These are wonderful, Gabe. Can't wait for the next installment. My daughter (now age 22) has been obsessed with Georgia since we met a Georgian couple at a party about ten years ago, and I cooked her a whole Georgian feast for her birthday that year (kinkhali, kachapuri, and lots of dishes made with walnuts, garlic and pomegranates). We haven't made it there (we almost did this summer but the Ukraine issue made us choose Slovenia and Croatia instead) but have long wanted to. Kudos to you for driving there (I've heard that Georgian drivers are more reckless than most). Can't wait to see you in the Caucasus mountains, whether in Svaneti or Tusheti (or both).

And it felt like the tranquility is so palpable that even your inner Zen master goes on vacation, and 'holy silence' feels like it's whispering its secrets to you. Can't wait for my dart lets me travel to places like this one.

Gabriel its possible your car keeps dying on hills because the gas isn't getting to whatever tube it needs to get to. Essentially being "out" of gas when on a steep hill.
A very Interesting Place and Beautiful 😍 Scenary and Nice Driving Tour thank u so much sir Gabe for your wonderful walk around Tour Stay safe Godbless from the Philippines 🇵🇭🙏🙂♥️
Hi Gabriel, it doesn't get any stranger, the monument was just massively impressive like a cross on all sides held up with pillars just unreal. I will say that some places are not for visitors, there are certain people who want things to remain undisclosed, and they refuse attention. I'm guessing you're going to go to Armenia next where you will see what is usually considered the first cathedral built in ancient Armenia and is often regarded as the oldest cathedral in the world Etchmiadzin Cathedral. The locations you stopped in were very impressive, just beautiful.
Mountain towns are always so magical. I remember being in Peru and traveled up to El Misti volcano.. there is a crazy energy up there. Since moving to Lugano Switzerland in 2017 I can't imagine not living in the mountains some where. The Air is always thin with extremely low humidity and cool temperatures.
Brutalist style monument! Amazing.. sometimes when you are on an incline that's steep and if you have under a quarter tank of gas the fuel line might struggle to pull up the gas. As soon as you hit level ground it fixes itself the gas now is able to reach the fuel line pump and boom car starts.
Many of the Russian RUclipsrs are now emigrated to Georgia thanks to the sad events at their home country. Pretty much all of them made a video about the same trip on the very same route as Gabriel to the Russian border. Therefore I am starting to know north Georgia better than my country... At least I recognized many dogs.

Oh wow, I almost forgot the town Mtskheta. I went there one day from Tbilisi by public transport. It was really nice. Then, on another day trip I went to Gori, the birthplace of Stalin.
I have visited Georgia once, been to Kutaisi, Tbilisi, Jovari monastery, Mtskheta and Stepantsminda, this was back in 2019 and I also visited Baku, Azerbaijan as a side trip. Truly hoping to visit Georgia again next year and this time with a side trip to Armenia which I haven't been to yet! One of my favourite countries! Greetings from Sweden and have a nice journey in the region!
@CinemaVenatorITA That is the flag of my town Sölvesborg in southern Sweden. I have been to Lund, Stockholm and Uppsala but not Linköping or Vadstena. A must in medieval Sweden is Visby with all of it's medieval monastery and church ruins, the walled city of Visby is a UNESCO world heritage site. Linköping is an average Swedish mid sized city that I don't think should be very remarkable, but for sure visit the Vadstena Monastery, Vadstena is the home of Saint Bridget. Have fun on your trip and I highly recommend Visby!
Subaru's has tendency to blow head gaskets, maybe dats why it has starting problems. Another thing could be low on gas that the pump isn't soaked in fuel, for the inclines ride it on low or 2nd gear
Gabe, are you planning to visit Armenia and/or Azerbaijan in this trip? Was reading about the tensions between these 2 countries and advisory to tourists to expect lot of questioning by either countries on visiting the other. Suggestion is to visit Azerbaijan first and then Armenia.

Wow Gabriel please be careful! That’s historically a sketchy area. I took a class on global issues in college, and the lectures revolved around the conflicts there in the Caucus mountains ⛰. Be well, be safe. I don’t think your biggest fans would mind another Greek series. You’re better off chillin waterside in Santorini.
The problem is he almost run out of days to spend in the Schengen Area, the rule is max 90 days in a 180 days period. Georgia is outside Schengen. The part of the Caucasus mountains under the control of Georgia are extremely safe, the conflicts and the dangerous areas are in the Russian Caucasus and I very highly doubt he is going there. The Caucasus in Georgia even has popular ski resorts!
We(Georgia, Azerbaijan, Armenia and Southern part of Russia) known as the Caucasus region. Personally I don’t want to our region known as a part of Eastern Europa, Middle East or Asia. Because of their cultures are different. I’m not saying that our culture is better. They are just different
Damn! There were no turns on that road and when I said Armazi the guys at the house seemed to confirm it. But something definitely seemed wrong. I just took a look at the images online and it looks really amazing. Better luck next time.
@@GabrielTravelerVideos According to images online, it does not look much more impressive than the citadel you visited next to that village near Prizren in Kosovo.

Gabriel, one advice from me. Stay as much as possible away from roads in Georgia. These guys have absolutely no respect for driving rules or safety, and they are dying by the dozens every day on the roads. Even if you drive absolutely safe, on every turn expect someone coming in you direction in your lane. One of the most dangerous place on earth for driving. Absolutely crazy!
