Trains Passing At Railroad Diamonds, B&O Signals Still In Use, Deshler Ohio Trains CSX Freight Train

Loaded coal train passing a huge intermodal train with a DPU at the railroad diamond! CSX main line freight train action in Deshler Ohio. The old Baltimore And Ohio Railroad color position lights are still in use and I filmed one changing from green to red! 2 trains passing at 14:25. One is a loaded coal train and the other is a huge intermodal train with distributed power unit ( DPU ) in the middle. It is getting rare to see the old style lineside signal lights still in use. These are from the Baltimore & Ohio Railroad days. I stopped here with Millenniumforce to film a few trains. At first it seemed dead but right when I was getting ready to leave there were at least 6 trains that came through! The mixed freight that I filmed going by the CPLs was headed southbound. Just look at all the historic railroad buildings that are near the diamond. The best part is that this is a railfan park at the diamond with a shelter, picnic tables and a scanner so you can listen to the trains. There are a lot of trains that pass by here everyday and the east/west tracks are the busiest. I filmed the CSX trains, a high rail truck, the signals changing as the train passed and I filmed the main street in town to show what the area looks like. I doubt that these old CPLs will be in use much longer since they are all being replaced nation wide with the Safe Tran signals. Comment below if you know of an area that still uses the old style lineside signals. I want to film more of them before it is too late. Filmed on June 24, 2020 AD.
