    If youre looking for hifi power supplies, look for medical apps stuff. Power supplies in medical enviroment NEED to be low noise, low hf emission etc, otherwise they wont be certified. Yes they are more expensive then the average 10USD brick, but you can be 100% they dont produce/introduce any or minimal self noise - and they are still cheaper then the usual "HiFi" snakeoil :-). Leicke has some medicine certified basic power supplies. But there are a few other suppliers.

    It is justified 😀
    When you have a nice enough rig it makes all the difference in the world.
    Fixing my source and power elevated my system by 50%.
    I have also a 3000 euro main rig and adding an audioquest powerquest, jitterbugs, ifi ipowers, audioquest cinnamon cables (usb, rca, optical,..) transformed my system.
    I spent 1000 euro on those things and now even when I listen systems way more expensive then mine they never deliver all the subtle nuances mine does.
    And every laugh when I say it but I can ear the difference when I change my ethernet cable : transparent.

    Hi Srboljub, and congratulations for an ever-improving audio-gear YT channel.
    For the benefit of the channel, I'm adding here *my brief conclusions after reviewing the iFi iGalvanic3.0* as it belongs to the same product family as the iUSB3.0 Nano (reviewed here) and iUSB3.0 Micro (its more expensive version). All three models share the same proprietary technology REclock2, REgenerate2, REbalance2.
    The iGalvanic3.0, when inserted in the chain between an Apple computer and a Burson Conductor 3 Performance (connected via USB) with its Burson SuperCharger high-end external PSU, it makes a significant improvement, *restoring* (this is perhaps the correct verb to use) the sound to a 3D presentation with increased depth, better instrument separation and layering, improved rhythm and transients. Exaggerating to make a point here, it's similar to listening to a mono recording and then switching to stereo.
    These products by iFi are not going to make the exact same improvement in exactly the same sound attributes to all DAC units- it depends on the DAC's USB implementation (whether it has galvanic isolation, the PPL imple,entation, etc); however, if a $1000 very well made DAC with improved PSU, like the specific Burson, benefits from iGalvanic3.0 then it's safe to assume that this product works and it does so markedly.
    Best regards.

    Just a thought would you be interested in making a video on how to get the most out of your khadas tone board. There really isn't much content on the topic. Like telling about better usb cables (the ubs cable khadas sends you fools you in to thinking it is very high quality)and different drivers that give you higher bit rates etc

    Hi, would please spare sometime to answer my question.
    I watched your review and of Topping E30 DAC and brought it to use in my.
    I also have Helix DSPMini installed in my.
    Will E30 DAC will improve the quality as DSP has inbuilt DAC to which not good as AK4493.
    Is it worth use highend DAC and then feed in low quality DAC ??
    My E30 is still in dispatch.
    Pls reply.

    USB can be filthy dirty. I have a couple of the different regenerators, not this one, they can work quite good to clean up the jitter and maybe power contamination depending. I don't know if this unit isolates and cleans the power.

    So what would you suggest instead of it?
    at the moment i am one week away from ordering the SONCOZ SGD1 500 euro and i got the Beyer Dynamic A20 400 euro Amp and Beyerdynamic DT770 pro 250 ohm
    At the moment the amp is amplifying the signal from the PC's Motherboard and let me tell you it dont sound good but i already saved 3 months to get the Soncoz and it does not have Galvanic Isolation like so many say is good

    May I ask whether one can use a USB 2.0 type-B plug to its USB input port or it only accepts that new-type taller USB 3.0 powered connector? All of my audiophile usb cables are USB type-B 2.0.

      @iiWiReviews  2 года назад

    Thinking of getting the bigger brother micro iusb. Does it come with the ifi power supply (the low noise smps)?
    Alternate options under 200$ would also be appreciated but I'll be happy to spend the big bucks for the ifi. Wonder why they discontinued the Nano.

    • @iiWiReviews
      @iiWiReviews  4 года назад

      Haven't tried micro yet, but both nano and micro are bundled with a low noise power supply - iPower. I'm currently using S/PDIF connection so I don't think I'll be testing more of these soon.

    Hi iiwi! Interesting review.. currently I have a shiit Modi 3.. im wondering if it Will be a good match? USB audio input + ifi nano iusb 3.0 + Schiit Modi 3..?
    Any thoughts? Thank you:)

    • @iiWiReviews
      @iiWiReviews  4 года назад +1

      Hi Michael. I don't see why it wouldn't be a good match. I'm just not sure that final improvement would justify the price... It depends a lot on the rest of your system too.

    • @michaelraymundo9656
      @michaelraymundo9656 4 года назад

      Hi iiWi! Yes, I agree with you on justifying the price... the ifi nano iusb is twice the price of the schiit Modi 3.. im Curious if the ifi nano can elevate the sound quality of the schiit Modi 3 with its clean power Supply and reclocked USB audio input.. Their was a review of the Modi 3 that Clean power Supply can bring the performance of the Modi 3 a notch higher..
      I have watched your review of the schiit Modi 3 and ifi nano iusb 3.0
      And it influenced me to buy the Modi 3.. I hope you can do a review about the 2 components together.
      please continue making great Videos.. thank you

    Do you think the ipurifier3 would do the exact same job for $129? My dac problem is i have small clicks and pops with my new khadas tone board.

    • @iiWiReviews
      @iiWiReviews  4 года назад

      I can't really tell as I never tried it but probably not. iPurifier3 is passive conditioner while this one is powered by a low noise power supply to completely regenerate signal.
      But neither one is helping with small clicks and pops. That's a problem with communication (driver, buffering or even cable). You should try playing a bit with player settings, buffering settings, etc. Also, factory cable from the box is rubbish. I used to have problems and even connection drops with Khadas until I changed factory supplied cable - after the change it worked like a charm.
