"Mtkvari in local dialect?" What do you mean "dialect?" It's called the Georgian language. Also, the name Mtkvari is the original name of this river. Since Persians, Turks, Greeks and the French (Europeans) could not pronounce Mtkvari due to the consonant cluster, it was ultimately simplified as Kura. That's the fact, Sir.
Languages can have regional dialects or older forms
actually, kura/cyprus/whatever that isn’t mtkvari was named because of cyrus the great.

@@MargaretNahmias but in this particular case, "Mtkvari" is indeed the name of the river in proper georgian language. "Kura" is a russian name for that river. So GK1967 is correct. That said, the video is still pretty good..

I had a pleasure of working with someone who was from Georgia, and their name was George from Georgia. he was the big boss, "El Jefe" a class act he was, wore suits even in summer in CA. Appreciate getting to know more of their homeland.

Informative and accurate video about Tbilisi and around the cities. Georgia is the most pro-western country in the region and if now Russia and their occupation this country would be one of the most beautiful places in Europe. One more thing that wasn't mentioned properly is food that truly worths to taste at least once in life. Also, Georgia is a visa-free country for almost everyone and you can stay here 360 days do your business and pay the lowest taxes as a foreigner like only 5% or even legally 0%.

I would have visited Georgia had it not been for the start of pandemic in 2020. I had to cancel my hotel accom and other bookings. Wish I could still do. Georgia is beautiful.
