Okay now THAT did more for me in 3 minutes than a year of acting school like what
Glad to hear it!
Parents think the internet is dirty or bad like:
I know it's kind of randomly asking but do anyone know a good site to watch newly released movies online?
Soap2day is a good one
Oh my gosh, i cried in 30 seconds following your instructions.
" Think about someon- "
my face: *turns into waterfall *
Awww 😭
I thought it was only me LMAO
"think-"
me: *crying*
I cried the moment he said BEST FRIEND cuz my bestir means a lot to me
I thought about my mom , ... now I can’t stop crying
i have never been able to cry on cue. this had me sobbing and laughing and shouting “OH MY GOD I DID IT” even though i was so skeptical going into it
Same
Me toooo
its so funny cuz my mouth was trembling and I almost got a tear and then he goes "you did it" and I got a bright smile
sameee
Same!
as someone who cries a lot but is never able to cry on the spot this worked like magic for me. started crying so hard in like what? 20 seconds?
I started crying almost immediately. I think it depends on the person, and how sensitive they are to emotions as well.
I also cried almost immediately because I have very sensitive emotions.
Same
Guys I need help, I won't shed a tear no matter how hard I try
@@zathmiregaming4143 me neither
I lack emotions... So I find it hard to cry 👁
no WAY that worked. NO FREAKING WAY. i never cry normally and i genuinely didn't think i could do it on cue, but it worked. that was INSANE
Nice job!
Right! I can’t do it now though. I tried acting out a scene and thinking about it at the same time and I can’t do it.
Didn't work for me
This video actually works
When he said you’ve got five minutes to say goodbye I was too sad to even say anything and was just tearing up in sadness. I never thought I could do that! But then I got self conscious and stopped feeling whatever I was feeling. And I feel really bad for picturing my little brother in that way, that would truly break me.
What also works for me is
1. Steady breathing out. Slowly make your breaths more long and shaky, almost as if your going to yawn. For me it usually helps bring tears to eyes but not completely cry.
2. If you have a certain charecter (from a TV show, book, ect) you can also do this with them and they're best friend if you don't have anyone too important to you.
3. hold your breath while yawning. Once Again, it helps bring tears to my eyes and sometimes cry
Hope these helped!
Works for you. Does it work for the ones watching?
That worked!
It's really important to sell the image as real, so being an imaginative person helps. But I don't think yawning will help a person who's supposed to be weeping, unless they're a dominant male character... Or their character is faking...
I had a scene tomorrow this helped a lot thank you
Thank you! Yes you do not have to think about something depressing, drink lot of water too,
Bruh wtf. This foo had me balling my eyes out when I just wanted to learn how to tear on command😂. Someone get this man his Oscar
My brain is always sabotaging me. It is telling me that everything’s gonna be okay. Too much of being optimistic over hard situations...hence, I couldn’t cry.
same.
@@MoniqueorUnique IKR?
Me too i think i block unpleasent thoughts subconsciously
😂
same
When he said "think about your loved ones, imagine them lying on the bed dying"... That's when it all clicked, and i just broke into character.. I didnt know i would cry this hard. 😭❤
It is an emotional exercise. We are glad you achieved your intended result.
I figured this out when i was about 10 years old...and it works verry well, takes me about 60sec to do it, Hard to explain but you kinda tence you inside muscles around then eye/nose area.
@@lillywastesyourtime24601 this really does work. Funny though is the act of doing this and getting a little moisture seems to also conjure up a genuine response too. For me anyway.
me too
🤣😂 sorry but lying in bed dying
I'm not very sensitive so it made me feel goosebumps but I still couldn't cry. Still worth a shot!
Sameeee I can't cryyy my eyes dried out itself
I just cried in just 5 seconds right after your example. I’ve been saving these emotions, thank you.
21 years old and you taught me how to cry more than my own college major did
Same.
woow i got the tears, this caught me so off guard and i get what you mean with that you shouldn't think of crying in the first place
Nice! When you try to cry it's like kinking a hose.
I got the tears too ❤️
Holy shit this actually made me cry on cue
...because I couldn't think of anyone to say goodbye to 💀
Love it! 🤘
OMG. I literally cried out of nowhere this actually worked. I've always tried to push myself to cry on cue but for some reason it didn't work. Now that I've come across this video it had actually helped me cry on cue. For the people that are having a hard time, you have to imagine it get into the feeling. Thank you for this video. Now I can come back for reference.
i cried when u first said “imagine a close person laying on the bed, dying”
We're glad this exercise worked for you.
