- This is a Periscope Re-Broadcast of a "first look" and demo of the Precious Alloys Liquid Metals by Ken Oilver Crafts. These are LIQUID, SHIMMERING WATERCOLORS and I wanted to see how they behaved. I demo them here on Watercolor Paper and YUPO using a few techniques. Thanks for watching and please subscribe!
Oh This was Fun. Great presentation and review. You always think of every which way to share the good, the bad, the ugly and the Funtabulousity of it all. Love the final look that the Liquid Metallics have. Thanks for sharing and your chit chat that goes with it all...you are so fun and had me LOL. YOU so ROCK!!

Thanks, I really love your test methodology and respect your honesty with new products!
I love that you test everything right before our eyes. It's helped me to either buy or NOT buy something and I really appreciate that. I'll be retiring next month and won't have a steady income so my purchasing has come to a screeching halt!

Love this product, glad to see it's back up!
I'm glad I got to see how these perform before purchasing. Now that I see them, I'm not in any hurry to get them. I like to use Gelatos for my background work, and I think I will just stick to them and my distress inks. Thank you so much for the video! You saved me some money!
I believe there is a platinum or white wondering if you can use in a watercolor aquabrush
Thank you for the review.
I was wondering what the metals were going to look like and how they would react. Great demo! Thank you
it was a nice demo, thanks! Only thing I'm wondering is how they look/react on a color burst powder background as that's what they're intended to mix with if i understand correctly. I'd like to see how they interact...
Ken Oliver goes thru all of this in his videos for this product. It’s a really nice product.
Thank you! I don't care for the look of those. I love shimmer and I was wondering about them.
I have the other set and I love them.
Does anyone know if these are archival?
This will sound *MAD* but I was at Blicks saw these and saw non toxic. I was glad to see you tested them, love your videos. The crazy part is, I wondered about using them for makeup. Pat McGrath has a line of metals. Mica with a liquid binder, can be applied to eyes lips or skin as a highlight. It is I think 70 dollars. That's insane. Looking for a knock off. Told you it was mad. Hehe.
I would not necessarily recommend these- they are powdered watercolors, and so would not be super- conducive to wearing on the body (your sweat would literally cause it to melt and smear!) However, Pearl-ex pigment powders might be what you are looking for. I also have a video on those. :)
great demo. say hi to your doggy.
These were intended to work with Color Burst powders, so this isn't the best representation of the product and its capabilities.
Watercolor tends to wipe right off Yupo.
