Great review. To the point. I’m a 3D artist and engineer (Blender, UE5, 3DS Max, VRay), so the fact that it can chew through a heavy video game is exciting. I ordered the 14900/4090 version as a desktop replacement. Thank you.
Anything with high end components and RGB, the battery really won’t last😭 I use a lot of architecture heavy software such as vray,3dsmax, and blender, let me tell you, I give it a hour max before it dies😭
Good basic overview, but can you show temps next time, because i agree, they are the most important aspect of a gaming laptop, especially because they go hand in hand with longevity
Legion laptops are great. CPU thermals are not. They let the CPU wattage run wild, so if you’re in performance mode, expect the CPU to hang around the mid 90s.
Sadly Alienware does not have great quality control I’ve never had good luck with them but Lenovo has never disappointed me or my customers so I would definitely recommend the 7i!
You should choose legion, Lenovo maintain their product very well, and rarely to broke easily and also they nevel make something difficult for customer

Oww thank youuu
Did you try ue 5.2?
How did it perform?
@@yu-i7476UE 5.2 and 5.3.2 both work great.
i think mentioning battery life would be useful

If u want to use all the specs then u have to put it on the charger 24/7 so batterly life doesnt matter
6 hours full charge
Assume it’s terrible, keep it plugged in.

Lenovo has one of the best gaming temps. So dont even worry about that. Especially this model. Gpu max 70-75. Usually 65. CPU max 83. Usually 75-78.
@@adriatics.3357does the fans get loud? I guess I’m just embarrassed if the fan is so loud my parents are keep telling me about the fan noise
@@greeneyelightskin746 i feel you. Not as loud as the Asus gaming models. Its bearable!

Hi - great review! I am thinking now of getting one - can you please help me understand if internal surface (e.g., palm rest) is plastic or metal?
