Truly ridiculous, indeed. The dealership I visited this past summer was charging $8K - $10K over. They acted like this was nothing. I left and never went back.
I'm in the minority but I love my Sentra and I'm really tempted to upgrade to the 22 or wait to see if there's any future models. Something about the exterior and interior of the Sentra catches my eye and I'm just a normal commuter so hp isn't that big of a deal for me.
Be sure that the cvt one and the manual one are absolutely different cars, I bought mine "manual"and my friend bought the exact same car with CVT ...the cvt is like any commute civic ..corolla ...the manual is the deal..the engine runs freely. The cvt holds it back on fuel consumption.
I have the midnight sv model with the diamond leather interior it has heated steering wheel and seats and sunroom. Amazing mpg. Coming from a 2010 altima user. MAJOR UPGRADE WITH CADILLAC LIKE INTERIOR SERIOUSLY LOOK. UP. THIS. CAR‼️‼️
Honda turned the Civic from a family compact car to a “luxury” car and jacked up the price for no reason. Sad what they did to it, they made it unaffordable.
Just got a 21 SR black nd white… when I test drove it I thought it was misfiring at first than I turned on the driving assist features and realized it was normal… now I love the car got it for 23k 19,000 miles… should I be scared?
I know you love the smoothest and highway quietness of the 2023 Elentra, but I get the impression you love the new Sentra even more, as far as smooth ride and most quiet??
I really like the Sentra. Feels sportier but the Elantra is an amazing car. Sporty looking but not sporty handling. But it does pretty good around corners. Sentra have more style. Little more elegant. I have an SEL without Conv. And I love it so much but Sentra as I said it’s sportier
@@Iegend17 Im actually waiting for my black Elantra SEL to arrive. I test drove a Sentra SV, and I actually felt it to be a lot more heavy and weighty compared to the Elantra, in a not so positive way. The Elantra felt more agile and zippy, the Sentra felt as if I was driving in mud. The Sentra is actually significantly heavier then that Elantra. Will you ever do an updated review on the Elantra SEL? How is it holding up?
News one are really good at the moment only time can tell tho and plus you’ll get an 3 or 8 year warranty 100k miles I’m trading my 21 versa for a Sentra next year loving these new Nissans they look amazing and are very smooth it’s nice I have a warranty because I don’t have to work on my own car 🤣
Hey America kinda sucks your stuck with the CVT, meanwhile in Canada we have the 6 speed manual for the S (base) and SR trims. A completely different Sentra with the good ole stick.......
it only blinks if you have turn signal on..it will be hell lot of distraction if it keeps beeping every other car even when you are driving 100 straight on highway.
If you get the launch right the cvt isn't supposed to shift in the altima kicks or sentra like in this video ruclips.net/video/BxK_L-c3gSQ/видео.html The rogue I'm not sure of I think that 1 still shifts regardless.
As I mentioned in my video that Nissan have done better job with their CVTs. Yours wasn’t in sport mode so I am not sure if that had to anything with it

The problem is that right now, these greedy car dealerships are adding a 3-8k markup or accessories package that u are required to purchase. Total BS and unethical. Missy Nissan dealers seem to be the only dealer that is not taking advantage of the consumer during these hard times. Kudos to Mossy in CA. There are several Mossy dealers. about to upgrade from my '04 sentra to a '22 sentra :)
Labor day weekend coming up and going to take a look great review thanks
Goodluck 😊
The msrp is on point, what's nuts is the dealership market adjustment, in some place is an additional 6-8k over the msrp.
I agree. This delaership only charging $1500-2k
Truly ridiculous, indeed. The dealership I visited this past summer was charging $8K - $10K over. They acted like this was nothing. I left and never went back.
I know a dealer in NY that's doing 250 below MSRP.. has that much changed in such a short time?
Looking for a good commuter car that’s stylish and looks luxurious and this looks like it!
Yes I agree. Very classy

Does the Adaptive cruise control work to a complete stop?
He says it does in the video.
yes It does complete stop by itself
Yes it does, I have the SR and it works on a full stop.
Is it normal for steering wheel to be a bit stiff?
yes at faster speeds the steering wheel gets tight for assistance
Hows the body is it vibrating?
In the old Nissan you would feel vibration from the engine or trans but the new ones are good. The rogue sadly still has it with the 3 cylinder engine
looks way better then the honda lol
How’s acceleration??
Very good. Unlike old Nissans
Looks like a very nice car for the class, but given my personal experience and the reputation, I'm terrified to buy another CVT Nissan.
