Greetings from Oklahoma! Well done, I've been enjoying your channel. I must say your cap is fantastic, been looking for a good one for a while. Do you know where to find a decent one similar? Cheers!
OMG! Look what you’ve done to those poor defenseless animals 🫵 murderer! 🤣🤣🤣 your videos kick ass brother…thanks for sharing your experiences and methods, I know I’ve learned a bunch and I enjoy going along for the adventures as well.
Great vid -- thanks for the inspiration on the box design for the trap -- I bought a 'Bridger 110' body-grip trap to use in the woods here, and made a 'sliding lid' design of a box, similar to the one you have there. Brilliant -- thanks for putting these videos out! Cheers from the USA!
Alan T hey man, thanks for watching and following along 👍 I can’t take any credit for the box design, that’s just how you can buy them, but they’re great things those body-grip traps! 👌🏻
Hi wayne Nice one mate enjoyed that superb shooting on the duck and partridge great stuff I love my fenn traps lethal on rats etc and them squirrel traps are the dogs nuts you will get plenty with them Thanks for that wayne gonna watch it again now atvb chris
Some mighty fine shooting Wayne just goes to show what true hunting set up can do over distance and them shots you took was a good distance , top shooting , and trapping is a good sport to get into but I'd recommend a pair of gloves for when handling your traps , Top video as always Wayne
Ahhh , this was so good wyane, I watch a lot lot of stuff that comes from our shores about catapult shooting , hunting and just foraging, catch and cook stuff, that was raising the bar for more me , that was so good, must have been so hard to film all that and then edit it, And hey Iam waiting for that new cattie to come out!! at the the mo I shoot the gzk - hrh combo but still a little small in my hand, so looking forward for release date , great video anyway👍👍👍
MAN OF KENT HORNET thanks mate 👍 I’m very new to trapping, but it definitely seems to be more than capable. I spoke to a few keepers first who highly recommended them too.
@@CattyShackHunter Traps and snares work 24,7 easy meat, just got to check em regularly, as you already know, ol Reynard has an anoying knack of getting there first. 👍👍
Barry Baker thank you Barry. I’ve read various things such as, how can you ensure that Stoats won’t be caught in them without outlawing this type of trap completely? It’ll be illegal to catch a Stoat in, therefore you can’t legally set the traps because you can’t guarantee not catching a Stoat. I guess we’ll have to wait and see what happens 👍
Amazing shots dude. The ones to the duck in the wood with not clear sight was awesome. Can I ask you what kind of ammo and its weight you used? Thanks for share💪🏻
@@CattyShackHunter Wow. It's a plesesure watching those shots, I do belive you can kill even at 50 meters with that ammo. Great shots, greater shoter, also are amazing those squirrel traps, so efficient 💪🏻. Hope you put a new video soon. Cheers mate
Hi Wayne. I'm new to catapult shooting and will soon be buying an OTT catapult with 20-30mm 18mm thick Grade A Multiplex bands. I was just wondering If you could give me some advice on what would a good all rounder ammo. Mainly for target to start with and then moving on to some small game hunting when I get better after lots of practice. Thanks 👍
Looking to get into catapult hunting myself. No experience whatsoever in it. What would be a good catapult to start with? Main targets being magpies and crows
Don’t be hunting anything at all until you confident you can hit say a 50mm spinner a good 8/10 time’s from a hunting distance of realistically 15/20 meters and beyond. Not until your confident in yourself and your shot should you be hunting. However, catty shack (google it) has perfect stater kits on the website including slingshot, bands, ammo and more all in one cheap but very high quality package. Don’t let this take the fun from it I still get a buzz every time I hit a spinner let alone say a rabbit or squirrel. Anyway hope this helps and happy shooting.
Tip Next time leave your straps outside they are new en your hand smells all that disappear wen you leave your traps outside old one's they are the best
Can't go wrong with those bmi's, Yanks use them in alsorts of ways we're not allowed, even sticking them out fish, I like the 116's, legal for rabbits here and they fold down nicely, although fenns if you set them but on the safety lay nice and flat in a game pocket or bag too
@@CattyShackHunter put the nerves up me first time I blindly put my hand into my pocket knowing I had two set mk6's in there but they can be knocked about a bit being held by the safety, I think you'd have to lean pretty hard to get them to open up enough to slip the catch, obviously I wouldn't recommend it especially as getting them off your fingers without help is not easy at all, the bmi's aren't bad to get off you alone though and don't hit as hard, wouldn't fancy it with the double spring ones though
Another great video but the sound is very low and spoils it a little. Anyway still enjoyable and good stuff, keep em coming. Wish I was half as good as you with a catty. Awesome mate

bill bob it would really all depend on the speed you’re able to get with your own set-up to be honest. Where I hit it, yes most likely it would, but an inch or two lower and into the neck, I’d say no.
@@CattyShackHunter thx again pal would you say your waight lifting helps with your shooting as your set up is a bit on the heavy side for me might need to get the old dumbbells out lol
bill bob haha! Yeah I would say it most likely does. I think where most people fail to be accurate with a heavy set up is grip strength on the pouch end, and not using a straight wrist shooting style.
