Surely I can't be the only one in the UK who adores the "early polygonal-3D mixed with 2D sprites" aesthetic? I wonder if an Intel 286 could handle this.
How did I play this as a kid? I used to be able to beat this so bad!! I was in wire frame mode when I did it after I got all the chaos rings. You thought THIS was bad? TRY THAT!! Remember happy thoughts. Great memories though...
I'd rather buy an older game cheap, or have it on an easily-renewed downloadable source with virtual manual. However, yes, games like FF Tactics or Kingdom Hearts, I'd prefer to have a hard copy.
Legitimately one of the best uses of polygonal 3D on the 32X.

I remember when I owned this! Slow with a terrible draw distance, and damn near impossible to time and judge jumps!
Just like I remember.
This looks like sonic heroes special stages...intresting...are FULL 3D!!!!!! Wow!!!!!

I understand, but this game has never been re-released, and I am not able to play it because my computer does not support ANY 32x emulators.
It would be nice if this was re-released on the current generation consoles.
Great game and music but the special stage can be a pain sometimes.
Is this the original Run 3 from coolmathgames?
Sonic Lost Worlds Desert Ruins Zone 2
Pretty close to this

And i thought the STH2 special stages were BS
That background is so creepy.
+Natok the Dragon [PresStarToPlay] Actually, its really trippy.
But the way it moves is creepy. It looks like some kind of jelly flesh thing.
I think people would be too busy admiring the real-time polygons to notice anything wrong with the background.
IKR
if The Gens emulator could do it then Sega can
