Hi Gabriel, just in case, this yellow building with a mix of other colors is the Opera House, and on its territory is a monument to one of the famous Georgian composers, Zakaria Paliashvili, who was also a Catholic, and near church it' s a monument to the Georgian painter Lado Gudiashvili... Sincerely, Alex
Hi, Gabriel, you're getting into some intense walks again, it's always a fantastic way of getting to know a city by walking around in it. Some cities have such a character that simply leaves you in awe. Cemeteries are a beautiful place to look around their sort of like parks but with an incredible amount of history surrounding them. People tend to shy away from them, but they offer a unique sense of nostalgia and beauty crafted with sorrow and solace.
Same here! Tbilisi and Batumi, now that country and people are all i'm thinking about, miss that beautiful country immensely, I'll visit again in about a year. Love to Georgia 🇬🇪🇬🇪
Greetings to Tbilisi from Sofia, Bulgaria. My uncle used to work in the consulate there and he loved the country. I hope to visit some day. Thanks for the video, Gabriel.
Hi Gabriel, welcome to Tbilisi, my childhood and adulthood as well city. You started this video right on the street I grew up and walked thousands of times. It woke up lot's of memories in me. On @10:50 there is an Opera house of the Georgia. In the garden next to Opera 11:45 is a statue of Zakaria Paliashvili, the greatest Georgian composer and a founder of the theater. Operas of this composer are still playing in this theater. One of his Opera's poster you walked by. Enjoy your stay. When you head to mountains, make sure to visit Svaneti.
Wow what a charming eclectic capital city. Love your new shirts, they look cool and comfy. At least new to me. You have great taste for a guy. Thanks for the lovely tour of yet another place I could not go to, appreciated by us.😊❤
This city have so much character it looks like. Love all the art and different building styles. For a European capital city this city looks not ruined by tourists.
👋Hey there Gabriel, I love this video of Tbilisi, Georgia. Just amazing & truly wonderful, from start to finish. I will surely visit someday, in the very near future, as I've long been truly fascinated by Georgia & this global region. Georgia's filled with very rich & interesting history, wonderful architecture, great culture & friendly & hospitable locals. The food/cuisine is generally very good too. I've also found out, that I'm a wee part Georgian, Armenian, Turkish, etc; so for me, this prospective trip will be much more than just a mere travel adventure. It's where some of my ancestors hail, so truly wonderful & interesting to know this. Thanks for sharing Georgia/Tbilisi with your viewers. Peace✌
Tbilisi has so much to see. I stayed at hotel up on the slopes. A lot of working there during the week I was in town. Went up to the mountains for a day trip with Stepantsminda as the destination. Amazing views. Ib food weather views of mount Kazbek (5054 m). Zhinvali was nice with fort Anuari and the reservoir as a backdrop. Friendship monument had amazing views. Went on a another daytrip to Armenia to visit some of the beautiful churches in the north of the country.
Beautiful architecture ruined by graffiti 🧐✨🕊️ however Tbilisi is somewhere I would love to visit. It has a real cool vibe and very quirky. Stunning sculptures in the churchyard. Georgia is probably one of my favourite countries, in which you've visited, Gabriel ✨🙏💫
In Europe, Poland especially, theatre and coming up acting in plays is cherished! Theatre is where actors cut their teeth in Poland and elsewhere. In America going to see plays, versus say going to see a movie / a flick, is still viewed as being a bit highbrow, whereas in Central Europe going to a play is much more “of the people”.
I'm Georgian, live here, but this video makes me feel like I was blind till this day :D need to look at all this details which was for me like routine and never gave an attention with my hart. Thank you for this, extra professional work, never watched video like this in Georgian Tv-s. Respect! Have a nice life

My late maternal grandfather not only knew Oppenheimer but he also worked closely with Russia and the Russians during the cold war, in the 60s and 70s. The scientists with whom he worked and went to Russia to visit, were post Docs from Yale, where my grandfather taught having become a full professor at age 21.
Gabi, you become profi on video edition, I love the soundtracks that you enclosed into them. Just a little note buy one deadcat wind shield for the microphone, sometimes when you walking and talking in the streets or high mountains capture a lot of noise. Israel, Cyprus, and Georgia are on my bucket of wishes to visit some day. You flow by Georgia airways? Caucasus mountains in Georgia near Russia border has a famous place where people live over 100 years. I dont know if about the honey from the mountains or what another kind of mistery. If you could investigate that there it would be very interesting. A lot of people scape from Russian last year and comes to Georgia. How this war impact the countrie?
No traffic lights in Tbilisi ? It was mentioned in an article that in 2020 that the city was supposed to install 75 smart traffic lights to help cars, I guess not pedestrians :)
great to see further adventures into Tbilisi ,you`re the man!.... i think prices have risen since the flux of Ukrainian and Russians getting away from the conflict at home?....
I had strange feeling during watching the part inside the church and then saw the russian language on the platform, that’s why it’s horror music and darkness around 😂
White peoples are often mistakenly referred to as being Caucasian when in FACT so many of us never even came the Caucasus region of our world no do we have that ancestry and heritage.
Slavics and Huns maybe, germanic peoples maybe but it was so long ago. I think it has to do with that languages have a similarity that crosses that area, it's kind of a median point. Armenian is indo-european language and it's right there.
If indeed is quirky, mix of everything just as whole country; mix of West and East. One thing I'd suggest them to do is to adjust name from Tbilisi to TIBLISI as most of foreigners pronounced it. After all Praha is for international purposes changed into Prague.
I'm Georgian. Dogs and cats in Tbilisi central streets are over-feeded :D sorry for my English. Thats why they are all sleeping or not afraid of the people at all. In Georgia are huge problem of strays starving, but only Tbilisi nearby areas and in regions
It looks really run down and covered in obscene , vile graffiti. Moscow is much better city and nicer people the Russians. Definitely recommend you visit there .

