@@MrNeedleM0use Hi. And I know I say this a lot, but it is just hard to get out of my head. I would love to see an Ifrit boss and nega Mother Wisp bosses in Sonic x Shadow generations. Both are connected to lore that sega refuses to use. Ifrit (sonic rivals 2) can destroy an intirer dimension bathing it in fire (the game comfirms its whole universe, not just a planet). Sonic and Shadow only defeat a heavily weakened ifrit as it isn't fully revived yet (it did eat a bunch of chao and become invincible, though. Plus, he has mind control powers and is just as sentient as chaos even though it wasn't at full power). But they still beat it in base, which is still incredibly impressive. I bring him up because Gerald has notes on ifrit implying Gerald Robotnik somehow got into the dimension that chaosic inferno takes place in. Plus, ifrit seems connected to the chao somehow, and Gerald knows of him, so i hope he is at least in the journal. As for the nega mother wisp, I loved her boss fight. She is a part of the wisps lore (yes, the wisps have lore actually lore, such as the mother wisp creating the wisps and the planets that eggman captured, the ds version of colors going into detail on how negative wisps are made and how it affects their minds, actually giving each wisps their own personalities like Lazer trying to fight the robots and void straight up destroying shit and causing chaos. The mother wisp is kind and motherly but can have a temper. eggman is lucky he got caught in the black hole before she got free. Plus, the wisps actually flow with level design in colors wii and ds. Similar to how the doom powers seem to. Unlike in the lost world or forces. The ds has a better story than the wii version. It has interesting lore, the wisps are fun and the stages are fun. Not to mention, multiple characters have sonic do missions to help free wisps or extra information on what is going on. I have both versions. The wisps are neat and do have lore. I wish sega would actually utilize their lore more). Ifrit and the mother wisp are very interesting and think you should cover them. Plus, the fact that Sonic and Shadow, among other characters, defeated Ifrit in base shows how powerful they are. Also, I think marine the raccoon should return due to her unexplained power, and the complaints about her are already addressed in her character arc and development from sonic rush adventure. Also, phantom king creates the egg revery, which is infinite in space-time, and space and time (yes, there is a difference) in Sonic Mania, and that's just classic super sonic. Also, Chaos drives, artificial chaos, the ark, and G.U.N. are all interesting. I wish sega would use them more, too. Oh, and Emerl and Gemerl should be explored a bit again. Sonic rush, rush adventure, rivals 2, the advance games, sonic battle, and Sonic colors ds deserve more attention. Oh, and sega sonic the hedgehog arcade is awesome. oh, and Sage definitely should return as she is a neat character with cool lore. And the dark arms and black doom are neat lore wise. Note mention sega not using the wisps personalities and sometimes going against said personalities (Viod and probably lazy likely wouldn't like being shoved in wispons. Not to mention, void usually doesn't trust random people unless they are people they think are safe which isn't going to be random people. Another line I found interesting was the one in the last story before the devil doom fight “Your past, present, and future ends here TODAY” another thing is the level The Doom. maybe it wasn’t actually a flash back it was actually time travel.
In Shadow The Hedgehog in the final level pre-evolved Black Arms are inside blue liquid like eggs that look suspiciously a lot like The Ancients. There's also the fact they have exactly the same anatomy. Two Toes, three fingers and yellow eyes.
I just assumed that Chaos Island and Sunset Heights are similar cases to Crisis City in Sonic Generations where they are stages from the future. As Sonic never did technically go through Crisis City before as the events in Sonic 06 were erased from the main time line. And Crisis City takes place 200 years in the future. If Shadow is the same version of him from Sonic Generations, he technically hasn’t been to either location yet either. I don’t know, time travel stories can get very convoluted.

AND I REALLY LOVED SONIC FRONTIERS. This gotta be some dream 😅
Every since I saw chaos island when the doom power trailer came out, I always thought that the ancients have something to do with the black arms race or vice versa thousands of years ago!
Here’s my own theory. Shadow most likely knew or visited the Starfall islands before the events of Frontiers and probably also fought Knight as Super Shadow or black doom is using the time eater’s energy to bring locations that Shadow has never seen before.
