I'd highly recommend Utrecht it's a cuter version of Amsterdam and so picturesque especially in spring you can eat or have a drink at one of the cafes on the canals at water level with lush green trees all around, and Rotterdam, has been bombed during ww2 and rebuilt in a very modern style but it's a cool city and very different vibe. Go to veerhaven there take a "watertaxi" and go to hotel new york and have a coffee on the terrace.
i'm not sure if you watched 'til the end of the video, but we visited Utrecht! I went to Rotterdam about 6 /7 years ago with work when i worked in TV - such a great city!
No i didn't watch til the end, i did just now!! But maybe its worth another summer visit and getting lost in the greenery and doing some canoeing in the canals haha!! Otherwise Haarlem is quite nice, Delft too ! With the Intercity direct (fast line a bit more expensive) Rdam - Adam is only 40 min by train (otherwise 60+min).
Thanks for another lovely vlog! Wish it had been longer 🤣 I always love seeing when you’ve uploaded one I find them so calming and safe! Great outfits too. X
i loved the guernsey literary and potato peel society! i remember reading it towards the beginning of the pandemic and it was such a comforting and heartwarming book, at times bittersweet but always filled with heart. hope u enjoyed it if u ended up reading it on the train journey :))
Thanks for this vlog, it massively cheered me up this evening (I'm currently in that annoying pre-period stage myself, feeling low and anxious). I'd recommend Leiden for your next trip, we fell in love with it, even more so than with Utrecht. It was just stunning 😊
I definitely agree ! Leiden is a lovely city, maybe my favourite in the Netherlands. I always appreciated going picnicking in the botanical garden right by the side of the river ☺️
@@VenetiaLaManna_ me and my roommate (we always watch your videos together) actually live in Leiden! If you're ever in Leiden, we'd love to show you around :)
i'm SO shy about sharing anything hair related as i've always been u s e l e s s with hair, but a few folks have asked so i'm planning on filming something this week - thanks for your patience!
Loved these Vlogs Venetia! Amsterdam is magical. I really recommend Zaanse Schans for your next trip. A short train ride from Amsterdam and so many beautiful windmills!
Such a lovely vlog! Thanks a lot for all the book recommendations. I have never been to Men Impossible, but the food looks so delicious that I absolutely have to go there. I would highly recommend Leiden for your next trip to the Netherlands. Beautiful city! And I'm not just saying that because I live there. 😜
Thanks for a lovely vlog of your stay in Amsterdam and kudos to Max! There seems to have such nice places to eat and to see too! I remember Volendam(not sure about the spelling, sorry)from years ago, famous for windmills and scenery .
So funny to see you walk arround and go places I also go. Amsterdam through the eyes of Venetia. Actually really have wanted to visit Men Impossible; and now even more; it looks gorgeous! One of my fave spots was always Mana Mana (in the Neighborhood: de Pijp)... wonderful Israeli food with a modern twist + cool ambiance. By the way, the Pijp itself is a really cool neighborhood and also 'North' on the other side of the lake.
I would really LOVE a list of food places for Amsterdam and around Amsterdam. I feel like you could make a while video or podcast just on this alone haha
"shoutout to my cycle for controlling meeeee every month" 😂
each and every one 🫡
The book and film are so gorgeous!! Definitely recommend
Yayyy, glad you took my rec and visited Utrecht 😊
For NL recs: I live in The Hague - great for a long beach walk / dunes (west duin park). Piet Heinstraat has great second hand shops and cafes.
thank you!
Your skin is just glowing!
I love your vlogs so much! Such a joy when there's a new one!
thank you Eleonora! x
Guernsey is such a cosy book and movie 🥰 warms the soul. Enjoy! A lovely vlog, Venetia 💞

Loved this! You always make me want to do more exploring! Thank you ❤

Glad you had a lovely time in Amsterdam. The restaurants looked great as did Max's cookbook. Hope he's selling loads. ❤

lots in my first amsterdam vlog: ruclips.net/video/qBO4c-Jxh5A/видео.html 💛
9:44 I read Age Of Vice - Deepti Kapoor it was incredible!
oooh this sounds ace, thank you!
Were the peanut butter cups sold in Uncommon?? Seems like a place to visit!! I live close to Amsterdam so I'm really happy about this vlogs hehe
ps. Leiden is also super cute to visit! It's prettier and smaller than Amsterdam, but also has some gem food places (Paco Ciao & Bishop)
alas the PB cups weren't great 😢 - they're not from uncommon though, which is excellent and a must visit!
Haarlem is lovely and has a soft spot in my heart as I got engaged there! Definitely worth a visit. 🧡
how lovely 💕💕💕
Note to self:
Porridge + rhubarb + pistachios
🤍✨ lovely
thank you lovely ♥️
