Great video and THANK YOU for addressing the streaks on the back that the old Satisfye grip would leave. That happened to my old Switch an was nervous about the Gen3 doing it to the Oled. I actually have the Satisfye and NeoGrip on the way to compare.
Thanks so much! Yeah, they are definitely my top 2 grip options. Really can’t go wrong with either so I think it will come down to personal preference. Thanks for watching!
The one reason I’ve always preferred Skullnco grips over satisfye is because the “feet” on the bottom of the zengrip kill the aesthetic for me. I can’t get over it
Thanks for the excellent breakdown! I have one on the way and have been really curious as to how it’s been received. Glad to hear it’s made for a much more comfortable experience.
Thanks for all your videos. I feel like your videos are honest and trustworthy versus so much of the content creators who are obviously aligned / in league with certain brands. Their reviews are slanted based upon their affiliations.
Great review. Been following your stuff for a short while now and you've been doing quality work. As far as the ZenGrip OLED goes. I'm really hoping they do an ice variant like they did with the Pro since the white limits the JoyCon color combos that'd look good with it IMO.
Thanks so much! I really appreciate that. I love the look of the ice grip too! Great late 90s look and like you said pairs well with most joy-con colors.
I have the same exact joycons but I got the shells and did it my self I did it without taking out cables I love it ! It’s so much better than white joycons to me it will match my neogrip perfect gray any white. The only thing. I wish the joycon eXtremeRate gameboy shell came with are the other but in gray like those ones you have
I appreciate how complete and efficient this review is. No wasting time explaining the obvious, specific pros and cons, plus a reference to the Skull & co. You helped me make an informed decision. 👍
I talk about it being tight on the Switch OLED in this video. Since it's designed to fit both, Switch versions, they needed to make it tight enough to fit the narrower og Switch
It won't jack up the rails if you put it in properly; you have to press down from the tops of BOTH joycons at the same time to even seat the switch in the grip. I've used it for a year now and my joycons are still connecting to the rails like they are brand new.
I don’t think that those streaks are due to the switch body itself but rather silicone residue from the grip itself. These streaks do come off but not easily at all.
It does fit! Might make it just a little bit tighter because I think the Hori joy-con are ever so slightly wider. Should be fine though. Thanks for watching!
I live in the Netherlands, and if I wanna buy the oled one, it cost about double the price cause it has to come from the us. I can get a skull & co for around $20 on Amazon. What should I do? Is the satisfye grip worth it for around double the price or just get the skull & co?
I’m waiting for mine. I’m so annoyed because it’s been almost a month since I ordered mine. It said 2 day delivery and then once I ordered it said 4 days. Now it’s been almost a month and I still don’t have it. I returned the skull in co thinking I’d have this in hand right away. Don’t give them your money
I know there were some additional delays but I just saw them post an update on Twitter that all orders were in and would be shipping out this week I believe
@@johnymcmuffins7898 That’s a relief, yes I’m in the USA. Hopefully I see it soon. Still just says order received. I’m hopeful, I bought my wife the Skull and Co. NeoGrip, so it’ll be cool to see the differences between the two.
I have the skullnco for my OLED Switch and was interested in this. Thanks for the comparison. Does not seem it’s worth the purchase. I also don’t like the buck teeth design on the bottom. It looks odd and funny.
Yeah in my opinion you can’t really go wrong with either grip. There’s a few advantages/disadvantages to both so I really think it comes down to personal preference. Thanks for watching!
I love satisfye grip and products but I cancelled my order because no grip can make up for those terrible joycon thumbstick accuracy and precision. Competitive shooters in handheld mode are terrible with joycons so splitpad pro or binboks are the way to go if u play alot of handheld and you're into competitive gaming in handheld mode.

WAIT BRO, DID IT LEAVE ALOT OF PERMANENT STREAKS???
The gen 3 one also kinda does that. Barely noticeable though.not sure if the new ronin grip will do that.
The one reason I’ve always preferred Skullnco grips over satisfye is because the “feet” on the bottom of the zengrip kill the aesthetic for me. I can’t get over it
Haha yeah it does sort of turn your Switch into a vampire
Just got mine today. I have the version with the case included, and it's really good. Very comfortable, especially with that rubberized grip on rear.
Nice! yeah the rubberized grips are the major plus for me. Thanks for watching!
Ya, Mine finally arrived in US so now just waiting for shipping details. Thanks for including checking the new Oled grip works in older cases!

This makes me so happy to hear!
Still on my 2017 switch, but planning on upgrading to the OLED soon! Will be picking up one of the options when I do!
It's maybe not the Switch Pro we were hoping for, but that screen is such a nice improvement
I payed 50 for the zengrip pro (oled compatible) with the zen slim case
Pumping out those reviews! Also love that MK8 remix!
Haha good ear Jeff!
Good review. Will you be getting the zen grip ronin?
Where did you get those cool joycons?
Yo! They’re from a custom shop called GameTraderZero. Highly recommend their work. Thanks for watching!
Why do they have to make it so tight...it will jack up the joycon rails. Not sure why these video reviews don't address that, but Amazon reviews do.

Hello what is the game you are playing on 2:15
Shin Megami Tensei V!
Hi ! Can I ask what joycons you are using?
Hey! They’re custom game boy joy-con from GameTraderZero. I think I left a link in the description
Does anyone know if this new Satisfye grip fits the Hori D Pad joycon?
It does fit! Might make it just a little bit tighter because I think the Hori joy-con are ever so slightly wider. Should be fine though. Thanks for watching!
Mine is sitting at customs right now
Nice vid. I will stick with the neogrip since it’s dockable, lighter and more aesthetic
Thanks! Yeah, that's completely understandable. Love my NeoGrip too!
I luv ur joy cons they are so cool
Hey thanks so much! Those are from GameTraderZero 👍
@@NeiltendoPower OMG you replied thanks so much
I did think they had a OLED version till today. Still wish they had it on amazon but still not seeing it. I'll order once I get the chance.
Oled version is back on Amazon
You deserve more likes
Really appreciate that!

Hmmm that's a tough call. Honestly, if it's twice the price, you're probably fine going with Skull & Co.'s NeoGrip instead. Thanks for watching!
Thats a great options. Thumbs up emoji.

I got mine in 4 days
Does it stop joycons of moving while playing?
Yes, they don't move at all when in the zengrip
I ordered mine on December 31 supposedly its getting delivered today Really not happy about it.
Taking apart the screws to fit the OLED seems excessive they should have just gotten the OLED switch grip
totally, I think at that point people were just getting tired of waiting
I guess so, good point
Link to the covers u have on the joycons?
They’re Game Boy joy-con from GameTraderZero. Link is in the description!
I’m starting to feel like this is a scam. I’ve been waiting 2 weeks for my grip and still hasn’t received my order
I know there were some additional delays but I just saw them post an update on Twitter that all orders were in and would be shipping out this week I believe
hahaha 2 weeks - most of us waited 3+ months
How long did it take to receive your zengrip? I ordered two weeks ago and have heard horror stories of shipping taking forever.
Should be another 4-7 days as they arrived from hong kong to the usa today unless your not usa its 11-14 more days

I can understand that. The analog sticks are my favorite thing about the split pad pro. Thanks for watching!
