Was bout to buy myself one today.
Fit well, liked the look but after I found out that there is not enough space for any communication, it went from must have to a No-Go.

I've had the original model for a couple of years now and I use it almost exclusively instead of my 'normal' open-faced and my Shoei full face.
Being able to go away for a weekend with a single helmet and be full-face for the long fast stretches, but be open-faced for the country bimbling is great.
Also I always take off the chin before taking off (or putting on) the helmet as it flexes out so you can even keep your glasses on while doing it that way.
Also I mount a GoPro to the chin guard, so can take that off and use it 'hand held' without undoing mounts completely.
There's just so many ways the removable chin is an advantage that I doubt I'll go back to full-face or normal open-face helmets.
Why would you when it's pretty much just as safe.
Oh, it is, of course, more noisy/leaky than a decent full-faced, but you could add a windjammer to the chin...

It is sad that Bell didn't take this opportunity to make additional but important improvements like exhaust vents and cutouts for intercoms. Nevertheless, it is still a pretty cool helmet.

I’ve tried all the bell range and found them to have thin and hard padding, so unless your head is the exact shape they are designed for then they are very uncomfortable. Eventually went for O’Neil for mx helmet and ls2 for road as both had thick padding than allowed my slightly bumpy head to be comfortable.

I'm new to motorcycles and I'm looking at unique but safe pieces of gear to buy, specially the helmets. I like the look of this and the scorpion exo, but I really don't care for the 3/4 helmet feature, I just like the compact nature of the helmets and particular the thinner glasses shaped visors these have. Is anyone familiar with full face helmets that look like these? I know scorpion make a full face covert helmet but that just looks like another "normal" full face to me, I want something that's more rounded and sleek like this and the exo covert.

I bought it because it has a great style but I sent it back because the tip of my nose touched the upper part of the chin bar. Annoying 😕

I've got this and an arai. I personally love the look of this, but it's slightly too big for me, unfortunately. I'm still keeping it though, gonna try and get some padding for it.

Wish the chin bar had padding to it as well and just a true full face.

I thought it said Booze at first. I'll stick with my Roof Boxer V8. The Bell is a lot cheaper, though.

I used to have a boxer … one of the most comfortable lids I have ever owned

Got an initial sci fi vibe off the looks, but it does seem very cool and practical. 👍🤪🏳️‍🌈

Yeah it's not exactly classic looking, but I like to think it's more "jet pilot" than "sci fi" ;)
