You might need a higher-dose combo bc pill or look into triphasal. I took the latter until my early 30s. I still had painful, 7-day periods back then, but no spotting mid-month. My PCP at the time suggested we just suppress my periods. I didn't know that was a thing. I tried taking a 1/35 pill without the placebo week, but spotted and got my period, like when I first started on 1/35s in the '90s. So, then she put me on a 1/50 (without the placebo week), which will be really hard to get after 40, but that worked for me until 48, and I haven't had a period since. I was advised to drop down to a 1/35 (without the placebo week) at 48 since my provider was retiring, and luckily, it works for me just like a 1/50, but I did start getting a lot of menopausal symptoms around the same time, which might be a fluke. I presume I'm perimenopausal now between my age and myriad of weird symptoms (yet no hot flashes, bleeding, etc., due to my combo pill), and my GYN says I can stay on the 1/35 as HRT, or at least for now. Good luck.

I just discovered your channel. Can HRT make tinnitus worse? I developed this a year ago, and saw an ENT as well as my GP. I had an mri and everything is fine with no answers as to why I have tinnitus. I’m guessing perimenopause since I have been having symptoms for 8 years now. I’m 50. Started HRT last month and my tinnitus got worse within 48 hours. Got off the HRT for a week and it went back to what it was before. Restarted HRT and it’s back to being louder and continuous. Any thoughts?
The estradiol is too high. You need progesterone and a lower dose of estadiol. Always take the two together. They support each other. Get on high quality supplements too and resistance training excercises.
10 years prior to menopause, average age of menopause 51, so could be as young as 35 or even start in someones 50's if they go through menopause on the later side
Just stop all the nonsense about peri or menopause! Don't create these conditions as diseases! We woman should embrace and if you are sick there should be proper explanation and get full check.

Is bloodwork reliable for determining the stage of perimenopause and menopause? I had a partial hysterectomy 3 years ago (retaining ovaries only), so I don't have anything to go on.
So should we consume more Estrogen rich foods or not ? Im confused. Pls guide me. I sweat a lot like as if im drenched in Rain... And moments later shiver in chills like freezing. Whats wrong with me ? Should I be concerned ? Kindly help.
Supplements... your vasomotor is out of whack. Do the research.. Maca powder and Magnesium Glycinate. You take Mag at night. High dose of VitB complex. VitD3 daily with ViK2. Look into bio identicals therapy. Either phyto estrogens or BHRT. You always take progesterone with estrogen. Excercise = walking =pilates=swimming. Weights.. Cut out crappy foods. Anti Inflammatory is the way to go for your body.

Does the age you start your period have anything to do with the age you start perimenopause?
Would love to know this!
Me too! I was 15 when I started my periods...... I’m now 49 and starting peri menopause
@@rosiestewart1355 I started my period at 11. And now I’m 45 and I feel like I’ve started the beginning stages of it a couple years ago but now as soon as I turned 45 I feel like it’s kicked in and my periods are starting to become late.
I would love an answer to this, too! I started real early🤦🏾♀️.
Girls nowadays are screwed then. My mom got her period at 17. 17-19 was the norm for them. My friends and I got ours 13-15. Girls nowadays are 8-11. Can you imagine how young they will be dealing with perimenopause??? Oof!
I feel like my symptoms started later 30yrs and I'm 43 now. Iate 30s I felt like I was going crazy my nerves was so bad. I'm 43 now and I have morw symptoms. And of course doctos then told me I was to young. Now at 43 I haven't got much help. I'm tried birth control pills and low dose progesterone. And it just makes me bleed like longgggg period. My body always rejected birth control. I even tried the Nuvova ring that made me bleed also. When I go back for my annual I'm going to ask about the patch. And bloodwork work up.
Take vitamin D3 & K2 gummies and thank me later🥰 I got mines from Amazon
@@stephaniescott5757 does it help with the mood swings and anxiety?
@@lisamarierosso2713I never had mood swings or anxiety. What I can say though Lisa. I am so happy everyday all day. So, I would say yes only because if someone makes me upset I would usually get so mad and think about it days and weeks how that person did me. Now, I’m like I understand y’all crazy and you will not steal my joy and I go on being the happy person I am. I pray this helps. I do know this the first time the bleeding 🩸 has stopped and the extra soothing after my cycle. I am over the moon excited about this D3 & K2 gummies. I’m on subscription now with it on Amazon.
Good luck.
Thanks so much this what am passing through

Blotchy, spotty, oily skin as an adult?
Hiw long it takes the ichyness .?
I’m on a low HRT and still get night sweats sometimes (wake up with lots of sweat). Would that possibly mean I need a higher dose of HRT?
Most of this sounds familiar but my biggest problem has been bathroom problems I am very loose I don't often have hard BM anymore more,
Sounds like you should get your Thyroid Antibodies checked ✔️
hysterectomy back in the 90s..im still producing estrogen,,is that normal?
You may have 1 or both ovaries still.
I had a total hysterectomy at 42 and I still have both of my ovaries and still produce estrogen

You can try naari kalyan churna by planet Ayurveda for these symptoms.

When do woman go through perimenopause?
As young as 35.
10 years prior to menopause, average age of menopause 51, so could be as young as 35 or even start in someones 50's if they go through menopause on the later side
*6 out of 7* 😢🤚
Right ✅️ no solution
What is perimenopause.
Pre menopause..
@Wavesurfa Thank you. I appreciated you taking the time to reply
@@BerylHayne-zj4vd perimenopause is the transition leading to menopause of about 10 years
I'm only 40 now
Yea it starts at 40. Even late 30s.. it goes on for years before menopause.
It usually starts at 35 ( perimenopause) got this info from Dr Mary Claire Harver
Wow I didn't get peri symptoms till age 45
38 😢
Just stop all the nonsense about peri or menopause! Don't create these conditions as diseases! We woman should embrace and if you are sick there should be proper explanation and get full check.
Weight loss
Is this after menopause during or Before ??😂😂😂
Before
If you are getting “not normal for you headaches” that are worse on waking in the morning, I would see a doctor about this as it can be an indicator for brain cancer. I don’t mean to alarm but that is true.
My husband had that and it was hydrocephalus from a cyst. Not everything is cancer.
Well you did alarm people. Why is everyone so negative about health