Shadow is made from black doom dna so at some point they were the same thing which means Black Doom memory and shadow memory at that time was one and the same and Starfall Islands have Black Arms data so there some connection that may exist in the past and we dont know
I have a feeling that a bootstrap paradox conundrum might happen. Since Shadow will be on the island, I’m going to presume that he will fighting against Knight. Here’s my interpretation of what the problem will be: Since Shadow already fought Knight in the past, there technically would not have been the fight for Sonic in Frontiers. So which one came first, hmm? 🤨 Think about it, Shadow is fighting Knight during Generations, but at the same time Sonic is fighting against Knight as well in Frontiers. So which one is the real battle? 🧐 I strongly suggest everyone think about this though because as the official Twitter statement once stated: EVERYTHING IS CANON. PS: This also applies to Sunset Heights and other stages in Forces.
My guess would be since black doom can time travel he sent shadow to the future or if you remember mephlies sent shadow to the future to show him that the world will betray him and that’s a canon event so if mephlies shows up he could possibly show shadow what happens in the future which could lead to infinite won and shadow prevented that cuz he saw it happen in shadow generations
Black doom falls down towards what looks like the black comet after beating him since you can see it as he falls and you're still above the city seeing the buildings at the bottom as well as Shadow being there to warp the comet away.
Logically, what I think is that Shadow and Black Doom obviously have deep connections to the Chaos Emeralds and the Ancients were the ones who brought the emeralds to Mobius. Based off the concept art from Frontiers it’s also shown that Chaos Island was where the Titans were being built along with being the main location for the Ancients’ defenses. We also know that other beings were aware of the existence of the Chaos Emeralds, the Black Arms being one of them. So considering all the connections with the lore of the Chaos Emeralds, I think it makes sense why we are making a stop in Chaos Island. I think the two Shadows theory is a bit of a stretch, but it makes a little sense. But whether or not Shadow is from the past or future, it doesn’t really correlate with him ending up in Chaos Island based on the connections I presented. In terms of Forces also being in this game, perhaps we might be getting more about the Phantom Ruby again? Again, I believe this is all possible because of the connections to the Chaos Emeralds and the Phantom Ruby has a strange connection to the Chaos Emeralds as we’ve seen in Mania. And it has the power to bend reality in a similar matter that Black Doom does in the Space Colony Ark level. So maybe Black Doom is also using the Phantom Ruby along with the Ancients technology like you proposed. But, I guess this will all be answered once the game comes out. And it’s fun trying to piece together what’ll happen since they’ve barely revealed anything about the story.
I have another theory on Black Doom, we killed him in 05, but we also see that he can both use his Doom’s Eye form and his Black Doom form at the same time. So he still exists in his Doom’s eye form after defeat.
You have cool ideas, but the only issue is that during the battle with Devil Doom, we can clearly see Westopolis and Central City below Shadow and Devil Doom. Doom even uses the ruins of the cities to attack Shadow. When Doom fell to Earth, I believe it's implied that he fell into the Black Comet, which was soon after destroyed by the Eclipse Cannon along with him.
I’d love that if in act 2 you see the super sonic from frontiers fighting knight. Think about it there traveling through time and space there will still be other Sonics from those games in those areas it makes sense.
Because the time eater doesn't just effect the past, but also the future. And wince this is a remake of Generations, it only makes sense they can now use future titles to add to the game, so that they can foreshadow Sonics future adventures.
Not all the stages need to be from the past. They are currently outside of time after all. Black Doom could have survived simply because Shadow did. Shadow is part of the Black Arms and anything that has their genetic material is automatically part of the hivemind. He could have been chilling inside Shadow's head until opportunity presented itself.
Fans: creates complicated reasons on why characters are on places where they shouldn't be SEGA: well... it's Sonic Generations, we needed to include stuff from the newer games... jokes aside, great theory! I can't wait for this game
Yeah. I know time eater is in shadow generations, but with forces and frontiers levels being present, it makes no sense for shadow generations to be set during generations
Personally I have thought that shadow is on chaos island because Gerald was there at one point researching the ancients which is how he got the idea for the artificial chaos. Although I most likely got some information wrong
Im honestly surprised they haven't added an shadow the hedgehog stage yet ive got the feeling that black comet may return since theres an model of black doom they posted recently
@@MrNeedleM0use I'm hoping so cause I loved that stage as crazy this may sound Im hoping that act 1 starts in iron jungle because at the end of that stage that's the entrance to lava shelter right there have slowly transition into lava Shelter and act 2 lava Shelter itself sorry if that's confusing but it's an idea
If what you say is true, then will have to wait for the new Sonic the Hedgehog video game to come out. Because my theories is saying that the ancients and the black arms might be connected.
