  • This might be the second to last week of me working on this table 😱
A lot of questions have all been centered around the future recently. After pivoting away from custom furniture as my main source of income, what will I do next? How will I get there?

Table is magnific awesome work. Clara even the best laid out plans don't come to fruition but you have to put in the work to find out if it's even going to work or not.Thank you for sharing.

I know it might not be something you wish to cover, but as a young artist, I would be really interested in if you would cover how you priced this project and what your method of tracking hours is. @@ClarasWoodshop

What a spectacular video. Telling a story in the voice over instead of just narrating techniques is a great way to present a video like this. I am really looking forward to the content you put out in the future.

Thanks for letting me know, Tino! I’ve been playing around with this style and ultimately, it helps me concentrate more on the work and less on what I’m gonna say :-). I’ll still do both but will be mixing it up!

The table is beautifully done. When the finish is put on, wow will be all I can say. The story you are bringing to us is ver personal to you and your partner. You will achieve these goals, this I am confident about.

Thank you so much, Steve! I’m happy that you can appreciate it! Yes, it is very personal to us - one thing we’ve agreed to remain ever since we started social media and RUclips is authentic and true to ourselves as we are :-) Wherever that lands us, that’s where we’ll go!

Nice job on the design and build of the table. I love working with walnut. This video reminded me of when I was in a duplex and my day job was boring so I made a spare bedroom into a shop. I had an Oneida dust collector on the wall and 6 inch ducting running around. A table saw, router table, work bench, planer, 14 inch bandsaw and other stuff. If my landlord had ever seen that, he'd have a heart attack. It was great though, super convenient. I had looked into renting a space but it was in a sketchy part of New Orleans. Now, 22 years later, I have a 2,000 sq.ft. shop filled with woodworking machinery and just retired from the day job, so hope to do like you and just build stuff and sell it. Not sure if YT is for me. I sub'd and will be binge-watching your videos. You got me wondering why I don't keep a journal..... Best of luck to you!

That’s such a funny story! And also surprising how you went full out on the set up in a spare room. Congratulations on your shop upgrade and retirement! I wish you the best on your journey into creation and thank you for enjoying what I do :-)
