You had me at they handle a ALL CUSTOMER SERVICE issues. Thx a bunch!!!
😂 yes, I see that as a pro too!
Honey she had me at “You don’t have to pay for the product for it to be sent” that was my biggest concern because I don’t have money like that 😂
@@nicoleattaway499 😂yes! That's huge for people who are just starting out.
High five to that!!😂😂
This is perfect timing for me as Etsy suddlnly closed ALL 3 OF MY STORES the week of the 4thbof july. Years of hard work and dedication just gone! If you have an etsy shop, i advise to start another store of your own and dont put all your eggs in 1 basket. Also, while your etsy store is up and running, you can copy your items to anotner store. Once you no lomger have an etsy store, that is no longer an option. Thank you for the video
Good advice, thanks
Yes I had 2 shops, one was 8 months old and the other one was 5 weeks old and they shut both of mine down…
Now I’m going to go through Printify pop up…🤞🏻
I'm Using a Printify Pop-up Store, Love it . . . they say you can write SEO Title and Descriptions
Thank you so much! Great content... very helpful!
Thank you for this video. I have just got started with a pop up shop

absolutely incredible info! thank you so much
YES! JUST WHAT I NEEDED, TY!!!
wow, great video. thanks so much
Hello, thank you very much for the information. I’m in the process of opening a store and this information arrived at the right time. New follower.
Yay! Thanks for subscribing 🙂
THANKS A BUNCH, AMAZING VIDEO!!!
ill definitely try that, thanks!
Hi! I would like to ask if they have the automatic send order to production in pop up store instead of manually sending it to the production. Thanks.
thats amazing, ty for sharing
Thank you. I just subscribed. I don't know much about pop shop
This is extremely helpful because I'm just getting started. I think you meant to say at the beginning of the video that you wait till the end of the month to get paid from print defy although you said Etsy. I look forward to following you because this is such a great information. Thank you.
Thank you 😊 You have to wait to get paid from Etsy even though you have to pay Printify up front. So Printify charges your card before they send the product to your customer but you won't get paid from Etsy until whenever your payment comes through from them. For me, that's every Monday. Hopefully that makes more sense.
Excellent video. I think this is a great way to get started. Most people will have to do their own marketing, anyway. Etsy seems like a full time job in terms of returns, customer service, bookkeeping, ect. This is more streamlined and it's good to know it can always be tied to Etsy when I'm ready.
Yes, Etsy is getting so competitive that you have to do your own marketing. So you may as well send them to your own shop without all the extra fees.
Thank you for this informative video. Appreciate you!
You're welcome!
appreciate for sharing this with us, excellent video

amazing vid!!! ty
Thank you!
Are the shipping costs rolled into the product price or are the listed separately at check out?
I’m just starting a Printify pop up store now, i’m in Switzerland, now it seems a lot more cou pntries have been added.
I opened my Printify shop about 2 months ago and Kenya already had a Pop Up Shop. Still working on getting my shop functional.
Awesome! Good luck!
This looks like a great idea. My downfall is that I'm not great at generating traffic. I'm not a social media master - not even close. But, selling POD products on Etsy has become totally saturated.
I'm with you on the social media. I see the potential but it also feels like a lot of time. I do use Pinterest and it's very helpful for marketing your shop because it's also a search engine. So your products show up on there for years rather than a few hours like most social media.
Thanks for the video. I'm not clear on pricing. Can I change the price field to make a profit?
Yes, you can set the price you want.
Great video. Can you add a banner and logo to the pop up shop so it looks like an actual branded website?
they aren't offering that yet from what I've seen.
Do personalized options still work the same in the Printify Pop-Up store as with Etsy? I have a lot of personalized items and have my Etsy shop set to "manual" for submitting the orders. That way I can switch out the item with the customized one before it's submitted.
I'm not 100% sure. I don't do personalized orders but I believe you can change the time for the order to go through to 24 hours. So there's most likely an option to submit manually. You can go in and check it out. It doesn't cost anything to open a shop up.
This video helped greatly in my understanding thank you. I do have a question. Do you know the percentage printify will take from each profit when using pop up store? All I find says they recommend using 40% margin for myself. However, starting out I don't think I can price my things so high or ppl will never return. If I charge $60 for some items, I'm still only making $11 and idk if Printify takes from that $11.
