Thank you so much for your advice! Im currently making a pressed product although instead of a pressed foundation it will be a pressed bronzer. Overall would this be a similar process? Start out with the beige color first and then gradually work to get the right color for the bronzer?
Yes it is the same process. very fascinating, loving these educational materials as a cosmetic consumer. do you press powder to cream powders in a similar way, but with lower pressure?
No, they are completely different formulas requiring very special materials and processing. You will enjoy this video: ruclips.net/video/izqaeNi5-gA/видео.html :)
Hi Belinda,Thanks for wonderful formulation ..Please could you add this pressed powder build to create cosmetic makeup app ???...if possible.. I am learning so much from your create app both of skincare and makeup. Thank you.
No we can’t, as many people don’t have the right equipment, and in any case, they don’t have the proper training or skills to be able to manipulate the formula to suit different pressures and godet size - and without this, there are too many aspects that could cause the formula to fail. You can learn how to make all sorts of pressed powders (and every other type of colour cosmetic) with our Certificate in Colour Cosmetic Formulation - also available as a study only option at half the full course price.
