I had epidural because the pain was showing me shege yet labour wasn’t progressing. I had balloon catheter induction on Monday and my water broke Wednesday morning yet I didn’t dilate beyond 4cm. I developed a fever by Wednesday evening because of an infection and they had to do an emergency C-section. I was fine with the epidural, I guess. But maybe because I was on a lot of pain meds after the surgery, I may not have noticed any headache or pain.

Yes ooo women are POWERFUL, I owe that to God lol, but I was crazier for the first child ha!!! That one made me a mad shouting woman because I was induced wasnt a natural progression like Arireoluwa plus I was dilating gradually I was 1cm as at 12th August so maybe that helped my body prepare better this time

Thanks for the questions I'd try to do a separate video on hospital bag and what to pack.. In canada you do not need so much as they have almost everything you'd need.. Gowns Pads Spray bottle for mama Food Towels for shower which you can also request for . Milk fr baby Hats Diaper though it's cloth like diaper Onesies The Basic things they have them all.. However you can pack your according to preference.. However what we use here differs from naija standards For example no need for olive oil lol .... I just take my changing clothes majorly and small items for baby
That’s how I went with a whole box to the hospital and I ended up not opening it for the whole week I spent until the day we were going home that I needed to pick clothes. You really won’t need anything here in Canada. I’ve learnt for next time.

@@NurseOfela I even got cervidil and then oxytocin but nothing worked. Baby was also very big and I had preeclampsia. C-section was my best bet.