Definitely worked. Wow I cried just from this exercise. Trying to prepare for an audition tomorrow with a crying scene. Will definitely use this method. 🙏🏾
Awesome! Let us know how it goes. You got this!
hello there, it has been about a month since you commented this and i am genuinely interested in how you did :)
How’d it go?
hello friend! how did you do? its been 2 months i am aware but im interested :)
yeah! i;m wondering how it went aswell
This technique is definitely the most helpful, it has me literally crying in seconds. However, I have heard many actors advise to use it as a last resort or caution against using it because it can be emotionally taxing and take a toll on one's mental health. But no other method has ever really worked for me like this one. Idk how to actually fake tears.
Hi Tiana, thanks for the comment. I think the thing to stay away from is reliving past trauma. This is not that. This is using the circumstance of the scene but using a person from your life, that is alive and well, and placing them into the imaginary circumstance. That way you can turn the emotion on and off, because at the end of the day it was imaginary.
@@Studio24incBut what do you do if the scene is not of a dying loved one ? What do you do ? Let’s say my character is crying because he beat up someone really bad.
@@thanostsarbos1197i mean it’s the same thing in a way like he said place yourself in the situation. let’s use your example of he’s crying because he beat someone up, imagine you beat up a loved one to the point where this situation he’s explained could work.
This really touched me. I'm a pretty sensitive person who tried to keep their emotions hidden so I don't get hurt by other people. I've watched hundreds of RUclips tutorials telling me how to cry... but... none of them just worked for me. I just imagined the person I love most, the person who had always supported me. I started crying immidtaley, and GOT LIKE TEN TEARDROPS. thank you so much!
I didn't cry at all. I was just like "ok"

@@tylertyree5185 Maybe it's not time to quit your day job just yet, but that doesn't mean you can't continue to pursue your dreams! Thanks for watching our video!
@@Studio24inc I’m a investor, I like it pretty well! I fully believe people should chase their dreams. It was a joke lol! But thank you the video helped I’m able to cry on command now!
that jsut be you bro
Not even at the 2 minute mark I started crying
Challenge your actor friends, see if they can beat 2 minutes!
@@Studio24inc good Idea I started crying like at 1 minute something
Dude same wtf
I have teats in my eyes 😭
@@saidaabdille8603 you have teats what are those?
Wow. I teared up before you even set up the scene- just imagining my mom being in a coma. Then when you told me to say something to her, I could only think to say, "I'm sorry." I am sobbing. Thank you, honestly. It was hard for me to figure out how to really CRY when I need to, not just tear up.
this was the most helpful video on crying i’ve ever watched. i’ve watched so many videos to try and get this skill but none of them helped except for this one! thanks!
hell i've always wanted to be crying on cue!!! thanks so much for making my dream come true!!
You're welcome, glad we could help!
It's one thing to strongly feel the emotion behind it, but it's another to produce actual tears. I don't remember the last time I've cried so I think it's something I need to re teach my body.
Despite that, this lesson truly was powerful and had gotten me to genuinely feel the pain of losing someone I care about.
Thank you!
This is an emotional exercise, and can definitely be difficult. Glad we could help, even if just a little!
Same issue I get sad but start to divert the emotions as to not cry it shard to actually stay in the moment. Maybe if you have dealt with to much sadness it is harder? I'm gna keep trying.
U have to really re teach your body to cry??? Really, it's an emotion. Do u have to re teach yourself to laugh or feel mad? Do u have to teach yourself to go to the bathroom as well. Please find another job besides acting. Thank you. I know we won't see you on a commercial soon anyway!! Have a wonderful day
Okay, please get a job that doesn't involve acting. LOL, as if u really had a choice in that!!
@@davidbooker11 really no need for that, disappointing to see such negativity and hostility.
I'm amazed. I usually get my eyes to water, but this gave me actual, genuine, tears.
This is exactly how I've cried on cue for the past 30 years! Great video!
what the hell!!!! I never thought i'd cry but the moment I pictured my father laying on a hospital bed... I couldn't stop myself!! very effective method
I cried at like 10 seconds but after sometime it felt awkward.
Broo😭
I’ve watched so many videos on how to make yourself cry but this helped me to do in under 10 seconds thank you 😊
Why did that actually make me cry? Like, I’ve been acting since I was two and I’m turning 13 in 17 days and I’ve never been able to cry on cue. This is by far one of the only useful videos on this app for me. Thank you! ❤
I cried so hard I couldn’t speak. This was a beautiful technique and some what felt like a meditation to submit to the character by being myself fully… human enough to let the emotion transfer over. Thank you 🙏🏽
We won't see you acting anytime soon!!!
