What a great car the E46 is. SMG is quick but knowing you you'll be happier in a full manual.

This is the famous Gear Position Sensor issue. Your pump is fine
Too late it’s already manual haha - it did have codes for the pump though when we scanned it

Might be a hard question to answer due to the gearbox but is it noticeably faster than the 130i? Can’t imagine there being too much between them. Great video mate
This managed to do 0-100 in 4.8s whereas the 130i was 5.7s
I watched ' Wheeler Dealers ' convert one of these to a manual. It worked well, but it always does on TV.

@@KiwiCarLife I am surprised how reasonable it is to swap over. I am also surprised alot more have not been converted. I remember 10 years ago you could get a manual E46 M3 for $20,000 and I wish I had got one then

@@dgpaliza in theory no because the transmission itself isn’t being changed, just the actuation of it. It’s listed as a 6 speed manual on carjam already
You are going to have other problems with this BMW. It is a money pit! You will see.
