As someone who grew up in those times where these elite Dragon Ball Z games were coming out for the PS1, PS2 and PS3 (2007/burst limit), god I had so much fun.
Man… I’ll never forget getting my second ps2 game being BT1. Fortunately, one of my grandparents house, my brother had the GameCube. And I was playing Budokai 2, Z Sagas… man I can go on
there is a story line where broly in Budokai 3 is frm future trunks time. theres a line in the game left behind that gohan says trunks warned them about broly. witch is odd. the fact broly DBZB3 is technically Future Broly is fun to think about
i used to mod budokai 3/infinite world, and i remember being so livid when i discovered, in budokai 3's files, that all the what-if characters of B2 were planned to be in it, alongside a story mode for EVERY CHARACTER. the game's text is mostly stored as image files, and you could find all the story ending text referring to characters that didn't have it. what clued me in on this was adult gohan referencing that future trunks warned them about broly... when the event referenced wasn't present anywhere in the game except in the text files for future trunks' story mode, where you would have faced future broly and later he'd warn the z fighters about broly in their timeline. the model of 1st form freeza in his floating chair that you showed off in the video here would have been used for freeza's Dragon Universe, specifically where he flies above the map. other cool stuff included: super buu fighting gogeta, saibamen rebelling against nappa and vegeta, vegito vs kid buu...etc. it's been 10+ years since i made that discovery and i still curse the deadline that caused all those cuts from b3 cause it genuinely would have been one of the most content-rich games the series has gotten edit: if you're curious how to access these files, you need to extract the .AFS archives from the game iso and use AFSExplorer and another tool i forget the name of (it's used to mod PES games iirc, and will allow you to see the textures) to open up the archives and look through the content. as for the evidence of the budokai 2 characters, you can find it by opening the file "SLUS_209.98" in a text editor like HxD, and scroll down till you start seeing the character names being listed. this file specifically controls what models from the AFS archives are loaded into what slot on the select screen, including alternate outfits, i recall messing with it and figuring out how to switch the scouter glass models to different characters. (for example i would replace the scouter glass file with super saiyan 3 gotenks' hair model from budokai 2 and apply it to raditz's model, mod his regular hair color to match it and viola: super saiyan raditz. but anyway, to not go on a tangent, in that file you will find that the budokai 2 characters are named in the code but do not refer to any address in the archive files to load models. this could be remnants of budokai 2 code since it's safe to assume they simply built upon that game as a base to make the 3rd iteration. BUT if i remember correctly, budokai 2's equivalent file did not include cut content in the transition from budokai 1 like dodoria or zarbon, but budokai 3 did have those two listed as well, which is what led me to believe the plan was to include all the featured characters in b1 and 2 in 3, but alas... it never happened
@@Tanozzo they should technically be able to swap into budokai 3 with 0 issue, but you have to adjust the textures and shading to match the B3 style since they render shading in a different blending mode between the two games. also any saiyans who transform in budokai 2 have their heads separated from the body model so that just the eyes and head change while the rest of the model remains the same, budokai 3 does not have that since each form has different shading textures (manga style in b2 vs anime style in b3) like i explained in my comment you can use the budokai 2 hair models and replace the scouter model file on some b3 characters.

Guldo, Burter and Jeice were also set to appear in Budokai 3 alongside Recoome and Captain Ginyu but were cut for unknown reasons (possibly due to time constraints). It would’ve been interesting to see what they would’ve looked like in that game, though.
5:25 Ignoring Xenoverse's netcode they would have probably done something stupid like have the deflected beams still retain their damage making fights even worse as an ally could probably get hit by them. Or doing one of the numerous Parallel Quests that require keeping some NPC alive, NPCs that usually had suicidal AI who would now probably also intentionally fly into the path of those deflections.

Unfortunately she doesn’t have one ..she doesn’t have any attacks . She didn’t make it that far into development . The only way you can show her attacking at all is with a model swap .
