I remember the actor who played Richard Hillman saying that a little old lady started hitting him with her handbag, in a supermarket, after that episode aired😆 Edit: misspelling
I heard the same thing about the actor who played Alan Bradley (the man who tormented Rita Fairclough and stole the deeds to her house). If both stories are true, poor fellas, getting clobbered by old ladies! 😁
fun fact right Nick Cotton died at the same place as Reg Cox died in the very first episode of EastEnders he was also killed by Nick Cotton as he wanted his war medals to sell for drugs.
What about breda McQueen, she killed all of the bad fathers, kidnapped Tony and Mercedes, manipulated the whole village and she's also a worst mother to Goldie and sylver!
And Mac Nightingale who was ironically killed by Breda. He bullied, beaten and tried to kill his son James for being gay. He got James raped by forcing him to have sex with a woman to make him “straight” which caused him to get Donna pregnant with Romeo. Manipulated Ellie and Alfie. Killed Nathan and Neeta.
Maddie Morrison - Hollyoaks should have been on this list. The ringleader of a gang of a bullies who tormented Esther Bloom to no end! She was killed off by an explosion bus door that was tampered by Bart McQueen in the Enjoy the Ride arc.
@Mark Lynn Nah they were fake hardmen , Karl hid behind his dads money while Hunter was a mummies boy playing with a gun, only the real rebels go on this list.
Cameron was the best thing about emmerdale back then. This is maybe a controversial opinion but I was annoyed when they killed him. Would’ve preferred if he went on the run, so he was kinda always out there
Seem to be a theme of abusive men meeting gruel Death i wish Geoff had just gone to prison the roof stunt was stupid. Phelon was best death cause it was Anna who did itn
This is how @WatchMojoUK should have done the list of "Top 10 Most Satisfying Soap Villain Deaths" in the end; #1 = Pat Phelan - [Coronation Street] #2 = Brenda McQueen - [Hollyoaks] #3 = Archie Mitchell - [EastEnders] #4 = Cameron Murray - [Emmerdale] #5 = Alan Bradley - [Coronation Street] #6 = Yusef Khan - [EastEnders] #7 = Geoff Metcalfe - [Coronation Street] #8 = Ray Mullan - [Emmerdale] #9 = Carl White - [EastEnders] #10 = Graham Clark - [Emmerdale] EXAMPLE #0 = Imelda Clough - [Brookside]
Always loved "Hello Ma!" Fun fact my wife is called Mar. Her name is Maria Del Mar and she's Spanish and uses the Mar part of her name! It was our 20th anniversary yesterday!
They really dropped the ball with Richard Hillman. They should never have found the body so that "Fail Platt" would be living in fear in years and allowing him to return
I have to be honest, I don't really watch soap operas, apart from EastEnders, which is why I decided to view this video. With that said, I shall always remember Richard Hillman's death in Coronation Street. Speaking of which, it would've been awesome to include Joe Donelli's death and I believe that was Shane Rimmer's character.
Edward's death was not satisfying at all, it was mega shit. And Geoff should have went up in flames but COVID prevented the stunts so we'll let that one slide.
@@mr_archer44 I liked it at first till it dragged on. But lets be honest, it wasn't really his own fault. His downfall came because of pure convenience.
Alan Bradley should have featured, esp with actor Mark Eden having passed away recently. Richard Hillman was too much of a panto villain really, whereas Alan became a real psychopath!
Geoff’s death wasn’t satisfying bc he didn’t pay for what advise he put his ex girlfriend’s through. My sister has a controlling boyfriend and people like this don’t simply just die, so unrealistic
Yes he shouldn t have died like that off the roof he got away with it what he done to Yasmeen. He should have rotted in prison like you said. He wasn t shown up for what he was. I know it s only a soap but they should have shown justice for real life victims/abusers. So no his wasn t the best death.
Archie Mitchell a big miss on this list. Nick's wasn't satisfying cos he was a great character imo. More sad really cos of his last scene with Dot where he was remorseful. Also, Trevor's wasn't that satisfying because his brother Tom died with him and i think Tom was nice if i remember it right.
Sad to see a precious cello in the hands of a git like Edward, the poor cello (not to mention that git's victims!) deserved better! Yes, greetings from an upset cellist XD
And how come there are no deaths from the now defunct soap Family Affairs on the list, was it because of copyright issues from Channel 5 (the channel Family Affairs was shown on) or something?
Interesting but it is illegal to repost parts of films without the original creators permission also the one where stevo got trapped in a car it seems like the baby also died with him Which is even more sad
Oh dear... Where to start... Pat and Geoff's deaths are more disappointing as appose to satisfactory... Because neither of their storylines had satisfactory conclusions given they had both dragged on too long for a 6 episode a week soap... If it hadn't been for the pandemic there could of been a better outcome, but Geoff's death was rushed out immediately after Yasmeens ordeal... Fair play to Michael McIntyres acting though it was easily predictable on the Pat storyline and it's outcomes... They were both given a cowards way out written format... and no end is in sight of this either... Characters will continue to get tied up in false charges and prison time and the villians get away with it till they get axed off... It made a good soap then... It no longer does now, and for once, it be decent to see a serial killer or cartoon villians put behind bars for a change... Still... If the soaps can't admit those police and prison sets are inexpensive to reuse... Expect more of the predicable until we actually get surprised...
Maddie in Hollyoaks is another one. There was something so satisfying about seeing a bully getting flattened by a flying minibus door
Just when i didn’t care about holly oaks, I’ve learnt that someone drove off a cliff and a person got flattened…l
Rule 1 of British soaps - Someone must die at Christmas.
Not for Eastenders this year apparently, but it was a close one.
Or at a wedding
Yep
@@lucthughes6377 To be fair, Ian Beale can't die. He's one of or only original one left.
@@lucthughes6377 Tina died
I'll admit to cheering and clapping and punching the air when Geoff died. I also felt good about Phelan FINALLY getting his comeuppance.
I remember the actor who played Richard Hillman saying that a little old lady started hitting him with her handbag, in a supermarket, after that episode aired😆
Edit: misspelling
I heard the same thing about the actor who played Alan Bradley (the man who tormented Rita Fairclough and stole the deeds to her house). If both stories are true, poor fellas, getting clobbered by old ladies! 😁
same happend to the actor who played trevor morgan
What about
Den Watts - EastEnders
Archie Mitchell - EastEnders
Breda McQueen - Hollyoaks
Callum Logan - Coronation Street
Lindsey Butterfield - Hollyoaks
Mac Nightingale - Hollyoaks
Den was mentioned at beginning
No soap opera villain will ever top Brian Capron as Richard Hillman, never in a million years!
"You should've stayed at the party, Maxine."
Not really a hardnut though
Best line of a killer in British soap ever imo
I was surprised it was only 8
Yes!
I completely agree. Richard Hillman's storyline and death is the best in soap history. 😀
Richard's, "I LOVE YOU!" still cracks me up 😂
It’s hilarious i love you! while he’s got her and her children tied up in a car and is about to drive it into the water.😂💀
The song is so ironic 😆
@@meganwilliams7434it’s the way it’s delivered lol so camp!!
fun fact right Nick Cotton died at the same place as Reg Cox died in the very first episode of EastEnders he was also killed by Nick Cotton as he wanted his war medals to sell for drugs.
That's karma for you, well actually for Nick
Alex Ferns played Trevor so well. He used to scare me
@Mark Lynn He was very good definitely. He was GORGEOUS to look at and seemed to have it all together but behind closed doors he was EVIL
Breda redeemed herself a little by killing Mac, both of their deaths were good to watch though
That's one soap - hollyoaks, that I could never watch.
@@PaulaABurnham she was also killed by her own son sylver in the end.
@@willhuey4891 who wasn't even her real son 😆
Maddie Morrison - Hollyoaks should have been on this list. The ringleader of a gang of a bullies who tormented Esther Bloom to no end! She was killed off by an explosion bus door that was tampered by Bart McQueen in the Enjoy the Ride arc.
Honourable mention: Archie Mitchell from Eastenders.
It was true poetic justice that Geoff died surrounded by the chickens, after he killed Yasmine's favourite one and fed it to her.
I remember cheering at the deaths of Geoff (Corrie) and Edward (Hollyoaks)
We all cheered at Geoff's death. Yazmeen didn't deserve that abusive relationship.
@@ethanch3011 did you do the same with Edward’s death?
I get this list, I even understand the placement too. Good job WatchMojo Uk, you did a really good job!
Cameron Murray 🐐
How he isn’t number 1 is beyond me
What about Den Watts and Archie Mitchell?
Den watts no
Archie's death was great though.
@Mark Lynn Nah they were fake hardmen , Karl hid behind his dads money while Hunter was a mummies boy playing with a gun, only the real rebels go on this list.
The clip right at the start is Den
They were old though
I actually cheered when Anna killed Pat Phelan. I was relieved the storyline was over after what felt like 15 years.
Cameron was the best thing about emmerdale back then. This is maybe a controversial opinion but I was annoyed when they killed him. Would’ve preferred if he went on the run, so he was kinda always out there