It isn't a percentage. It's the cost that the print provider charges for the item which will be shown when you choose the product and in the pricing area.
@@passivelyeverafter nice. Thank you for clearing that up. This is one of the things I was left to assume. But I desperately needed a definite answer. Thanks again 🙏.
I do have a question.. can you upload other images of your products other than the ones that PRINTIFY creates?
Right now you can't. I contacted Printify and they've had a lot of people ask about this. Their development team is working on it. So it should be a feature we see soon.
The Printify Pop-up Store is a great option for me since I don't have a credit card to use to pay for orders! However, one of the main things I think is a con is that you cannot, at this time, have navigation where you can add categories! I think that without the ability to add categories, it makes your store look a bit chaotic and disorderly! A potential customer would literally have to go through your entire catalog to see what products you have! I think this may turn people off and they leave your store prematurely! Of course, if you're marketing/advertising one product, you just provide the link for the item; but if they want to see what else you have that they may want to buy, it's sorta annoying to have to go through each page! I personally that wouldn't do it. Lol
I agree. I think we'll see this feature in the future. I would reach out to them with this feedback. I think the feedback we provide in this beginning stage will determine the features they add.
@@passivelyeverafter I actually watched a Printify video a few days ago on their channel. I did comment about it. They plan on adding that feature and others like adding more ways to customize the look of your store. They're planning on some great things, but, of course, it will be rolled out little by little!
You said we have to bring traffic to our store so how, when, and where does printify pop up your products online. Or do we control this?
Basically your shop is there, hosted on Printify, but customers can't just go on Printify and browse like Etsy. You have to give people the link to your shop. I hope that makes sense.
I like the idea of it. Downside is the mockups for branding purposes. And the question that I have is, when we are driving our own traffic do we just put Printify, our store name as the link. Or do they give us a domain?
It's similar to how you would have a shop on Etsy if you're familiar with that. If you go to your account and then visit store, it will show your link in the address bar. The format is yourshop.printify.me
@@passivelyeverafter Great, thank you for the info!
@@passivelyeverafter I don't like that. I want it to look like my brand. I already purchased a domain. I don't see why I couldn't point it to the popup shop URL so i can give customers my branded url name and it will redirect to the printify shop. It's still not perfect because it says powered by printify at the bottom and they'll see the real URL at the top but I can try with at least that option.
@@GoodMomBeauty yes, you can do that with something like Pretty Link or hire someone to do it for you, but then if it were me, I would just set up my own store with my domain name rather than using Printify pop up. That's just my opinion though. I don't like sending traffic to a platform that isn't my own.
How does etsy pay you ? On the credit card or account transfer to your personal account ?
You set up your bank account with Etsy. So if it's a separate credit card from that account then you would have to make sure you pay your credit card off.
Thank you for providing this video ! * You do an excellent job of presenting everything in an ' easy to follow ' manner. In FAR TOO MANY cases, people put out instructional videos that are more annoying than helpful ! They whip around, on screen, clicking on all kinds of buttons at a speed that is hard to follow. I don't know if they are trying to impress their viewers with how fast they are at navigating on the screen, or WHAT their malfunction is, but they are basically ' miserable ' to follow !! Keep up the good work. P.S. : Maybe you should do a side business teaching people HOW to construct actual ' instructional videos '. LOL.
Thank you! I'm a very step by step person, so that's how I learn best and I guess I teach the same way.
I have a pop up shop, I wish they would drive traffic, lol. Guess I have to leave marketing. BUT, do you know if they are going to let us have sections, categories, etc? Right now everything is just in there in no kind of order. So my shirts are next to my fine art prints etc. We need a way to organize it for customers to find things better.
I'm not sure but I bet it will evolve as they learn what people want and make improvements.
Just made a shop I'm assuming we will have to seperate everything into different specific shops for specific things , example I'll have a shop for male clothing and seperate shop for canvas prints ... seems stupid but like she said above im sure it will evolve over time
@@Jaycookthechef This is a good way to do it, but then you have a lot of shops to manage which seems like a pain. You all should reach out to Printify. If they know what sellers want, I'm sure they'll start adding those things as soon as they can.
When someone buys from your pop up do you have to pay for the shirt being printed or do they take it from the customer
@@samanthahelena5348 haven't made a sell yet, but I think they take it from the customer since payment is made through them.
