Hello everyone, I understand there will be some concerns about the thumbnail of this video as it reads "NON SATANIC METAL" This sort of titles are meant to grab people's attention, and I was trying to make fun of the mainstream idea of Heavy metal being associated with Satanism with a negative connotation. I will release a second video to talk about Satanic music to make the counter part of this video, I am trying to do a more extensive research about Satan to really understand "his" origins, and I will talk about it from different perspectives; as a mythological creature, as actual being, and as a philosophy. I hope I can pair it up with some actual satanic music so it is a more complete video, not just me suggesting stuff, so make sure to subscribe and check that material in hopefully 2 weeks.
The acoustic songs Epica makes are beautiful. They could easily do whole acoustic albums and go mainstream, but they stay true to the metal gods.

@@metalground212 It depends on your definition of Satanic. The horns hand sign is obviously a Satanic reference, even if it doesn't imply evil in current secular society.

All wonderful examples for listeners who are being brainwashed into thinking metal is just screaming and growling men. Metal musicians usually have to be way more on point and precise than musicians in pop music. Any mistake will be heard. Not to mention that singers don't use autotune and are usually capable of singing no only technically very good, but also are quite versatile. I love metal 🤘🏽
