YOU ARE SOOO LUCKY! I CANT EVEN PET MY RESCUE GREY SQUIRREL THAT IS MY PET AND LIVES INSIDE! Once she was around a year old she didn't want to be pet anymore.😞 I hand feed her and she lays on my leg and spends time with me but doesn't like to be touched. I still love her to death tho!!❤❤❤🐿️
My resident squirrel does let me pet her but only on her head and a little down her back. If i go near the sides i get attacked. Also i have to he careful giving her nuts as she snatches with her claws sometimes. One time she came to my garden barely able to move and all beat yp and patches of fur missing. She got up on my forearm and lay there for a bit. She recovered well and still going strong to this day.
Wow! It has taken years to get squirrels in my backyard to take a peanut out of my hand and here you are petting one. I don't know if I'll live long enough to pet one without getting bit. Amazing!

Once a squirrel learns to trust you enough to let you touch it, try a belly rub. That white fur is ooh soo soft.❤🐿