I have my own personal theory, that is: We know the ancients had multiple tribes with different types of ancients, that's how the titans were created, as Sage states, there was a tribe with large bodies (which inspired the creation of Giganto) a tribe that had a tail instead of legs (which inspired Wyvern), a tribe that had 4 legs (which inspired Knight) and a tribe that had wings (which inspired Supreme), and a 5th tribe that was the most intelligent of them all, it was the one which escaped The End and landed on Sonic's Planet/Earth Surprisingly, the Ancients weren't the only alien species that were connected to Chaos, not even the first ones, the Black Arms also are theorized to have connection to Chaos and the Chao, unlike the Ancients it isn't anything confirmed, but for years people have theorized the connection beetween the Black Arms and the Chao, for example: in Shadow 05 there are some Black Arms creation pods, and inside of those pods, the Black Arms being created strangely have entirely blue bodies with green eyes, exactly like Chaos (and the Ancients of course), plus, just like how the Biolizard has the same roar as Perfect Chaos (which is one of the arguments used in the very popular mural theory to explain how Biolizard is inspired by Perfect Chaos while Shadow is inspired by Super Sonic in the Hidden Palace mural), so, that roar, Devil Doom surprisingly has the SAME roar as Perfect Chaos and the Biolizard, that may be because that roar could be a sample sfx, and that's why it's used with every single one of them, in the 3Ds version of Sonic Generations the Biolizard reuses the same roar as the Dark Gaia Phoenix for example, but I still think that those 3 originally having the same roar could be some kind of connection Anyway, my theory is that the Black Arms could be a 6th tribe of ancients, or Black Doom alone could be a different kind of Ancient which didn't fit with the other tribes, which decided to abandon the Ancient's planet much prior to The End's arrive and destruction of their planet, so they got away with the Black Comet, that would also explain why they knew about the Chaos Emeralds already (unless the Chaos Emeralds are items known across the entire galaxy or even universe, which is possible), since the Emeralds were items possessed by the Ancients beforehand For me, the Black Arms would be some kind of "Dark Chao Ancients", just like there are Dark Chao, there's even a Dark Chaos Chao/Devil Chao which looks really simillar to a Black Arm
Oh, also another cool thing to note I forgot to mention, we don't know if this is intentional or not, Ian Flynn was asked about this but he awnsered he didn't knew if it was intentional or not because he wasn't the one who wrote that dialogue, but... The different Ancient tribes surprisingly fit pretty well with Chaos' evolutions, the tribe with strong bodies would be Chaos 2, the tribe with a tail instead of legs would be Chaos 4, the tribe with 4 legs would be Chaos 6, and the tribe with wings, could be Chaos 3 or Chaos 5, or maybe even a representation of Perfect Chaos since he is a dragon, and dragons are known for having wings (although he doesn't), the Black Arms being like "Dark Chao" of the Ancients, would explain why Chao evolve into them, and maybe they could fit with Perfect Chaos just like the other tribes fit with the other forms of Chaos
Cool! Even though me personally I just believe the time eater brought back black doom from the dead because Eggmans goal was to undo his previous defeats even though it’s technically black dooms defeat. I’m pretty sure it’s still applies. Plus that black doom thing in the new key art gave me more time eater elements vibes than the ancients plus the eye of that thing is the same eye on the doom, powers gates also, the chaos Island thing where you said black doom fell there from his defeat. There’s only one major issue. I find with that because I’m pretty sure from that one screenshot where the volcano is exploding and the Eggman robot that’s there that I don’t think that’s true cause it looks like shadows there during frontiers also, I’m pretty sure we would’ve seen black doom in frontiers if he was there but we don’t see him anywhere while we run around dearing chaos island (but I won’t disagree that you made some good points)
I don't know. Chaos island doesn't seem to be under Doom's influence like radical highway is. I don't think it's impossible for doom to not know the ancients are but for him to only discover them after his defeat in shadow 05 seems unlikely due their connection to the emeralds and the chao.
