It goes to show why so much money is spent on advertising. I turned 10 in 1978, and I remember most of these ads from childhood.

Lux soap I miss that
1970s was great ads and great t.v. programmes. Now you get all crap programmes nothing look forward.
Always knew John had to grow out of the “Tomorrow People”role, an ad here or there helps to break down the type-casting.
The Libby Orange C advert actress is Jacqueline Clarke ( A Sharp Intake Of Breath)
She also worked with, amongst many others, Dave Allen when he was doing his sketch shows.
Knorr Soup ad is Brian Pettifer ( Get Some In, Rab C Nesbitt and Still Game)
I had a t-shirt with the coffee and flake drink on it captioned some like it hot.
