My understanding with the Liquid Metals is to add them to your Color Burst projects. The videos I've seen shows the Color Burst doing their magic and then before drying put some drops of Liquid Metal on the color spreading it with a brush or finger and it creates a beautiful metallic shine to your Color Burst. I believe they were made to go together but not the metals alone. There are many great videos showing how to use the Liquid Metals.
+Amanda Johnson Yes, I totally agree. They are suppose to be used with the color bursts but not everyone owns the color bursts. I wanted to do a general color share so ppl that don't own the color burst can see these colors on their own. Thanks for stopping by :)
Thanks for the review. I am awaiting my colorbursts in the mail, but I was curious about these metallic ones. I'm glad I saw this before purchasing! I currently have the kuretake zig watercolor pearlescent watercolor jewelry box in 12 colors. I was curious if you had used them before, and if so, what your opinion was of them. I love watching your videos!
+Roselee Orlanzino Thank you so much Roselee, I truly appreciate your wonderful support :) I don't own the zig jewel box, I only have the pearlescent paints that I show in the video. That one and the larger set. Much hugs
Well, just from my assumptions I wasn't expecting the liquid metals to perform like the color bursts. It is water soluble yes but the name didn't say "liquid metal burst". I would treat this like a liquid metallic watercolor....using a brush.
+Erin S. Yes, I agree 👍🏻😉. I know it's suppose to be used with the color bursts but not everyone has the color bursts to use them with so I just did a general color share. Thanks
Actually, depending on what packaging you get yours in, it may say 'Color Burst Liquid Metals'. Ken Oliver himself refers to them as 'Color Burst Liquid Metals'. I do think they are beautiful, especially when added to the traditional Color Burst powders as Ken Oliver does in his videos.
Thanks for this. I would probably not purchase them. The name is a little misleading. I'd compare these to angel mists.. they are just a little shiny. Thanks a bunch! I enjoyed watching!! xoxo Jen

Oh I am soooo glad that you did this review....I have been eyeing them for a while now so now I know how they work....or don't work...thanks again!
+Patricia Dunbar No problem, I'm glad it helped. You can add this to the color bursts and it's suppose to enhance it with a metallic look ;)
Have been wanting to see these in action. So cool! Thanks for sharing. Aloha, Amy
+HapaChicCreative Thank you so much, I'm glad you liked this video. Much hugs

Great video! I wondered if you could you could use them alone. What is the palette that you show at the end of the video?

+Joyce N. (EnjoyScrappin2) how are they supposed to be used with the color bursts?
+Erin S. You use the color burst as you normally would and add the Liquid metal on top of it before it dries.