I’m launching today but freaking out because I’m hearing different things. When someone buys from our pop up shop do we have to pay for the item in order for it to be made? Or does printify take it out when the customer pays?
For the pop up shop, you don't pay up front. They'll pay you what you're owed once a month. Printify collects from the customer and then pays you your portion. It works differently if you sell on Etsy, Shopify, etc. If you have questions, reach out to Printify for clarification.
@passivelyeverafter do they allow you to see your income prior to paying you out?
Printify has a page to put either Paypal or your credit card, that being said they won't make the product until you have a money option available. Maybe I'm wrong, if so correct me. I'm using Wix.
That's true if you're selling on your own site or Etsy, but what I'm talking about in this video is a store that is hosted on Printify's site. For this, they don't require payment up front in the same way that they do for a store that is just connected to their service. Hopefully that makes sense
Hola cómo conecto la Paypal con printify pop up ? Ya me hice una tienda pero no entiendo mucho el tema de pagos
Go to the icon for your account in the top right corner on Printify. Then go down to Payments and then on the left hand side you'll see Payments again. There you should see where you can add a card or connect to Paypal.
I live in the US, so let's say I open a Pop-up shop and promote it on various social media. A non-US person sees my social media and likes the products I promote - can a non-US customer purchase from my pop-up store? If yes, are the products coming from Printify local fulfillments in this customer's county/region? In another word, will the international orders placed outside of the US be automatically routed to the Printify local fulfillment facility where the customers are located as long as Printify partners are available in that country/region? Or it's not "automatically", but the international customers have the option to choose the "shipped from" country when checking out, so they can choose the one near them?
That will depend on the print provider you choose for your product. It will tell you what countries they ship to when you select the company and product. You can also narrow that down through the filters on the left side when searching for products.
Thank you your video.Let me know Printify Pop up Store.
I have a question. Do I need an LLC for printify pop. up shop? My tax ID is my ssn?
I already tried without having llc because I live in Africa
So to be clear, with the pop up shop, we don’t have to pay for the product upfront?? Printify will deduct the production cost from the sale amount????
Yes, it's deducted from what you get paid at the end of the month.
Do you have to use all Thierry Mockups, are even the human ones forced on you right listings?
I am from Turkey , Can i open a pop up store ? Or its only for US ?
Right now it's only in the US but I think in the future they'll start opening it up for other countries.
it is automatically customer browse or you need to promote your shop ?
You have to promote your own shop.
How do you keep track of how much you make
Can you have more than 1 pop up shop? I would like to have 2 for different Instagram accounts and niches.
Yes. I have 2 different ones on my Printify account.
@@passivelyeverafter that’s great to know. Thanks!
So I got a sale from my Pop up store and it had a profit margin but I still haven't figured out where to get payment from and printify hasn't informed me in any way where I can get the profit margin from
Congrats on your sale! From my understanding they pay you once a month. But reach out to customer service. They're always very helpful.
@@passivelyeverafter thank you.
I currently switched to the pop-up store. The shipping is so high. Anyone currently using pop-up?Are you having problems with conversion?People leaving more items in the cart
Also how does anybody find the store
For this, you would have to promote through social media or however you choose to market your shop. It's not like Etsy where there's a built in audience.
I just made my printity pop up store but I don't know how to add tax information in it because they only have USA , Canada and other European countries
Contact Printify and ask. They're very helpful.
A big CON that I’m seeing so far is you’re unable to upload your own mock-ups.
I didn't realize that. That's definitely an issue! 😒 Maybe they'll allow that soon. I'm sure it will improve over time.
Creating Etsy
as far as I can see only for US residents
Yes, right now it is, but I expect that will change in the future.
This sucks for me I'm from Canada and can't setup a pop up store. Grr
You can now get paid every two weeks
The shipping is only available for US not for all. That's pity.
I'm sure that will change in time. I think this is just a testing period. Most companies do this with anything new. Then they make changes based on user feedback.
Yes, its for me because I am on a budget. I surely will be closing my Etsy account. They do charge too much money.
Sounds like it will be perfect then 😊
Etsy are greedy.
Love it too much information. How can I send you a dm or an email??
I'll be setting up my social media next week but for now you can email me at passivelyeverafter@gmail.com