Saddest Break Ups in British Soaps next please x
Aww, you left out Trevor's iconic final words. "We live to fight another day."
The cursed families in Soaps
Coronation Street: The Platt Family
Emmerdale: The Dingle Family
Eastenders: The Mitchell Family
I didn't really want Nick to die, he was an interesting character
@Mark Lynn He was decent early on, they ruined him.
Awesome video
I have to be honest, I don't really watch soap operas, apart from EastEnders, which is why I decided to view this video. With that said, I shall always remember Richard Hillman's death in Coronation Street. At least Geoff finally came first at something!
HAHAHAH
Thats funny yasmeen
This comment wins for me! 😂😂
HAHA
I loved it when Geoff Metcalfe died but I was more worried about the chicken he just missed falling from the roof
It’s only a show lmao worried her a life
Richard Hillman was the ultimate soap villan, shame they killed him off, he could of got rid of some boring characters on the street
I knew people who didn't even watch Corrie end up watching the Richard Illman storyline!
Edward's death was not satisfying at all, it was mega shit. And Geoff should have went up in flames but COVID prevented the stunts so we'll let that one slide.
The could have used CGI.
Seriously? Edward being the downfall of himself is mega shit?
You probably just hated the Edward storyline
@@mr_archer44 I liked it at first till it dragged on. But lets be honest, it wasn't really his own fault. His downfall came because of pure convenience.

