It’s more of a consequences of printing crazy late game cards imo. Because cards are too good late game, players try and find ways to win before those cards are played, and if you try to beat these aggressive decks, you get steamrolled late game.

Here's the real question: Will it be mass buffs for Perils cards, or mass nerfs for Whizbang and Bandlands cards? I would hope for the buffs but with Team 5's track record it will probably just be mass nerfs again :(
I generally agree with you… buffs for weaker decks feel better than just straight up killing cards because they are used in a busted combo or something… But in this case I wouldn’t mind more nerfs to bring down the power creep a little but at least…
I mostly agree with this. With exceptions for a few cards mainly druid cards most of dragons need a nerf of some kind and their ramp needs to go up a mana each at least.
Blizzard main problem is the monetization, sometimes I like to buy some packs or cosmetics but having to pay 50 dollars for them? That's a complete game, and the "cheaper" ones are the standard packs that if you're lucky you'll get an epic at best. And the battle pass doesn't give any good gameplay benefits besides more XP for when you reach the +100 level
Y agreed. Only pre bundle is rlly worth it, but 80 euros... To expensive to buy every 4 months. It's really hard to get specific legendaries. Spending 20 euros gives 20 packs and 2 random legendaries, not enough to craft specific legendaries.
As a fairly high legend player i can say most of this is fairly accurate. Hs in my opinion needs to stop pushing the fast game mentality they shouldn't ever be as fast as marvel snap they need to stop trying to be. Theirs room for fast games and slower games but hs is trying to be to fast which means cards end up to strong.
The problem with tourists are that they dont' have a big enough impact, and that they have a limited number of cards to choose from in the touring class.
I am struggling to enjoy the game anymore. I am only playing 2 or three days a week, and that is only to do my quests. It is feeling more like a chore than a game. When most games are determined by turn 5, what is the point? This is why I stopped playing MTG:Duels. Why should I chase my collection when I never get to see or play with over half my deck in a game?
This is the earliest I ve started saving Gold for the upcoming mini set... Total indifference towards the card set for me. Using a couple different midrange decks for Standard, and mostly playing BGs
I think a big problem leading to this is a lack of mass/impactful nerfs from the past set or two, so the new legends are not as strong by comparison, also some of the cards are just ass, and the tourist mechanic isn’t a big, meta warping mechanic like colossals and titans
Is there anything wrong with the legendary cards? Or is the real problem that half the time games end before you even could have the mana to play them or that win conditions one shot people so value is irrelavent?
Played since open beta, quit after the Nathria mini set. Came back to the game just after umpires grasp nerf but now I’ve decided to quit again. Not happy with the direction things seem to be going in; I won’t be missed and there’s still plenty to enjoy in the game for those that stay.
aranna is so bad but allows adding 2 1 mana 2/4 to the deck which is huge for aggro afk is actually pretty good... when generated by razzle dazzler - some cards shouldn't be able to be dropped by packs, oh and guess who got 2 copies of 6/6 EPIC pirate within first 20 packs
After you your last video I purchased a card pack. Nothing cosmetic though. That doesn't interest me at all. The current corpsicle rainbow buttons deck is really fun to play.
It determines. Legends have been good , since the begining , you have added 2 classes. Force players to buy new cards and recycled the old gods essntally 2.5 times . Power creep is awful
It’s crazy how the game is so aggro centric. Like they make significantly less money from these cheap agro decks being playable than if slower decks were meta.
No new trailer, board or music makes the theme boring, no new keyword, mechanics or archetypes makes gameplay boring and to top it all weekly quest grind forces players to engage more than the theme and mechanics have new content, burning out players while pumping out more and more samey overpriced cosmetics.
looking at the wild brawl game where a cheater with jaraxxus hero losing to rogue explained to me why everytime I open hearthstone I can't really play anything, because there is no useful thing to play anymore in this game, its just 5% broken cards that wins and 95% useless cards that has no synergy.
This standard meta makes me sad while playing because as a f2p hunter I can't enjoy it but I'm patiently waiting for the patch. If we play the meta for 2 weeks or more with no changes I think I'll delete this game.
The Big Spell Mage deck is obliterated by the elemental mage deck. The strongest mage deck is a deck that has no spells! The end of Hearthstone approaches!!

blizzard is LAZY...they could easily make more cards playable by adjusting them...they just don't want to...or it's an ego thing where the devs want certain decks viable because they came up with the cards

Druids just needed 2 days to realize they are not so weak.. and it is still hard to find a counter for Lamplighter and Conc.. not even +5 mana cost to minions helps because it is too easy to get 1 mana cost elemental.. I stil say the problem is the same.. not the new cards basically... but the old cards.. Reno, OTK, Aggro, Removers, Boomboss, Brann.. and endless resource generating which become even worse since Tidepool Pupil created.. The new expansion just created more problems then before.. thats all.. The hidden unfair mechanics behind the cards which are killed the fun.. Next year card rotation is the only hope for this game I think... when most of these disappear. By the way, if Blizzard wants to stil focus on making more money.. why do they still release childish and lame hero skins? Who needs these? I think it's incredible that a game with over 20 years of existence, the mage has never had a strong legendary card! I'll give you a suggested effect: "For the rest of the game, each time you cast a spell, summon an elemental of the same cost."
It's a bummer AFKay is a bad card. People who purchase the tavern pass have the right to feel a bit scammed. Sir Finley, Blademaster Samuro, Velarok, Rommath were awesome cards, jepetto is somewhat playable with tendril deck, but AFKay is a complete dead card.
Why would the players want to lose anything in their game to a company that makes BILLIONS? They are not losing money, they are missing monetary income targets quarterly. Tell the stock holders to sit down and STFU. This is not a loss, this is business in general. They can do better than to take away from us to give to themselves. Blizzard needs to get creative and release old paradigms. As to my card collection, I have all the current cards in Standard.

We're finally at a point where there are more Hearthstone viewers than there are Hearthstone players.
This is what happens when you make your game revolve around blowing up your opponent on turn 5-6. Most cards just become unplayable.

just combine her with devouer of souls and adaptive amalgam. and gigling toymaker for board spawn

The tourist are not popular because of the actual effect, instead because of you can play with cards from another class.
The mindset and future expansions usually stir things up and make use of some of these legendaries. Its bad advice to tell us to dust them now.

Problem is legendary cards have become package anchors for new archetype in each set. And every new archetype proposed this expansion aren't very good
