    That's awesome that they're still making the manual transmission. Nissans are great long lasting cars, but the CVTs have had reliability issues.

      Can u order this car thru u in to the u.s? I'm also wondering. I'm in ca and wondering since I just got told today that my 18 Sentra SV with only 45000 miles on it already needs the tran fixed in mine and after mine produced and had code p2587 stored in mine and never made my check engine light in mine even come on in it even! I only found out after u asked then to check mine and when I took mine In to just get the oil changed in it in only even! But now it's at the dealer to be and get fixed because of it where I left it at just today because of it so now I'm just wondering if the manual ur driving in thru u would ever have that problem in it happen ever eventhough I do not know how to drive a manual one thru me and never have even driven one ever thru me even. Is it much different??

    Nissan should build more manual transmission like this than there CVT's

  • @jcardiel

    In México we have two versions only with this transmission, I’ll get one in manual because the CVT didn’t meet my expectations, unfortunately these two versions are entry level and not the SR equipment. Too bad for Nissan

      Before getting to Tutorials you , your self need to master manual transmission driving from a professional.There is a lot more to it then just pressing the clutch and sloppy gear changes.I hope you understand.

      @@marksphotoperry356 Oh lmao I just saw that I misread your comment. I'm sorry that I'm not 100% smooth after picking up a new car. I'm sure you're Dale Earnhardt behind the wheel so maybe you can make these videos instead?

There is a lot more then to ''be smooth '' for example; you under rev first gear Then you pause a little for some reason...Then you started to overrev second gear and you keep in it....Like i say you need manual transmission lessons

      @@GCCarsCA Literally says: “haven’t driven a manual in more than two years, my shifting won’t be perfect.” I am in the exact same boat, and just purchased the exact car in this review (2023.) Used this review, and others, and test drove an automatic to get a feel for the car and decided I liked it. Nothing about this review screams that he NEEDS driving lessons from a professional?

      I just prefer the engagement that comes from the manual, and Nissan did have some issues in the past with some of their CVT's.

    What's the mpg that this car gets? I have an 18 Sentra SV with a cvt in it so I'm wondering does the manual one your driving thru u have a eco gas gas saving feature in It also? Or no? I'm wondering if that is only in the cvt? Or does that come in their manual one ur driving in this also?

    • @GCCarsCA
      @GCCarsCA  2 года назад

      It's been a while since I reviewed this Sentra, but I remember it getting decent fuel mileage. I can't recall if it has an eco button, but all those change on manuals is the throttle mapping. So nothing you can't adjust yourself by just accelerating slower. I recommend watching my full review (linked in the top right of the video!), that might give you more answers.

      My 2021 6 speed SR usually averages 5.6-6.4 l/100 km (36-42 MPG) highway depending on how heavy footed I am, but I did manage to get 4.6 l/100 km (almost 52 MPG) on a long road trip, mostly highway, and very light traffic. City is usually between 7 and 9 l/100 km (26-33 MPG) depending on the volume of traffic

    • @marksphotoperry356
      @marksphotoperry356 Год назад

      When you drive manual you are one to determine what gas mileage you want ; you can rev to 2000 RPM as you shift or rev up to 6000 RPM or anything on between. In simple English you will easily get 45 MPG when shift easy or 30 MPG when racing it.That is the biggest reason we drive MANUAL !