I would have thought Alan Bradley would be on the list too. I cheered when he went under that tram!
Bully Maddie getting spattered with the car door final destination style in Hollyoaks didn’t even get a mention? For shame.
Cameron from emmerdale is one of my favorite characters ever
Wouldn't say Trevor's death was satisfying since he took Tom with him
Alan Bradley?
Archie Mitchell?
Oh yes
Jim Fenner - Bad Girls
Trevor Morgan was one of the greatest villains.. truly scary
01:31 Silent night song
Although Martin Kemp's character was evil I cried when that car exploded
I hated Geoff so much. He made watching Corrie a bit difficult for me i just cant stand that bloke
Trevor Jordache's actor is now in the Irish soap Fair City
I wonder if Edward's death (Hollyoaks) is on this list? EDIT : it is
Geoff’s death wasn’t satisfying bc he didn’t pay for what advise he put his ex girlfriend’s through. My sister has a controlling boyfriend and people like this don’t simply just die, so unrealistic

Trevor Morgan was a great villain. The actor who played him will make an appearance in the new Batman movie as Gotham PD Commissioner Pete Savage.
He also starred in the TV show Chernobyl as the head miner.
Hr was also Moriarty in Sherlock I think 😊
I remember watching the Tony brain tumor storyline
I cheered when Phelan died and I cheered when Geoff died 🤣👍
What about Val from Emmerdale??? That one made my day!!!
Dot cotton died last year
Can't hear that song from Richards death without thinking of Corrie
I hope watchmojo uk does a still game top 10 list
If you would call Waterloo Road a soap what about Tom Clarkson or Denzil or Sam literally anyone who has died
The Villains are not like this in soaps now
Breda McQueen from hollyoaks?
Kinda surprised there isn't any bill villains on here
That’s what I was thinking too because of Todd Carry’s character!
True - I cheered when Tom Chandler and Eddie Santini departed. I think the Bill has been gone for so long only us diehard fans remember it!

I reckon the order for the Coronation Street villains should've been Phelan then Geoff then Richard.
I thought the thumbnail was Roy Hodgson 🤣🤣🤣
they got that brooky clip from youtube, i watched it about a week ago.
Soaps make it look like guns are easy to obtain in the UK
It's not just me that thinks that. I know right it's quite unrealistic because a gun is virtually impossible to get your hands on in UK. 😀
But where's Piers, Phil and Holly?? 😧😧

Archie Mitchell on eastenders

Geoff
I can’t remember if they found Richards body if they didn’t then he could always come back! 😬
They did, he's stone cold dead
We saw it and Gail and Audrey identified Richard's body
Ah ok thanks. :)
Dirty den dead in real life though
yes geoff was the worst glad they got rid
Geoff over Richard?
That's what I thought too. Richard Hillman should've been number one. 😀
the gugy who played edward huchinson would make a good docotr
EDWARD NEEDS TO BE NUMBER 1... EDWARD IS ICONIC AND I AM THE ONLY PERSON ON EARTH THAT IS SAD THAT HE IS GONE
