BIG Fish Hiding In Florida Mangroves

My first experience fishing Florida mangroves. Several big fish caught, as well as one of the craziest fish fights/landings I have ever experienced. I have absolutely no idea how I got so lucky!

Nice ! 1st thing I learned kayak fishing in Fla was to have my anchor tied on and ready to toss as soon as I get hooked up to a nice fish. That and QUALITY flouro leader. Lost too many trophy reds and snook in the groves. Hurts sooo bad.

Yup I was explaining that to my friends down there on this trip. Think I was fishing 40# fluoro for the snook
