    Quite the set up you’ve got! How many mushrooms can you produce in a flush?

      I likely average around a 1/4 to 1/2 pound per log and they flush 2 -3 times a year.

    Log of which tree species is used? Can a Log other than oak be used?

      As far as I know, hardwoods are very usable. I know that Maples can be used for sure. You'll have to look into it yourself beyond that. Softwood trees cannot be used.

    the only shaded area in my backyard is near where the dogs poop, is that acceptable given i would keep it as clean as possible?
