      I bought a harbor freight magnetic tray from the 4" one and at the bottom of the radius I drilled a 1/8 hole and thread through split ring key ring and added a snap leash end. Like what goes on a dog leash . And just clip it to my veto MB3 . If you don't want to make one you can buy a titan brand magnetic tray from O'Reilly's auto parts store . For $6

    Cool video, thanks for sharing. I’m a 3 year technician who just moved into a “selling tech” role and trying to rework my tool bag to minimize weight and bulk and maximize versatility. I purchased the tech-Mc pack today, in my market I end up on my belly for hours at a time in crawlspaces repairing or redesigning ductwork so I need something that can be zip sealed.

    Thank you for the video. It was a great introduction to the modern tools used in HVAC for our high school students. The Klein finger ratchet wrench was the crown jewel for me. The students went through and priced up all the tools from your links. ~$1200 with the meter, which was the only item that did not have a link.

    I been using the same bag now for 2 years and I love it, my bag is set up kinda similar to yours, couple different tools, one thing I’d reccommend is keeping a shearer tool in the bin and I’m assuming you don’t use a stubby screw driver because you have the little wrenches but I’ve always found a stubby a bit more useful, definitely a couple tools out of here I’m gonna get and adjust my bag a bit

    Excellent video and a very neat and tidy load out...A few things I would add "just in case" : magnetic pickup tool, an led pen light two AAA torch for getting light into nooks and crannies, and possibly a magnetic work light, perhaps something that runs off M12 batteries? Finally, I would also consider a Non Contact Voltage Detector and possibly a mains outlet socket tester....

    What is your reasoning carrying a full nut driver set with handles as opposed to a multi screw driver that accepts regular magnetic nutdriver tips to save space? I did that for years with all the handles but can carry so many more usefull tools if I just carry the nut driver set with a universal handle. Also allows me to easily adapt to a 90 degree driver, flex bit, or extentions to put on a impact gun.

    • @OnusBones
      @OnusBones 11 месяцев назад

      In some HVAC videos I've seen guys have to reach in really deep with a nut driver, I think for coils; that's where a long thin one is needed.

    • @peterevans8194
      @peterevans8194 4 месяца назад

      Not relevant to this video, but some of the individual nut drivers have a hollow shaft so can be really useful. Getting back to what's shown in the video, the little nut driver set coupled with the other shafts he already carries, might very well cover everything the Klein nut driver set does already...

Mine did I know my MB3 bag weight's 24 pounds veto suggest the max weight is 20 pounds . The clips would just let go and the bag drop. There are no such thing as DeWalt Crescent wrenches. There are DeWalt adjustable wrenches.

    Why don’t they make a bag with a place to put a tablet?? Almost all companies now use tablets and they suck to carry around!! Please veto come out with a tool bag that we have a safe place to put a tablet!!!!!!

      Veto makes a few bags with a tablet pouch on the back side with a Velcro flap covering it!

    I pretty much exclusively use, uh what is this this, oh yeah any tool which sponsors me. Yeah this one uh pretty much does everything, but heres another one that does everything as well. So yeah guys, basically every tool i have basically does everything and more, thats why i have so many different tools that do absolutely anything and everything. Basically any tool i have is really good at its specific task but also does everything else perfectly.
    Make sure to use my sponsor link guys and ur good to go if you know what i mean.

      Edit: I'm mocking the presentation, not the products. These tools are top of the line and if you know how to use them, and why, you can't go wrong with any of these. If you don't though, it's probably better to get good at having nothing first. If you rely on what you have, you will always lose to those who rely only on what they know. So just learn more and know more.

    You must not been in the trade long , I wouldn’t carry half that stuff doing commercial calls on a roof.. I go minimalist, unless I’m replacing a compressor.. most of calls are quick, wearing yourself out for nothing! Use a small tech bag for calls and have a bag for replacement or repair..

    Seems like you had the need to fill every spot in that overpriced bag, I wouldn't carry 4 wrenches that you never use, tubing cutters, 2 8 in 1/11 in 1 drivers, tin snips etc... on a service call...
