    I bought 4 of these as unsexed chicks from Cackle with the hopes of at least one being a pullet. They are 11 weeks old now but can’t really tell the sex on them yet. Not sure if they develop slower than production BOs but all 4 still have tiny pink combs and wattles the same size. I’m assuming they are all pullets unless this line takes longer for their combs and wattles to develop. But I know I can’t be right because I’m just not that lucky 😂

    What is the main difference between exhibition type orpingtons and the regular type orpingtons?

      Exhibition has more fluff and bigger. Regular are more for meat and egg production. You have to see both flocks to see the differences. Show livestock and meat production of the same breeds of any livestock will look very different in fine details.

      @@kl1958 yes heritage breeds retains a lot of natural instincts like foraging and especially broodiness