I have a theory and I think it’s a perfect way to end sonic x shadow generations what if they take both plots of the sonic and shadow story and do a remake of the final hazard boss from SA2
Combining my favorite sonic game (frontiers yeah I know weird pick) and what will definitely be my favorite shadow game into some lore?…..all I can say is YES!
from what you have said you are implying that 1. shadow is going through sunset heights and the other stages again because he has been there before in his PAST 2. chaos island is in the game because black doom was there so is taking shadow there in his PAST long before sonic forces so my question is why would the sonic forces mass produced death egg robot be in the background of chaos island as it was in frontiers? (the correct answer being this is sonic's future/past, shadow is just going through it)
Not to destroy your theory since maybe this could be 100% true if Sonic Team retcons its, but when you defeat Devil Doom on Shadow you see the city under them, even if they Chaos Control
It’s already been confirmed the Black Doom in Shadow Gens isn’t the same one from Shadow 05, his return is purely because of the Time Eater or something so that falls apart real quick
What are you talking about ? It has not been confirmed at all. Moreover, it makes no sense. Why would Eggman use the Time eater to bring back Black Doom when they have 2 opposite end goals ? Rather it's clear that Black Doom survived after the events of Shadow 05 and he's the one manipulating Shadow bec in the Space Colony ark act 1 Shaodw follows a shadow revealing that it's Black Doom. And in the prologue animation teaser, the description mentions that Black Doom is messing with Shadow's memories.
@@islamforever5875 Yes it has been confirmed, it was either Iizuka that said it in of the interviews or something. I forget which specific thing atm but it’s very much confirmed Black Doom’s return is because of the Time Eater’s influence or whatever
@@MrNeedleM0use Regardless to say he fell on Chaos Island specifically feels like a long stretch, as far as I’m aware the Devil Doom boss took place around Westopolis or whatevs
Few things i found wrong about your theory regarding your doom falling to chaos island part, one thing you do need to realize is that Doom couldn't have fallen to chaos Island for a few reasons. 1. The game never states that you fight black doom above the earth's atmosphere 2. After you beat him, the camera pans downward to show you where he fell and Shadow & Devil Doom were fighting each other over a city, presumably central city or Westopolis. Also the new black doom looking thing wasn't made through the ancient's tech, it's a combination of the Time Eater's power. If it was it would have looked like the ancient's tech. Also also, yes this is the Black Doom we see in Shadow Gens IS the same Black Doom from STH 05. One of The Playstation blogs said that the time eater brought him back. Doom Probably does know about chaos island but never actually visited it. The Time Eater is the the thing responsible for bringing locations into the White world. If it did it in Sonic Gens it Did it in Shadow Gens.
I would say fair but first off, there are multiple people telling me the complete opposite of what you are saying in this same comments section and 2 I honestly think this could very easily be retconned.
@@MrNeedleM0use who exactly is telling you this? Cause everything I'm saying ether was brought up in a blog or is straight up part of the game. What parts are people telling you are the opposite of what I'm saying?
Way too much of a coincidence if thats true, bad theory. The black comet appears every 50 years so theres a very high chance they made contact with the ancients on many of their visits
Also one more thing i forgot to mention is the crater on Chaos could have been created by Devil Doom falling onto it. BUT THATS JUST A THEORY

And it’s fun trying to piece together what’ll happen since they’ve barely revealed anything about the story.
sonic team wanted to have chaos island in 3d
It can be retconned. If they can add EVERY sonic game ever into the canon, they can do this
I’d love that if in act 2 you see the super sonic from frontiers fighting knight. Think about it there traveling through time and space there will still be other Sonics from those games in those areas it makes sense.
*when i hear the word "forces"*
ma boi must make a legendary comeback to the gamr
I don’t know why Sega added chaos island from Sonic Frontiers and Turns into a Shadow Level ?
