A pen with lots of potential. Injection-molded for a lower price point. I see it having a lot of satisfied users. We have a different perspective as we compare it to other great pens. If this was our only pen, we'd be happy with it.
Solid review. Do let us know when you try another ink, if you like the pen/nib better. And if you can change the nib out with another. I do like medium nibs better. I love the facets. Thanks, Aaron.
Just ordered one yesterday and looking forward to it. I think the spring and frosted plastic look...sub-optimal. but I think the rose gold and facets are awesome!
Thank you, Aaron. A very fair appraisal of the Natami Inception. I will give this pen a miss. At 11:00 in your video the pen does not look very long. I have fairly large hands and find the Pilot Metropolitan too small. If only the Natami could be securely posted I might be interested. Sadly it's not quite right for me.
The Wing Sung 699 nib fits and writes well - with enough room in the cap. Interestingly, the Inception feed is the same as Moonman #6. Moonman nib however doesn't fit the Inception.
Waterman brown is not for every pen. Waterman brown is a lovely ink... But it is a picky ink. It is wet and flows quite nicely but just don't feel right in many pens.
May I ask what made the pen not so "worth" when compared to the other pens in the end? Is it the nib, or how it writes? Still though, pen looks well made, I am seriously interested lol.
It was just the nib for me. The pen overall is nice and is an attractive piece. The nib did not set itself apart and I dont gravitate towards the pen. I'm not excited when I write with it. Bare in mind this is all feelings and just because I dont get excited does not mean you will not like it. I will do a follow up review at some point after I tinker with the pen some more
@@aaronspenvideos4420 Ahh as I feared, it does look like it's weak on the nib side as the writing sample looked too dry / boring. Last question though, what about the body of the pen, is it "hefty" like, holding a more expensive pen? I have the m100 in the same color, as much as I like everything, I feel like it's too light? But yeah, I don't really judge a pen hard by its nib nowadays, since you can pretty much tinker with it / replace it. But the body of the pen though, you can't change that, like... how it feels in your hand and such.
@@estoylaroca its weight is 26g inked so it feels nice and solid. You could almost argue the pen body feels a little better than the 3776. The barrel thickness is solid, just remember it does not really post.

I know. I feel like I may have done this review off the way the pen makes me feel. It just did not wow me for some reason.
I would like to try one but the deal breaker is a proprietary nib that I can not replace or change out.

I saw on scrivinor that you could swap out a wingsung 626 nib. I may tinker with it and try some different nibs and do a follow up review.

I honestly felt bad giving it the review that I did, but the pen does not excite me. There are just so many better pens right now in my opinion.

Aaron, WHAT is your opinion of the Karas Kustom fountain k? They are having a close out for 40.00 for one. Do these pen have a cap liner?
I honestly don't own one. I know there pens have great quality. You may check with @chrisrap52 as I know he owns a few.
