      There is none. They are all food safe as in a charcuterie board as in food contact but none are good for cutting board as in food grade. You're not meant to eat epoxy so you dont cut on it. The title needs to be changed. Ive never seen anyone that works extensively with epoxy recommend this. This was actually discussed by the creator in the first post so they are aware. There is epoxy all over that board and would be hard to miss cutting on

      @@therebellion6911 It still would have been a stoked board if he would have only used the edges behind the cutting board, or used the color in the juice groove as I have seen many professional cutting board experts. It's still beautiful, but is should not be cut on.

      Yes as long as you sand and clean and use food safe oil/wax for finish!

    Wow! What great inspiration this is. Can you please advise what you use to fill in the smaller holes after the epoxy pour has been done. I am in the midst of making my 1st board and have areas to fill! Paul- UK

    Came across your video, and it turned out beautiful! Just a question. If it's epoxy, how does it not get scratched up by a knife during use? Or is it just decorative?

    • @jaredcoreyconcepts
      @jaredcoreyconcepts  Год назад +1

      Thanks James! Appreciate it! I recommend to people who buy boards with epoxy to not cut on epoxy section, however this board is huge! The section of walnut is more than enough space to cut on!

    • @jaredcoreyconcepts
      @jaredcoreyconcepts  6 месяцев назад +1

      Just personal preference, I like the mitre for making cuts but this cutting board was so large for the longer end I had to run it through the table saw.
