Wonderfully impressionistic oranges! I like how you kept offering advice on how to create marks and keeping our hands clean between picking up our next color of pastel! Learning how to avoid muddling our colors with each other! Finally knowing when to stop to keep the painting fresh! Thank you for sharing your incredible experience with us. You are very welcome Daniel, so glad you enjoyed!
Hi Alain, thank you for another gem of a video. I love how the orange light glows from the pulp.
Breaking out edges for impressionistic style is a great tip.
I have a question. I see that many of your pastels are of short length which allows you to use the side of the pastel and produce smaller details.
I use half pastels but they still feel long to achieve this. Would you break half pastels in two voluntarily?
Thanks!
Fabulous enjoyed the progression
That's wonderful, glad you enjoyed. All the best Cynthia!
Magnifique comme toujours bravos à vous
Merci beaucoup Roger!
Спасибо, Alain, очень,, вкусная,, работа!

Stunning. What brand of pastels do you use and recommend
Hi Robin, I have a video that shows you what pastels I use and recommend. You can find it here: ruclips.net/video/6N0srw9pklE/видео.html
❤
I gots me a hankering for citrus 🧡
That's a good thing!
I am tempted to try this. Not sure I have the right vibrant colours tho……..
Start with what you have and enjoy the process!
As a newbie, when people say pastels, are they referring to to
chalk pastels or oil pastels typically?
typically chalk pastels, which are a water soluble pastel. Oil based are very different in their handling.
