- With a rare day for weather in Michigan, we took advantage of it and made a few flights on the new Timber X from Horizon Hobby and E-Flite. From the first flight, I was very impressed with the potential of this airplane. It feels like a 3D airplane in some maneuvers and still has the stable floaty feeling in standard flying. I am using Pulse 4S 2250mah batteries and the Spektrum DX-20 for guidance. Thanks to The Lord for His blessings and my parents and all my sponsors.

I'd call this a perfect example of, "It's not the equipment, it's the pilot." Just goes to show it doesn't take a thousand dollar plane to fly like a beast. Awesome video! Thanks, and God Bless!!
yeah true
Of course it doesn't. You can do this stuff with a UMX Beast or Yak 54 in front of the house. The plane doesn't do the stunts, the operator does.
This video got me back into flying after 20 years ! Got the Timber X and now my only problem is which one to get next. My hat off to you Jase ! I log about 20 hours a week or more and hope I'll be half as good as you. Amazing skills Jase ! Huge fan ~
Thanks for your amazing videos. I think the model companies will all be wanting you to demonstrate their planes. Love how you put your faith in God right out there!
Jase can fly that little timber better than 95% of us can fly our giant gas stuff lol.
Wow! Best timber x video by far
perfect flight everything that you fly and magico synchronisms of maneuvers great congratulations. without a doubt the best in the world
Wow so you have me rethinking the wing slats, a lot of opinions online say they hurt inverted performance but that was the best X video I've seen!
Wow. You sir are extremely talented. Came here thinking of seeing a general review and that just blew me away. I fly my planes like a blimp.
Totally blows my mind watching you fly Jase.
Awesome flying and great video. Thank you so much for sharing and God bless...
Jase is like Jimi Hendrix! They just feel what's right, what a awesome pilot!
And he's flying it with slats 😎😎😎😎
I know I can't fly like that Jase but it is awesome to see what can be done with a very cool Bush plane. And. You definitely stress tested it. Nice flight 👍. Now fly it scale. Because I don't think you can. LOL 😎
Great flying, and thank you for giving God the glory!
There is just one word for that kind of flying......... awesome
You absolutely owned that timber. Great flying!
Would love to see Jase in some F3a comps. He has the talent and ability to be the best in the world.
he is the best in the world
Rolling harrier circles in a figure eight pattern rolling both right and left. Very nice. Gives me something to keep striving for with my Timber X now that I see it can be done.
One of the best timber videos to date. Great skills . I wish I was a 10th as good.
Wow! Amazing skills! I came here to see what my new Timber X 1.2M can do, but after seeing what you can do! I'll just stick to my Bush plane flying. 😁😄
I have to wonder if HH sent Jase a plane with the same junk servos mine came with that won’t center within 1/4-1/2”… It’s a good plane and does 3d reasonably well for a bush plane but would be much much better without chasing trims anytime you want simple level flight.
Damn good flying!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Jase, you're the best, champ. I know that plane has some pretty large control surfaces, and I've seen many videos of guys flying it. But nobody flies like you do. Awesome! God bless you and your family.
Jase could fly world class 3D with a box kite ! AMAZING to watch him fly.
You're so good, I'm too scared to even try half of those maneuvers in Real Flight.
Your a great pilot and more importantly a GREAT man ! I am inspired and thankful by your selflessness, always giving thanks to the lord !
All yeah best in 2019 and beyond !
Insane skill! And really beautiful flying too. Note to self - who thinks he could be so much more graceful if he just spent more $ on a plane - this is
Awesome footage Jase! Good camera work Dad!
Amazing DUDE!! God Bless!!
Impressive flying. I've been flying for 20 years and I can't even approach this level.
Duuuuuuuude. You are the best. That was sweet, brother. Thanks for sharing.
Outstanding performance! Kudos!
Great flying. Awesome video!
I don't know whose skills are better, your piloting, or your dad's videoing.
Great work all around!
Bonjour, c’est impressionnant ! Très belles voltiges et très bien filmé. Merci pour le partage et bonne continuation à vous.
I presume SAFE was switched off? lol.... Awesome flying as usual. I just love watching what you do. :)
obviously

Thanks for all the uploads you do Jase!
You da man with the magic thumbs !!!
Hey Jase. Becoming a huge fan of yours. I've only just really started flying after coming from monster rc trucks. I've joined my local flying club , but to be honest some of the guys there are real dinosaurs stuck in the mud. One even told me timber x is a trainer. He's obviously not seen you fly it. Well keep safe and entertaining us all. Cheers friend.
you're gonna make me change my self imposed anti-foam rule! Nice flying!
Hi Jase - I met you Friday night - I was the guy flying left handed. You're so talented it's nuts. Please come back!
You have skills Son. Well done!
That was spectacular!
DX20 💰💸 glad I went to frsky x10s 16ch up to 32ch and the receivers are a blessing on the wallet as well, nice flying
Cheers🍻
Are those transmitters compatible with spectrum?
With a moltipodical module or spectrum specific module it is and in my opinion the options of a module BAY is a must in any TX "remote"
Impressive flying. I am surprised that a high wing trainer like this has the power and agility to perform these maneuvers.
I was waiting for this video after seeing it on your ig :)
Edit: I was not disappointed :)
Your even flying with the slats and it's still that capable! I need one.
Wow. Amazing!
What I would give for a few lessons with you Jase.
Way to fly! Cheers.
a group lesson!
@@stevenstern156 group lessin would be better than nothing. Unfortunately I'm up in central Ontario Canada.
Absolutely fantastic
Awesome flying God Bless 👍
Love how your thankful to God for your Blessings. keep it up and he will continue Blessing you. And love how you can fly great job keep it up sir and God bless.
