I have flown some 30ish years and would say I am pretty good, but this is next level for sure. It comes to you faster than you think, not at this level, but you will be pretty decent within a year will just regular practice. The biggest thing is do not get a plane outside of your skill level to early. Doing so will discourage the crap out of you (I did that) because it is more than just flying the "cool looking plane", it is about the money you spend and the skill each level of plane requires. I started off in a Senior Telemaster, now play with the Edge 540, very fast and extremely agile. Get into it and have fun, 99.9% of the people at the fields are very helpful, biggest thing is LISTEN. Peace.
Thanks! I love Wolfgang Van Halen's stuff! Hes putting out some killer stuff that doesnt pretend to be his dad's music. Though he can play any EVH solo note for note!
one thing I noticed about the slick. It does everything fast to keep it flying. Not like a laser do all this stuff slower. Slick must have a high wing load. The slick needs Laser wings. Thinker and wider wings. Look how slow the Edge is flying. Don't see a Slick flying that slow.
I haven't noticed that at all. Both the 85" slick and laser fly the same weight with same motor, same wing area. The slick has a little different cg actually favoring slow flight. They're all built of the same materials. I loved flying my slick fast because it flies XA so well. The slick had awesome tumbles also. Even with the biggest single cylinder engine recommended it still flew super floaty.
Awesome flight brotha. Crazy talent. What servos if you don’t mind? Tell horizon they need to work with carden again and make their own plane!!! Carden extra? Carden yak? Come on!!! Lol
Thanks for the kind words! I'm running A6300s from spektrum! I have all the equipment mentioned in the description! The Hangar 9 carden extra was a fun bird, very old school feel! I just sold a carden yak! I kept having to re-glue my servo mounts back in the wing. definitely an Imac or mild 3d bird. Gorgeous airplanes though!
What!!!!!! You still had a carden yak! The purple and yellow one of my favorite planes I would have bought it!!! If you ever find one new in the box please please please let me know. Keep up the videos if you can brotha

love flying but have no desire to fly at the same time as anyone else all my planes are scratch or kit built and cannot be replaced like a cheap ass china arf so not taking any chances nice job man that is some talent
So sorry, There was a guy behind me with a boombox playing music while we were filming. Every time the video was cut, the guy stopped the music until we started recording again. Ended up being a seamless song. Once I landed he said he was sorry and wont do it again. (satire). Thanks for watching!
@@albychainsaw80 this your estimate? We will have to see how close it is! I really don't even know what to guess! haha I am experiencing some ignition issues, but once I get that taken care of Ill be putting a bowman ring upgrade on it!
@@dbirds21 Dont worry, DLE 65 wasnt tuned that well, and Joe Nall always sounds like a swarm of GP's and DA's so the only thing you're missing is the nonstop sound of 2 stroke gas. It also hides my comments I make out loud like, "OH CRAP..." and "WOAH that was CLOSE" and "@$%^&@"

I agree, up to 76". I'm interested to see how the new tmotor combo will do on the 85" once its released, but as of yet, I hate the feel of big electric airplanes. Not to mention, the sound, the smell, and the memories of gas!
Sweet flying buddy! That 85" Slick is such an awesome bird!
haha hey man! That's kind, but your video on ken's is even better. Now that I know a 76 will fit in the cowl.....
Yeah, I'll take that power. Beauty of a motor.
Really nice job! It was fun watching that flight. Beautiful plane!
Looking good!. Bravo,,,,Druže ti si 100% naš ..
So smooth!
very impressive flying! Today at ccrc was good you are definitely one of the best pilots ive met. 💯👏🙌
Looking good!
This is awesome flying. I do not fly as much as I used to but I could never fly like this. Brilliant. 🛩🛩👌👍👍👍
Fantastic Flying, great video.
I used to fly RC planes in the 1970s - it was nothing like this! Incredible model and piloting.
Wow amazing !
I'm probably a dork but that little move at 1:00-1:02 is cool. It must be cool to have the kind of control you have flying. Awesome flying!

Great pilot ,,, Drop the tunes
Thanks man! However, it's my channel, tunes will stay! Thanks for the suggestion though!
No crash, no happy😂
HAHA Don't worry, I crash much harder than the majority of the rc community when I do!
Just goes to show the knowledge level in this hobby
This must be a GP61 by the size of the model aircraft
DLE 65. And still slightly tailheavy.... dle65 was perfect power for it, just wish I could keep the muffler on it.
1:56 someone tried to make his plane a sea-plane... 😅
That downward spiral @0:51 is nothing. I did that with my Edge 540.......................................once.😪😪
Have you checked the rpm on ground?
I never did, I regret not checking it while I had this plane!
@@tomassimatovic ?

Team Horizon without their own airplane!??.. .
Haha, Yeah, horizon doesn't make any Giant scale 3d planes at the moment, maybe in the future!
Music kept me from watching all of it..
Cool! Thanks for the kind words!
Me too. Just saying. You have to be careful with music.

best part is, you don't have to! haha. I'm not too kind to my scratch builts either tbh. thanks!
Music. Loud. Sux.
Volume knob. Quieter. Better. Hope this helps.
Would be 100% better without the AWFUL music!
