You are not the only one that had trouble putting these things on the Switch. They seem to be a little too tight. And to answer your question about how tight they feel on the other consoles, I have the PS4 ones for my Pro controller and those just snap on without any fuss. I think the issue with the joy cons is that rubber material on them, and I think they should have made them a smidge less tight.
Appreciate the info! That’s a shame because once you can get them in the joy-con, they feel really nice. Definitely a bit too tight though.
I had the same problem with you and other people in terms of fitting the pads into the sticks. 3 of the feet or tabs or whatever you want to call them fit fine onto the stick, but the 4th will dig into the rubber. I ended up just doing what you did in the video where you were kinda squeezing the rubber into the pad and now it's snugly fit.
They really do feel great too. Not as easy to install like they show in their installation guide but with a bit of good ol' fashion squeezing you can fit them all on. Great review btw!
Thanks so much! Yeah, it's unfortunate how tight the Switch ones are. I've heard that the PS and Xbox versions aren't nearly as difficult to put on
Thanks for the review. I currently have Kontrol Freaks on my joycons which I enjoy. Using joycons without them feel weird now. You also do have a point that they should sell the thumb sticks separately. $14.99 for a pair like the Kontrol freaks is nice since I don’t feel like I bought extra thumb sticks that I won’t ever use.
Thanks for watching! Yeah, I've really only stuck with 2 out of the 5 caps
Which control freaks are you using for joycons ive only seen on amazon but for the switch pro controller cant seem to find control freaks for joycons but this video that showed them wanted to know if there was more options other than these from satisfye

I was fortunate enough to have gotten these for free from the company. I also really enjoy their products. Very good quality in my opinion. I know there are different grips out there and cases etc. However I wanted something different. 🙏🏽 came across this great company.
I love the skull and co thumb grips for my Nintendo Switch Lite and planning to buy joycons for my original Nintendo Switch 😀
Nice! Yeah the Skull & Co. ones are really simple but they definitely improve the feeling of the sticks for me
The design like kontrolfreeks with those plastic claws can damage the rubber on your controller. I would stick with skullnco's rubbing thumbgrips. The shipping from the Satisfye website is almost 50% of the price of the product.
So these are essentially the satisfye version of Kontrol Freek thumb grips. They look nice I might have to get these.
Yep, pretty much. They feel great, just be a little careful if you’re using them in your joy-con.
Nice to had stubble across this video was wondering if you had plans on getting any for the switch pro controller
No immediate plans really. I’m pretty happy with the sticks on the pro controller and was more interested in upgrading the joy-con. Thanks for watching!
I'ma wait till it's on Amazon to buy it, don't feel like ordering it on their website and setting up more accounts.
I believe they’re on Amazon already
@@NeiltendoPower Are they? If they are, I haven't found them yet.
Satisfye makes other pads for the switch lite , i rather use those.
40$ for thumb grips?!?! 😳😳😳
I really want some of these for playing first person shooters in combination with gyro aiming, but no way am I risking my white joycons. Kind of disappointing that they're apparently so tight.
Anyone tried these on racing games on the joycons? My cheap silicon caps tend to always need to push them back in whenever I start or finish a gaming session. Was hoping if spending extra money on these more expensive ones will solve my problems. Cuz they’re almost the price of just getting a decent controller but I do enjoy all the joycon features compared to 3rd party switch controllers.
Does it beat KontrolFreek (I just ordered the best surface hybrid, COD Vanguard, genuine one but they are too expensive, though it's for long term and it saved time by helping you finish AAA games faster)?
God bless.
Nice presentation 😊
Thanks so much!
Mine butchered the soft plastic on my joycons when taking them off.
Are you still using these? Was wondering if they damage the actual sticks underneath….some ppl said the pads kinda dig into the joysticks. But I thought that could be because they didn’t have them on right or struggled with installation
Where are the extended ones
How did you even get this things onto the thumbsticks in the first place. Lol.
Haha verrry carefully. I start with 2 prongs on one side and then slowly press the cap up into the 2 prongs on the other side
Can this be put on switch oled?
Because on the site in mentions , “switch & switch lite”
No switch oled
Yeah there’s nothing different about the joy-con or the analog sticks on the OLED, so these will fit exactly like they do on the regular Switch or Switch Lite
@@NeiltendoPower Noted. Thanks man🙏🏽
I assume the material on them shouldn't wear out for a long time right?
Yeah I don't think so. Seems like very quality rubber. Thanks for watching!
Its realy easy to get off. I have a pair of controlfreak. The same design of these little feet to grab the pad.
Are these the only ones out there for joysticks?
is there a cheaper alternative?
If you were to buy Joy Con thumbstick covers from scratch, which would you buy? The Skull & Co or the Ryze Pads?
Wow they are high if they think people would pay that price for some rubber pads
