Again, super helpful video! I am really glad that you emphasized that color matching should take time. Currently, in the US, we have a movement of brands trying to be more inclusive with their shade range. Which is great! The problem is that they are using that as marketing and trying to shade each other. Brands that put out 15 shades are demonized. While BIG or Small brands are coming out with 50 shades. Then one brand tried to top them all with 100. 🤦♂️🏼 People keep trying to make the argument that it is not that hard to have a diverse range but, clearly it is not. And there are so many factors that the average consumer doesn't understand! Small brands can't keep up with that. It really depends on the market that the brand is selling to. For most people looking at 100 shades of daunting!
Not to mention the commercial issues with manufacturing small runs of 100 different shades!!! I have a video on colour correcting toning agents coming out soon :)
Yes! Yes Belinda training to do makeup is required! I can’t believe someone doing it or selling makeup without proper training. I have fully enjoyed your makeup workshop and in the future I will love to take the full certificate in makeup. I definitely love your well explained videos.

I loved this video. You answered a LOT of questions I have been unable to get from other sources that "teach" making foundations. I do have a question. In another video it says that if you subscribe to make up formulations, that you can get color matching formulas? I couldn't find it on the website after I subscribed. Can someones help with that? Thank you.

Hi Belinda ..Thanks for your generous replies every time. I just wanna ask that, ?? is there any easy way to make make-up ..like I heard about hot pours, or creme set ..where i don't need grinding and still make a great compact like makeup,,, by just mixing and pouring to set....as i am very sensitive to powder ..thanks

Thanks for the video It's informative and interesting personally I think color cosmetic formulating is hard for me currently i am working on including clays in shampoos and I really appreciate if you could make a video on it if you don't mind the problem is that clays especially ghassoul clay precipitate at the bottom of the bottle I tried xanthan gum but I don't like the appearance of the product I wonder if there is a material to suspend the clay particles in the shampoo thank you so much for your informative videos
If formulating natural is important to you, you are limited in your suspending agent and surfactant choices, which would be making it harder for you. Clays and beads are VERY LARGE compared to suspending oil droplets (for example) so you need to suspend them well. Here is a video showing how to suspend beads in foaming formulas, it is similar, for you to suspend clays or glitters: ruclips.net/video/WID_L-zCk1k/видео.html or contact us if you need to learn this in more detail or want to purchase consulting time/advice, hope this helps in the meantime!

What ingredients that we can used to substitutes titanium dioxide and zinc oxide to adding level of ocupacity or level of coverage from the powder which we created...??? Thank you...!
These are the materials for opacity. You could use a white French clay instead but zinc oxide and titanium dioxide are the industry standards for their opacity. Happy formulating!

Do you mean PVA and PVP - film formers used in our industry? There are multiple grades of these polymeric materials, we only use cosmetic grades of these materials which are safe and pure for application to hair and skin. They appear to have the same INCI and chemical names but are different grades with different performances and levels of purity. Not to be confused with grades that get used in the paint or textiles industry, they are different grades.
She doesn’t wanna us to learn 100% because she is using products she uses to the industrial productivity label. So what’s the point of waste more time on this.
