      It definitely doesn’t. I’ve zoomed in, slow mo’d and analysed this before posting lots of times haha. When the ball is about 2 feet away, (you can see it on the film) the rabbits back legs moves, the head stays in exactly the same place 👍

      @@CattyShackHunter Ho okay well im not the expert you are Wayne and i see what you mean there so quick they hear everything that was another amazing shot .ive done very well on your elevation tuition got a pigeon tree top shot ''So many thanks for that the other day with both pigeon and squirrels one at 30 feet the other only 17 feet away but direct kill head shots i put the meat in the freezer i tried to get a rabbit but i need some tips on ground shots because its something im doing wrong maybe'' can i be cheeky ? and ask you to give a utube lesson on ground shots close to the ground at the same distance as you rabbit shots.. im hoping to get my daughters to get me a Goblet Evo in stainless steel without clamps soon as i feel the weight is a great help to me with steadying the shot as i have both plastic , wood and steel Catties but i realised when i took the pigeon down that it was that extra little weight helping. ive also had a pheasant high up at 50 feet with the steel catty last year head shot with 9 mm steel but ive now upgraded myself to your suggested 11mm and it fantastic '' thats what i got the last pigeon with but having said that the wasp i customized the grip in plastic milliput to fit my hand and i had three squirrels with that and that was with 9mm steel and 1mm thick bands . so im not bad but like everyone i miss quite a few times but thanks Wayne your tuition is really great ill be watchin out for more of your films

    Good snaring tips and well explained where to place the snare. New ergo EVO looks cool - it looks fatter then the Black Knight's 15mm? Looks like a good grip and still be pocketable - if riding your bike and toting a catty in cargo trousers thigh pocket, needs to be lightweight and relatively slimline which the EVOs do really well. If I'm on my bike or just general out in the country I take my Black Knight just because of it's nice light weight - the Field Pro is a bit heavy for this type application. Nice to see the .85 bands doing so well with 11mm steel - good rabbit at the end. Glad you're back with new catty developments - good to see

    The very first slingshot I made was made from a piece of wire-linked chain fence straight, crisscrossed twisted ends over. Back in the day, I used rubber bands, we didnìt have all the new stuff that's used now, I lopèd each one about 4 of them giving me the right length before loping the ends to the slingshot I one of the ends was inserted, loped tied to the lather patch which I had cut out to shape anding with holes at the ends. Ammunition: I used marbles they worked great, lighter, and faster than a steel ball, try them, you may like them.

      Hi Alan, all is well here thank you. The pup hasn’t done a great deal to be honest. He’s a good Squirreling dog, and more than happy to get stuck in, but he categorically will not touch feather, nor retrieve small, dead game. But, he’s a lovely lad to have around. I picked up two ferret kits, back end of last year, so should have him out ferreting later this year. He’s very keen on live quarry.

  • @markhuskey6757
    @markhuskey6757 3 года назад +2

    I think it’s fantastic that cattys are legal for hunting in the U.K.
    By and large here in the States we cannot hunt with them. But in my state (Florida)we can use them to do “pest control”. Pests. Like pigeons, iguanas and other invasive, etc.

    • @xMrjamjam
      @xMrjamjam 2 года назад

      Depends in the size ammo you use, you don't want bands that are too heavy for light ammo otherwise that puts excess wear on the bands not being able to transfer the kinetic energy but at the same time you don't want the bands too light.
      Luckily his website says what sort of ammo to use in the description of the bands so that removes a lot of guess work
