Love seeing a photographer who loves a brand not be completely tied to it. You’ve still been able to put out the same style with the LUMIX and it shows it’s the photographer and not the gear. Excited to see your next venture into Fuji and I completely agree about the community, the Fuji love is real. I sold my H2 to switch back to Sony, but I still have an X-T3 I’ll switch back to and use when I feel like using something more fun and less sterile. New mic is sounding solid Jason! Watching you is getting me tempted to start my own channel.
Thank you so much! You should defently give it a go and start a channel. It is a ton of fun, and I think RUclips is a great place to share photos and thoughts.
I'm still using an X-T3. It's a great camera, but I don't really shoot any video yet. I have played a bit with video using the 18-55 and it did a pretty nice job. I just shot in one of the film sims. I may consider the X-S20 since it has the same sensor but upgraded processor, battery and IBIS. Two things that hold me back are the single card slot and no dials. But, we'll see what happens. I won't be ready to do anything for a while. Thanks for the overview. Have a great week!
I thought about buying a X-S20 and keeping the X-T4 until I got a deal on the Lumix. I’ve heard great things about that camera, and the X-T3 is still a great camera. The battery is best thing about the X-T4.
I have been using an XT2 for 7 years now and don’t think I need an upgrade anytime soon unless it breaks. The lenses make this a great system. Even I am thinking I would replace it with an xpro if needed
@@ordinaryhunter i have the 35 mm F2 which is quite good. My favorite is the 16mm F1.4 even though i am not a wide angle lens shooter. It is so great and almost a macro lens.
I too just parted ways with my X-T4 like two days ago. It's a bittersweet feeling but I've been using my X-Pro3 a lot more and used the funds to buy some Fuji lenses and some CF cards 😅
DPreview's lab test samples seem to show that an X-S20 has ISO performance similar to a Canon R6 Mark II.. a FULL FRAME sensor. Am I imagining things or do Fuji's really perform THAT WELL at high ISO?
The XT4 is still my primary driver (especially for the channel) I really like it, but I'd be lying if I said it was perfect for everything I want. You ever mess with the X100F?? That's one of my favorite cameras ever. Might fit your needs!! Not gonna lie, the Lumix cameras having open gate is very attractive for me lol. But to quote meatwad, I ain't got no damn money. Lol.
I’ve had a F and V, but sold both like a fool before prices went crazy. I’m really thing the X-E4 is what I need with a Voigtlander 35mm lens. It would be nice and small with a manual lens. Also, I can’t recommend the Lumix enough. It really is fantastic, and if you catch it on sale like me, I basically got two lenses for $200ish.
@@ordinaryhunterI love my little X-E4 with 27mm. It’s the perfect walk around camera. Though I do have big hands and adding the thumb grip and a small wooden foregrip helped with grip-ability
@@InvertChaos3 I've heard that it was hard to hold on to, because of how small it is. I've never held one, so I have a feeling I would be surprised by its size. I think it's smaller than I realize which would be a good thing.
@@ordinaryhunter makes sense, I'm a former lumix shooter but moved to Sony when lumixs full frame system still wasn't up to par. I really like some of the unique lenses Sony has and can't see myself leaving anytime soon

FujiFilm lenses are really great and underrated. I loved my 35mm f/1.4 lens. It was slow and had a few flaws, but that is what made it so good.

Nice! I bought a X-T3 for $600 and a used 50-140mm in 2022 to shoot varsity hockey and love it!
Awesome, the X-T3 is still a great camera, and it's a no-brainer for that price.
@@ordinaryhunterFor sure. Right before prices on those spiked

thats so interesting cause i am just so disappointed by the s5 ii for photography. its a brillant camera for video but for photo it is just weird
Great camera.
Dude. another chill video. Dig it! My mom likes my videos too!
Did you consider an XH2 or a7iv instead of the s5ii?
I consider both of those, but I felt the S5 met both my needs and budget. Their lens deal is what pushed me over the edge.

Hoping the X100V will be sold again!
Me too! They need to do something, but part of me thinks they are already making the next version and trying to get ahead of demand for the next one.
Surprised you didn’t consider the xs20
Man lol at the Leica joke