Holy cow!! Nice flying!!!!
Sweet flying.
Great 3d flying. You should get together with josh bixler from flight test and Alex from - on the fly. It would be amazing watching you 3 guys flying in 3d formation.
All 3 of you used the slats and proved they have no effect on inverted flight as was claimed. Now they came out with the turbo timber 1.5. flight characteristics of the X but size of the timber.
Josh Bixler is a fine pilot, Propably like a 7 in earthling measurement. (Not the best 3D pilot though) Jase is an alien or an AI robot...
@@TomDeWeerdt I saw Bixler in a contest with his left arm taped behind his back and the tx taped to his left leg and using just his right hand fly a plane inverted, knife edged and rolling underneath a 20 ft long tarp stretched just 2 ft above ground without messing up.
That's skill. That's why I would like to see the 3 guys I mentioned flying together.
Awesome! I've flown the timber and thought it would be fun with bigger control surfaces. Two months later they announced this plane lol.
Damn your very good!
I just got a timber x. fun and see what it's capable of doing.
Wow that’s awesome man keep it up!
Nice flying .
А remarkable flight . I have the same plane .He's awesome .
Love the Music but what a awesome great Pilot wow that is one tuff Airplane Too. I found someone who knows how to fly a RC Plane. Hope to see you fly V1200 plane. Thanks
Amazing jase can fly a cardboard box and make it look good 😍😍
Love this!
I’m definitely buying one now
Ayy! I got a crashed one and a night one now you are more than welcome to fly.
It's been a year since I made a post on this video. I watched it two more times and have the itch to get the Timber X!
Go for the night timber x...it is amazing
All the timbers are good but the X are thebest of the bunch and yes, stands to reason the night version by specs has to be the ultimate.
You are truly blessed! Incredible control.
Greg Heckert the motor used is the one that comes with the TimberX. All components are stock. The batteries are Pulse 2250mAh 45c 4s lipos. Thank you for your comment and thanks so much for watching!
@@JaseDussia - You said all components but, is it the PNP model or the BNF one with the AR631 with SAFE? If PNP which reciever did you use? You really got me wanting one of these!
Control 110%
😲😲 awesome!
Would love to see Lord flying this! Can you make it happen Jase (awesome)?
A plane like that should not be able to fly like that. You are one heck of a pilot!
The fun part was the Timber X is designed for this kind of flight, but flys like a STOL plane too.
@@jeromyh8096 Fair enough. I was thinking more of the full scale plane. Never seen anyone try a flat spin in any of the popular bush aircraft !😂
I just ordered a Timber X ...
My concern is a few guys at my local club have had issues with their Timber's main gear, complaining it's a known weak spot.
Since I have not yet received or assembled the plane, I was wondering if you might have a recommendation of how to strengthen this area , during the build and before I take it out to the field.
Also, the field I fly from offers the choice of a very rough asphalt pad with a lot of cracks or an area of longish rough grass.
Also I am a somewhat beginner pilot and would appricate any advise you can offer when I maiden it....
Thanks ....
Curious... How do the leading edge flaps affect the planes performance? What are they made to do?
Wonderfull
Was this with the slats because idk if I wanted to put them on but now I think I do lol
Is this bone stock ? Motor, esc, servos ?
E-flite servos are not very fas and don't center very well in my experience.
I'm curious, did you need to do any mixing to get your TImber to fly true? Mine flies nice, but has a handful of bad habits, especially with knife edge. I need a rudder to aileron/elevator mix to correct the problems. Thanks, and I appreciate your time.
Chris
So much yas!
Jase , Total Novice here., just back from Joe Nall, Triple Tree, SC. Can ANY of this be done with UMX models? .......UMX Pitts S-1S?
Jase: how did you set up your ailerons, rudder and elevator? Is it maximum throws? And did you switch to a more powerful engine?
Pretty soon they arw gona have jase d edition it willl auto pilot all the moves just like ace himself does them yup flip switch and whatch it go wild lol
Dumb question:
30c or 50c lipo?
Do you used the aluminium or the carbon spar at the tail?
Damn!.
Are you using the stock setup or the Flaperons version as talked about in the Manual.
Flaperons. No other way to get the control shown in this video. Also you can see in the video both surfaces moving at the same time.
@@bansheerider619 Thanks my friend going to do the conversion.
I want to order a Turbo Timber wing for my Night Timber X. If I do this, do you think it'll fly just like a Turbo Timber?
This is amazing flying, good stuff! All the jesus stuff and the (what I assume is Christian doom metal) weird music was distracting, but still...inspirational flying!
What kind of expo and dual rates do you run on the Timber?
How long are your flight times?
I get about 5 minutes of flight time on a 2200 4s.
I’m using a 3200 (which is a bit big) and I get about 5 mins of aggressive flying. 8 if you tone it down.
How does Jase Dussia perform that wierd flip roll at 0:36? I have other videos of him doing this and I cannot figure it out.
That's a typical snap roll.
Sold
@Jase Dussia, are flying the stock set-up?
Wondering if you could share your radio setup and mixes?
Want to put a 6s battery on a Turbo Timber 1.5.
how do you have the TX set up for the Timber X?
What is that music?!?!
Can i use a dx5e on this plane?
I'm surprised this video isnt plastered all over horizon hobby website lol
Is there a way i can learn to fly like this without crashing my plane? I've been doing ok with drones and stuff. I have a roc hobby 1100. I think i over stepped myself. Haha
I would highly suggest a flight simulator like Real Flight 8. It'll teach you muscle memory and help learn dealing with wind conditions. I've been flying for years and I can't even do what he is doing. It takes some serious skills.
WHATS THE SONG NAME
My Timber X can't do that 😆
