate experience
