Me cutting line to. Especially after seeing a guy lose a pinky to a small shark. Maybe really long plyers but never putting my hand near shark that size one bite and u lose a hand or ur life. I can hear the sound of guys pinky joint popping as it was ripped off to this day.
Logistically just not a good choice for this, even with an LP which is plenty strong enough to do it. Wouldn't be able to move it around the boat quickly during the fight.
