Excellent tips, and very well presented! I've been teaching for over twenty years and still found useful information here.
Glad you enjoyed it!
Thaks for your tips. It´s my first time teching kids! It ir very stressful.
You can do it! With experience you'll be able to deal with it.
Great tips! All of them work well with teens as well.
Yes, that's a good point. I think a lot of them can be adapted for other age groups.
Hi Charlie, some really good tips! I'm wondering how one can lower TTT for young learners (ages 4-7) who cannot yet read? Thank you
Well, that's a tough one, considering the age of the students as they can't read or really speak as much as we want. I guess, the key is to lower TTT to at least give them the opportunity to fill it with some kind of language, however basic it may be.
Thank you very much.
Welcome 😊
Thanks Charlie!
Thank you for watching!!!
This video was very helpful 👍
Glad you think so!
but if you are an english teacher but our language is spanish how can we teach speking if my students are biginners no speak english
Don't avoid speaking to them in English. They have to start at some point.
Hi Charlie (: How would you suggest using class dojo with two sisters who take it as an insult when one gets more dojos than the other in a class?
Could you create a point and call it 'working together'? Award them it whenever they achieve something together, make the point value higher than any individual point, so set it to 4 or 5.
