- Narikala is an ancient fortress overlooking Tbilisi, Georgia and the Mtkvari River. Narikala walls/ruins can be seen from some place in Tbilisi. On the lower court there is the recently restored St Nicholas church. The fortress consists of two walled sections on a steep hill between the sulphur baths and the botanical gardens of Tbilisi. One of the "you must visit place" in Georgia.. Enjoy watching!

No, it was built in 4th century by Persians, and later it was extended by Georgians, stop spreading lies

Then the city was ruled by Tiflis Musulman Emirate (730-1122), after Didgori battle in 1122 years, the Georgians, gipchak Turks and french legions( chevaliers) occupied Tiflis city. Musulman Turks( now Azerbaijani Turks) and chretian Turks(Gipchak Turks), chretian Albans or Akvans and Georgians began to live together. Buy you should know that Tiflis is Azerbaijani city originally not Georgians. You can see the old town of Tiflis is situated Azerbaijani musulman quartier like Ortachala 🇦🇿, the fortress Narınqala 🇦🇿 , Hamambashi, Shah Abbas mosque etc. Around Tiflis are all the Azerbaijani villages and settlements. Now Tiflis is the capital of Georgia Republic, I respect the Georgians, they are my neighbours. Tiflis is ancient Albania city, this is history fact, like Darband fortress in Russia, was built by Albanians. 26 tribes or nations lived in Caucasus Albania. It was chretian state. Where are Albanians now? It was disappeared? No, it was not disappear but assimilated exactly with Azerbaijani people. Everywhere of Azerbaijan Republic have albanian churches and monasteries. Especially in the mountains. We don't forget Albanian huge legacy. This is another conversation. I told you after Albanians, came Arabs and then Seldjuk Turks to the region. Nation understanding is product of capitalism, you know. In the past, all people is ruled by religion. That's Ok. The Fortress Narınqala( Narinkala) in Tiflis is Azerbaijani Turkic toponim. It means in azerbaijani Narın( very little) and Qala or Kala( Fortress) , Little Fortress - Narınqala.
