Kendrick Castillo, student killed in STEM school shooting, credited with saving classmates' lives

The student who died in Tuesday's shooting at STEM School Highlands Ranch has been identified and is being credited with helping save the lives of his classmates. Zora Stephenson reports.

This makes me so mad, not just because of the shootings, but also because it took about two weeks to acknowledge the heroic actions of this young American of Mexican heritage. It still seems that Mexicans and Latino Americans are still not allowed to be heroes in their own nation. Mexican-Americans are full of heroes in all American wars. Because their the ones who are disproportionately put on the front lines in war to defend their country, but are the last to be appreciated. @@allgrodriguezrod7064 Please do some basic research before spouting off nonsense. The shooting was on May 7th and within a day the major news outlets were running stories about Kendrick. Not everything has to be about race.