That church is absolutely gorgeous!
I've been to Tbilsi in 2014 not knowing anything about the country. I feel in love with Georgia and want to revisit it! Amazing land and people!
We are waiting for you!❤️

Cool music today
Unique and authentic city with an originality
Yes very much a great mix of old and young too by the looks of it.

Lots of history in Georgia. I was there in 1983 on a business trip. It was a different time.
The dogs seem to be quite chill! Thanks for your work!

I haven't seen all of your videos, but so far this has been the most beautiful, even if I suffered vertigo at the beginning and the end. Thanks!
WOW really nice 2nd video today YEH thanks Gabe
It's always a big bonus when we get a 2nd video in the same day!
Their appreciation for random quirky, but good quality art is far more embedded in their culture than North American lack of it.
One of my favorite cities in all of Europe, and also Asia. Tbilisi is everything.
Im your fan Gab ❤

Great video again Gabrilel ! 😀 Come to Bosnia and visit the old Jewish cementery and synagogue in Sarajevo ! 😀
Great video, enjoyed it a lot, quality content as always. 🙏
No traffic lights in Tbilisi ? It was mentioned in an article that in 2020 that the city was supposed to install 75 smart traffic lights to help cars, I guess not pedestrians :)
I have really loved both videos you've posted in Georgia so far, Gabriel. I hope you plan to spend a bit more time here! :)
HI Gabriel
Loved it 😊
I used to live there❤❤
Beautiful ❤️
great to see further adventures into Tbilisi ,you`re the man!.... i think prices have risen since the flux of Ukrainian and Russians getting away from the conflict at home?....
The war is not the conflict!
In 2008 russia bombed Tbilisi and now bomb Ukraine since 2014!
U could do a video with NFKRZ while ur there 👍👍👍
Yeah right.. that would really go down well! …Roman & Gabe are completely different people 🥴🤪🫨😂

@@effie-Toronto I know you're a great supporter also ... you always comment on every video!! 👍
Hi, what surprise. Noon in Arizona 78 degrees.
Well the Ukraine girls really knock me out
They leave the west behind
And Moscow girls make me sing and shout
That Georgia's always on my my my mind
I noticed very pretty women in both Georgia and Israel. ☺
interesting how the churches are very similar to Armenia, but the food is totally different.
Yes Gabriel I think it’s only America don’t have a character in the city’s and there is a vibe ,Armenia Erevan have more vibes
@@ZappinBoy no Tbilisi is better than Yerevan and Baku!
What about nearby Tajikestan next you havent been there
❤❤❤
Hi

I had strange feeling during watching the part inside the church and then saw the russian language on the platform, that’s why it’s horror music and darkness around 😂

I felt its like Athens in many aspects
Also 17:28, hope your not going to Russia. 🤣
It looks like Tblisi is not densely populated.
Why do you always travel? Are you rich?

No more hidden gems because of Internet
White peoples are often mistakenly referred to as being Caucasian when in FACT so many of us never even came the Caucasus region of our world no do we have that ancestry and heritage.
That's such a great point! I don't identify as "Caucasian", because none of my ancestors came from that part of the world.
Slavics and Huns maybe, germanic peoples maybe but it was so long ago. I think it has to do with that languages have a similarity that crosses that area, it's kind of a median point. Armenian is indo-european language and it's right there.
These are the regions of the borders of Europe, highly cultural, ancient, the first places one can see the European race.
Many Russians are living in Georgia now That did not want to go to war in Ukraine 🇺🇦

Boom, got it again.
You're on the ball! Congrats!
Street art just encourages graffiti. Both ruin beautiful buildings, and give cities a run down appearance. :(
Yes I agree I hate this terrible term "street art"
Felt like a greek and russian hybrid city.
Not the best street art work I’ve seen
Haha I expected more.
Agree, some better stuff in part 2.
I am not talking about Georgia, but generally they are an expression of stupidity and lack of education.
The kitsch is bringing millions of USD reason can't be ignored.
hungry cats dogs < hard to see >
I'm Georgian. Dogs and cats in Tbilisi
central streets are over-feeded :D sorry for my English. Thats why they are all sleeping or not afraid of the people at all. In Georgia are huge problem of strays starving, but only Tbilisi nearby areas and in regions
The name is Gruzia not Georgia.
Too long
It looks really run down and covered in obscene , vile graffiti. Moscow is much better city and nicer people the Russians. Definitely recommend you visit there .
Victory to Ukraine. How are you handling the first invasion of your country since 41. Don’t worry it’s just a “Special Military Operation” Idiot.
Are you Dane? I hear some danish accent.....You look like Dane!!!! I love Denmark!!!
I'm from the United States. I've only been to Copenhagen in Denmark: www.youtube.com/@GabrielTravelerVideos/search?query=Copenhagen