@@davidbooker11 ?
Wow…I had always struggled with crying on command…Doing this and I was tearful within a minute or so. Thank you so much ☺️
That actually worked! I'm shocked at that because I haven't been able to cry properly in ages! Only a few drops! That was extremely close to getting me to cry properly and more tears than normal came out! Tysm mate!
This actually worked!!! I didn’t think I could cry on cue but I can. Yay! I had to try different people in my life but landed on a friend and that worked. Thanks so much for this!!
Omg the place you sent me affected me more than I've ever been affected and you really helped thank you so much
Sounds like a breakthrough! Glad I could help.
This is so effective!! Thanks for sharing. I teared up, and felt some deep emotions that I havent been able to reach on cue. I will keep practicing this!
Thank you for sharing, Rebekah! We are so glad you were able to execute your intentions with this exercise!
OMG I was so worried because I was going to audition for acting but I couldn’t fake cry and nothing was helping but this actually worked!!!! Thank you so much for helping me with my dream!!!
Oh my gosh, this actually worked!! Thank you SO much for this video! It was SO helpful! Considering I'm a person who gets emotional VERY easily!! Thank you!!
I opened my eyes and I started crying
I was like “wat”
The power of one’s own images/imagery is so powerful to evoke emotions. Great reminder and great acting tip! 🙏🏽
I started bawling my eyes out as soon as you told me to imagine the person I love the most. Still crying like a baby
Wow, not even 2-3 seconds before he said to stop, my nose already started running. This is magic! thanks for the tip!
This is really hard when there’s no one left in my life
Ohmmygod I am so sorry for you
same like genuinely not a person anymore but it did work for me, i just thought of nothing
"E-E-E EDGE ALERT!"
literallllllll tears omg omg thanks would love more videos
Glad it worked out for you! We upload new videos weekly.
There’s no way as soon as he said “say the persons name that is hard to say goodbye too” I said “grandm-…” and I started feeling like I was about to cry it worked! Thank you so much!
omg i cant believe this actually worked..!! I am in awe
Holy crap, it actually worked for me. Tears immediately started coming out just imagining having to put my baby cat down
this helped me so much, after the first thing you said, you didn't even say to get to the lines yet, I was in tears. Oh my goodness thank you!
this worked so much - at the end, right after a tear fell my jaw dropped .
Oh my god stop. This worked. I’ve been trying for month and this.. instant tears rolling down. Thank you!!
once he said the first thing i'm already crying
Imagine someone who you would never be able to say goodbye to
Thinks of my bestie
Remembers she's dead
Cries anyway
im so sorry for your loss if my friend died then i would cry like you
Im sorry for your loss! I wish you the best of luck
R.I.P💖
BRO HOWS HE SO GOOD!!! I had to pause the video cause I started sobbing💀
I've tried for years to be able to do this. And today, having not acted in YEARS, I was balling my eyes out snot and all about a minute and a half into the video.
Wow! I’ve been trying to learn how to cry on cue for years and this actually made me emotional. My eyes were like a waterfall. Like what?!
Once again i did this exercise and i was able to cry and feel the emotions all over my body easier, i cried in less than 23 seconds this time. Wow! ♥️🌟😳
woah in every video i watched except to this about crying in cue, this is just he video that made my tears flow literally and also naturally like wow
This actually suprised me, I didn’t actually believe this would work but it did
I- this helped.
I’ve always wanted to get into acting! It’ll help me get away from my insecurities, as you are playing a character. Not yourself, as you are playing a role, you can get emotionally attached to this character. That’s a good thing to do when acting. As it helps you connect to the person you are playing as.
Glad to hear this helped!
This is exactly how I feel when I act. Small story but I was playing a character in a high school production, and I absolutely ADORED being her. I got so attached to my character, but my director cut my last show before I could perform one final time. It felt like saying goodbye to a friend without getting the ability to *say* goodbye. I was so upset for weeks because I got so attached
Oh my gosh , i practise this again.. and i did cried. Faster this time! 💛 God gave you a gift and i am so happy you are helping people! Will check out if there are online classes with you
There is NO WAY this actually worked… amazing video , I’ll be sure to keep this in mind when acting emotional scenes!!