Because Chaos Island is the best.
because they're getting all weird with the lore
Just because it appears in Shadows' story doesn't mean it's not sonics lvl. It's still sonics lvl
Because the time eater doesn't just effect the past, but also the future. And wince this is a remake of Generations, it only makes sense they can now use future titles to add to the game, so that they can foreshadow Sonics future adventures.
@@omegashinobi Oh ok I get it now.
Thanks 🔥🔥
Not all the stages need to be from the past. They are currently outside of time after all. Black Doom could have survived simply because Shadow did. Shadow is part of the Black Arms and anything that has their genetic material is automatically part of the hivemind. He could have been chilling inside Shadow's head until opportunity presented itself.
Fans: creates complicated reasons on why characters are on places where they shouldn't be
SEGA: well... it's Sonic Generations, we needed to include stuff from the newer games...
jokes aside, great theory! I can't wait for this game
Thanks man!
My theory is that shadow generations takes place after sonic frontiers. So yeah.
Yeah. I know time eater is in shadow generations, but with forces and frontiers levels being present, it makes no sense for shadow generations to be set during generations
Dark Beginnings confirmed it, it takes place at the same time
OR it's time travel and Time Eater just pulled from the future
i Just Thought Sega Chose Chaos Island As A Stage Because It Has Chaos, Shadow Has Chaos Powers
They are really making Black Doom the Reverse Flash of the sonic franchise.
(IT WAS ME BARRY)
Bro is repeating himself constantly
Another thing is I kinda wanna see new stages for the sonic generations like imagine if we got a studiopolis stage for sonic mania.
Personally I have thought that shadow is on chaos island because Gerald was there at one point researching the ancients which is how he got the idea for the artificial chaos. Although I most likely got some information wrong
thats weird... so you are telling me that both silver and shadow knew about the future huh
In short, Chaos Island is here because it’s the best of the Starfall islands hands down.
maybe the time eater is mephiles and both him and doom fused with the ancient's technology to become the time eater maybe infinite can be a boss
My theory is
Reusing an asset that isn't bad is a smart idea
TRUE
Im honestly surprised they haven't added an shadow the hedgehog stage yet ive got the feeling that black comet may return since theres an model of black doom they posted recently
PLEASE LAVA SHELTER CAN IT BE ADDED AAAAAAAH
@@MrNeedleM0use I'm hoping so cause I loved that stage as crazy this may sound Im hoping that act 1 starts in iron jungle because at the end of that stage that's the entrance to lava shelter right there have slowly transition into lava Shelter and act 2 lava Shelter itself sorry if that's confusing but it's an idea
I get this theory, but what if shadow is going through the stages of his and doom's past because black doom is using cyberspace.
I can’t wait for us to come back to this video in a month
Me too lmfao
If what you say is true, then will have to wait for the new Sonic the Hedgehog video game to come out. Because my theories is saying that the ancients and the black arms might be connected.
I have my own personal theory, that is: We know the ancients had multiple tribes with different types of ancients, that's how the titans were created, as Sage states, there was a tribe with large bodies (which inspired the creation of Giganto) a tribe that had a tail instead of legs (which inspired Wyvern), a tribe that had 4 legs (which inspired Knight) and a tribe that had wings (which inspired Supreme), and a 5th tribe that was the most intelligent of them all, it was the one which escaped The End and landed on Sonic's Planet/Earth
Surprisingly, the Ancients weren't the only alien species that were connected to Chaos, not even the first ones, the Black Arms also are theorized to have connection to Chaos and the Chao, unlike the Ancients it isn't anything confirmed, but for years people have theorized the connection beetween the Black Arms and the Chao, for example: in Shadow 05 there are some Black Arms creation pods, and inside of those pods, the Black Arms being created strangely have entirely blue bodies with green eyes, exactly like Chaos (and the Ancients of course), plus, just like how the Biolizard has the same roar as Perfect Chaos (which is one of the arguments used in the very popular mural theory to explain how Biolizard is inspired by Perfect Chaos while Shadow is inspired by Super Sonic in the Hidden Palace mural), so, that roar, Devil Doom surprisingly has the SAME roar as Perfect Chaos and the Biolizard, that may be because that roar could be a sample sfx, and that's why it's used with every single one of them, in the 3Ds version of Sonic Generations the Biolizard reuses the same roar as the Dark Gaia Phoenix for example, but I still think that those 3 originally having the same roar could be some kind of connection
Anyway, my theory is that the Black Arms could be a 6th tribe of ancients, or Black Doom alone could be a different kind of Ancient which didn't fit with the other tribes, which decided to abandon the Ancient's planet much prior to The End's arrive and destruction of their planet, so they got away with the Black Comet, that would also explain why they knew about the Chaos Emeralds already (unless the Chaos Emeralds are items known across the entire galaxy or even universe, which is possible), since the Emeralds were items possessed by the Ancients beforehand
For me, the Black Arms would be some kind of "Dark Chao Ancients", just like there are Dark Chao, there's even a Dark Chaos Chao/Devil Chao which looks really simillar to a Black Arm
Definitely think shadow is post-forces, but not so sure about black doom, seems very convoluted to explain 🤔
Maybe we’ll get a story trailer of some kind closer to the release of the game🤔
Chaos Island From Black The Doom
hm?
