- Epoxy resin and copper handled walnut serving board/cutting board/ charcuterie board. The latest in my trash wood to treasure series is this cutting board (aka serving board or charcuterie board) made from leftover walnut slab off cuts, white pearl epoxy resin, and copper handles with epoxy end caps. I cut recesses for whiskey glasses, cheeses, and accompaniments. I made sure to leave plenty of the wood surface for cutting as well, but this will primarily be a cheese board for us. Finally a project I get to keep and use often! Thanks for checking out this epoxy resin and copper handled walnut serving board/cutting board/ charcuterie board.

Cheese! Man, nothing better at the end of a project than Manhattan's and snacks. This is awesome.
CHEESE. Beautiful board. I'm a newbie to woodworking and this will be my first ever build. Can't wait to see how my board turns out.
Those copper handles with the exposed epoxy on the end... insanity. This looks so dope!
Dude, I LOVE the incorporation of the copper pipe for handles. Filling the ends with matching white epoxy was a very nice touch as well. Well done! 👏
Absolutely STUNNING result! GORGEOUS! I love it!
Jonny, very, very cute! Loved the idea. Congratulations!
Very nice! wasn't sure about the white at the beginning but don't know about an epoxy river it looks like an epoxy glacier! beautiful!
Cheese!! I don't think I would've made the epoxy white but that is all subjective. The serving board was a well crafted thing of beauty! Thank you for sharing this content!!!
Cheese! Great board. Love those little touches that make your work products special and stand out from the masses.
On a different note: you seem a bit taller than many folks and it doesn't seem you customized your work surfaces to accommodate your height. Take care of your back - others can adjust to your-sized work surfaces in the less time they spend on them, just as you have done/do on standard issue work tables/machines.
Just sayin' 🙂
Love your work. Love your channel. Thanks for all the inspiration.
Your result really so perfect👍👍👍😍
I did not know you could add mineral oil to resin like that and it would dry on the resin. I thought it had to soak into the wood, this video has mede me rethink my cherry party platter thanks and awesome job.
How could I not watch to the end. Cheese... Verry nice job.
cheeseeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL! i love all you art works so muchh there amazinnggg
Very nice, the copper handles are really great
This is the wildest woodworking video that I have ever seen!
Cheese
Two of my favorite things, copper and walnut. Very nice.
Cheese. Amazing project. Has me completely inspired
Cheese
LdOL at the joke about using tools for the unintended purpose.
Just Beautiful!
Really Nice Project Man I love the white pearl pigment in the white river.
It must be really nice to be into a bigger shop now many more possibilities for you now.
Incredible. Very careful and super detail project.
Beautiful work sir 👍👍
"CHEESE" 🧀 I think you should have used those off-cuts from the handles to make a cheese knife to match it! 😉 Very beautiful, great job!🥰
now that was fantastic
Congrats again on the new shop!
Thanks brother! It’s in SL. You’ll have to come check it out.
@@JonnyBuilds oh if I must....
And extra patrol it constantly
Stunning work sir🏴
Those are such a good tips to use the cutoffs to help keep the holes for the handles from chipping out and to use the centering jig to get the holes started. Nice one! Say, "Cheese!" 😉
Excellent job
Formagio! Remarkable work! Really well done.
Very nice project
Beautiful project. I really like the use of copper for the handles. Overall a great design. "Cheese"
That is so beautiful
"Cheese" Great video. That is very cool. Very classy looking. CNC machine is cool. Could watch that machine work all day.
"cheese"! Nice work, very involved process but beautiful piece!
Very nicely done!!
Cheese 🧀 - I'd love one of those!!
Yep that’s some good work.
Beautiful.
Nice job! 😁 Cheese! 🧀
Really beautiful Jonny! I love the contrast of the walnut with the white epoxy!
Cool design. Great project.
And Cheese.
Very busy piece. A lot of time. Very nice nonetheless
Cheese!
Very cool.
“Cheese!”
Beautiful work. I’m inspired to build something similar for the misses.
Good Morning. it was wonderful. excellent job. congratulations!!
Looks awesome Jonny! 😃👍🏻👊🏻
This board is badazz!
Cheese. Nicely done.
Cheese
That's a very nice project 👍👍
Nice! Thanks for the video. Another project for the list.
CHEESE! Love this project! Awesome build!
Cheese! Great idea with extra wood!
Beautifully done!
Nice project well done!
Cheese. Great project - interesting to watch the process.
Thats beautiful. I wish instead of cutting the copper pipe flush with the board, some kind of copper cap would have been pretty too.👍
Beautiful
Awesome work!
I been looking for a way to do a small epoxy pour. Had thought about this. Gives me a better idea on what to make, now.
Cheese! - Beautiful creation!
Cheese! So pretty!
Starting that hole with a Forstner bit may have helped with that drill bit tearout
“Cheese”! That is a great project and should prove to be a really good money maker for you.
That's awesome! I loved it!
Bad ass piece!!
Great design. Looks really cool.
CHEESE! Inspirational
Cheese!! Another great build.
CHEESE! Beautiful serving board!
Cheese I look forward to doing more wood working.
Cheese! Loved the copper handles and the walnut, but I'm not too sure about that white pearl resin. Might just be my eyes but I think something a little more translucent/colored would have looked more appealing, as that reminds me of a block of polystyrene. That's just my opinion though, and I really appreciate you putting this video up here for us to enjoy - especially as there's not a lot else to do right now!
Great job man!
"This" or is it "Cheese"? You just said "comment "this"" 😋 That board does look really good. To avoid tear out when drilling into wood, I've used a mix or spade bits and forstner bits, but brad points are my favourite. I've also used metal hole saws to start the hole off, but they need to be really sharp! I then finish off with a regular wood bit, which gives a really clean hole. 👍
Nice, like the color differences. And a good "cheese" to try. If you can find it. Is a white oak smoked aged white cheddar.
It’s beautiful
Very cool project! Especially in a world where epoxy rivers are getting kind of CHEESE-y
That was awesome.
Cheese! :)
Beauty full
Enjoyable watch, thanks for sharing the walk through
cheese nicely done
Beauty!
CHEESE - nice work.
Cheese. It looks stunning!
"Cheese" love it
Very talented and classy, you should do a cutting board next and I know it sounds dull but with your imagination it would be great.. keep the projects coming.
That was awesome!
Cheese. Love the serving tray and how you put the copper handles on it. May I suggest suing some Brasso or NeverDull to polish the brass instead of the micro mesh sanding discs. It will take less time. Thank you for the inspiration.
I feel like I should be questioning my lifestyle since I don't have a single serving tray. This is one is really nice. Did remind me that I need some whiskey soon.
Cheese! Beautiful! Thanks for awesome videos!
Cheese - great project!
Cheese! First time I’ve watched one of your videos. Instant subscriber! Very nice project.
Welcome aboard!
That's beautiful love it
Cheese and WOW!
Brie 😉 bought some brass rod to make the handles in chopping boards I made for Christmas.
Cheese! Great build brother
I found if you run the drill bit backwards it’ll start the hole enough with no tear out
Cheese! Nice job 👍
Cheese. Great job
Totally awesome! thanks for the video dude,
Cheese!
Great project!
At any plumbing supply place you can get copper "plugs" by drilling out the ends with a larger bit 1/2 inch in and gluing the ends on it would have made a nice finish accent to the sides.