Tears came in 10 seconds, love you grandma
This worked so well thank you! I was very sad and surprised to think about my best friend/crush in the hospital, as it has happened to him before and I felt so bad about it, but in the end, you were right. Being in the moment helped, but I might've gotten a little more emotional than I thought I would've in that circumstance. Have a good rest of your day, reader. :)
Wow.. I never thought I could cry so easily from that.. thank you, I’ll make ya proud in the future
Can't wait to see what the future holds for you!
i thought about it and I got all teary after you said to stop I tried not to cry, but then thats when the tears came. wow in less than 3 minutes I learned how to cry on cue. thank you!
How to practice crying and you literally give me a scenario that has me in tears from the start
Oh my god. I’m an emotional person so even when I’m watching shows or movies I put myself in their situation and end up crying and In this video I cried faster than I ever tried THANK YOU
Yes, me too!
I watched several before this but this one got me. Thank you!
It worked, Cody. I literally had tears started to fall.
OMG, I was just looking for a great tip for my daughter's possible acting audition. I saw this and thought tried if it's effective! VOILA, I cried in a heartbeat!!! YOU ARE JUST INCREDIBLE, THANK YOU SO MUCH!
Wow this worked! Wow wow. I needed this today. I’ve always used empathy to connect to my character but somethimes in short storylines I can’t get there… this helped
I’ve been struggling for years to learn how to cry on cue and I just want to thank you for making it possible
Thank you for watching! Happy to hear it worked so well!
Jesus i came into this thinking it wasn't going to work but now ive got a tear its a start
That was something else. There have been several moments over the past few years that I've been confused as to why I didn't cry in response to them, so I always thought there was something wrong. Nah, this works. Cheers.
This video was SUPER SUPER helpful, thank you 😊 😭😭😭👍
Wow i didn't think that would work!! Proper cried, literally after you said "imagine you're saying goodbye to your loved one". Also i think i also just found out who means the most to me which surprised me.
This is gonna come in so handy for my next movie role! Thank you for this, actually very surprising how fast this worked.
Truly brilliant, this method has felt so vauge to me earlier, but i think you describe it in such a way that is is possible to truly experience the situation. I am very grateful. Crying on command has always been a huge worry of mine, but i think i can get farther with this technique!
I watch Korean dramas and they cry without messing up their makeup or even contorting their face. It's amazing so I wanted to check it out myself. Uncanny Counter is a great one to see this in action.
Great observation!
well, sometimes things just hurt and you cannot stop the crying, thanks btw
Omg!!! that’s incredible thank you so much for sharing this!
More actors need to see this
I just realized I actually do this quite often-
Quando ele falou sobre o amigo em coma, meus olhos já ficaram cheios de lágrimas!
Bro it actually worked! it's as easy as it seems.
i have tried so many ways to do this. I am FAR from a person who cries. but I have always enjoyed acting, but have never been abl e to play a depressed/upset person. but THIS finally worked!😮😊
Just be the character. Know what they are going through and embody it. It doesn't always have to be crying too, it could just be distance from the world and numbness to emotion. But to cry, feel the character. Feel them and be them in that position. Act like it's real. That's what I do, and it does well for me, this technique is great too! :)
This was so amazing and helpful, thank you, it worked instantly! ❤️❤️
So happy to hear that!
omg!! this helped me so much! I can't believe it thank you very much, I'm someone who NEVER cries and this was like a gift from God
My goodness I was all tears in seconds…..
Thanks mate for your synergistic tools! Cheers and great vibes to ya!
I could never cry, on cue or not, but as soon as I heard the words 'imagine the person it would be hardest to say goodbye to' I paused the video and started crying (mostly cuz 2 weeks ago would be the last time I would see him). thanks for allowing myself to cry.
I'm SO sorry!!
it got me not long after it started-
Thank you. Like this scene was always difficult in my acting career on how to cry but today this video really helped😊. Thank you once again and I'm looking forward for more videos from you😊
This got me sobbing, but smiling at the end after FINALLY did it
Ok this video is terrifying the power this man holds is far too great I was crying at 1:48
We are glad it worked for you, Carol! Thanks for watching!
I thought of my cat and started crying almost immediately. Now I have to go give my cat a hug
I actually cried watching this in like few seconds because I remembered how my grandma passed, seeing her in the hospital,I wish I was with her at her exact last moment, it's been about 3 years now but it still hurts from time to time, it was truly a painful experience for me and my family, my mum went through worse being the last person to be with my grandmother, MAMA may your soul continue to rest in perfect peace 🙏
I'm not really a crier, but I really felt the tears behind my eyes. They didn't come out, but they were definitely there.