I don't know. Chaos island doesn't seem to be under Doom's influence like radical highway is. I don't think it's impossible for doom to not know the ancients are but for him to only discover them after his defeat in shadow 05 seems unlikely due their connection to the emeralds and the chao.
This is funny, I made a video about Chaos Island a few days ago, lmao
Because chaos island is the best island in frontiers

Plot Twist. SEGA/SonicTeam is making Sonic Frontiers: Episode Shadow.
Please SEGA/SonicTeam, PLEASE
Because starfall radio needs to talk about it
True!
That's interesting but still we have to wait for the game to come out to see that. For now I'm 50/50 on this.
Fair
It’s also just time travel. He doesn’t have to have been there before right? Couldn’t he just travel there or is there something I’m missing?
I think it's called "Chaos Island" for a reason. I mean, Shadow is tied to the Chaos Emeralds and so is Chaos Island so yeah
I have a theory and I think it’s a perfect way to end sonic x shadow generations what if they take both plots of the sonic and shadow story and do a remake of the final hazard boss from SA2

@@lks19 holy shit you're right
Who cares? At least new version is miles better than the actual island from Frontiers.
Shadow 05 is at the same level as heroes ngl
Hell no. Heroes is so much worse
@@MrNeedleM0use hell yeah, both are slippery messes
@@PiecakeQ except shadow is kinda good and heroes is the worst sonic game
@@MrNeedleM0use your like insane for "worst game" when boom, 06, forces, secret rings exist
@@PiecakeQ Yes its worse than all of them
from what you have said you are implying that
1. shadow is going through sunset heights and the other stages again because he has been there before in his PAST
2. chaos island is in the game because black doom was there so is taking shadow there in his PAST long before sonic forces
so my question is why would the sonic forces mass produced death egg robot be in the background of chaos island as it was in frontiers? (the correct answer being this is sonic's future/past, shadow is just going through it)
Is White space a coma, and Black doom is in shadow's mind, Like the Dark Beginnings nightmare?
Not to destroy your theory since maybe this could be 100% true if Sonic Team retcons its, but when you defeat Devil Doom on Shadow you see the city under them, even if they Chaos Control
If they can retcon in EVERY Sonic game into the canon, they can do this.
@@MrNeedleM0use agreed lmao
GREAT VIDEO
you might actually be on to something right there

nice video
It’s already been confirmed the Black Doom in Shadow Gens isn’t the same one from Shadow 05, his return is purely because of the Time Eater or something so that falls apart real quick
I’ve never seen this before for 1 and for 2, I also mention in the video the possibility of doom being a different black doom
@@islamforever5875 Brother. Please either reread your comment or rewatch my video cause thats not what i said
@@islamforever5875 Yes it has been confirmed, it was either Iizuka that said it in of the interviews or something. I forget which specific thing atm but it’s very much confirmed Black Doom’s return is because of the Time Eater’s influence or whatever

Easy, Shadow is chaotic since he uses the Chaos Emeralds, so Chaos Island. Duh.
Few things i found wrong about your theory
regarding your doom falling to chaos island part, one thing you do need to realize is that Doom couldn't have fallen to chaos Island for a few reasons.
1. The game never states that you fight black doom above the earth's atmosphere
