She totally loves that. I'll never understand why so many people in this world see these animals as vermin. They're lovely.

Where I live people call Grey Squirrels ‘vermin’, now sure they DO bully the Red Squirrels (so badly the government has created Red Squirrel Sanctuaries to safeguard their numbers … but the Greys were brought here by humans. It’s even a law here that if you find an injured Grey Squirrel and take it to the vet then the vet *will* euthanise it because it’s classed as vermin. I feel bad for the Reds but they’re just doing what Squirrels do: surviving.

My heart suffers so much since I was little when I realized animals were abused or neglected. I come here to find kindness and love towards pets because they are angels…they only want food and love in return 💗
I had a pet squirrel once, and I can tell you that they are very loving intelligent animals!
When I was a child, I got a book from my granny called Tales of Woodsy Newtown. The characters were all animals of the forest. Seeing this little fellow enjoying his groom brought me right back 55+ years. Thanks for helping me remember! 😪

I had a children's book about a squirrels home in a tree. I think it was called Little Miss Suzy Squirrel, or simply Suzy Squirrel. I've never found that book since. I was so enamored with her broom to sweep and fireflies in a vase for light and then she had visitors I believe. I wanted to pass this book along to my grandchildren. No luck.

Yeah, they are natures gift to us! I have been unemployed for some time. So to avoid going hungry, I have been catching squirrels for me and my cat to eat 😢

New sub from Houston! Momo is so precious. I have had the honor of raising an releasing lots of baby squirrels in my yard over the years. In my old age now I occasionally get a call about one and I am ready an willing to take it on. Pull out my bin with all my supplies, milk recipe, syringes, nipples, heating pad, fleece an notes to remind me what a did last time different. One of my babies showed up couple years ago and I knew right away how unafraid she was of me. She now comes to the sliding glass door to let me know she is ready for sunflower seeds, not too many, apple,avocado and few pecans. Ok I’m off to watch your other videos.

When I was a kid we raised a female squirrel and her name was Mo Mo, we named her after a storybook squirrel, "The meanest squirrel I ever met" M.O., she wasn't really mean, she barked that cute little growl bark, she loved to play and ride around on your shoulder, we had her a little over 10 years and still talk about and miss her still.
I had no idea that squirrels purr, thats awesome and how soothing!
So cute! The moments when he looks at her like “why’d you stop”?, lol. He looked so relaxed that I was waiting for him to fall over and fall asleep

It's where I rescue waterfowl. The kids and their parents hook the ducks on purpose. Harrass the geese and then wonder why they "appear mean"& hiss. My husband, God daughter, and immediate family are amazing. It's these outsiders that ruin nature. I often see humans just say that for example a squirrel "does not matter". My bro ruined his chimney just to get a mother squirrel and her 3 kids out this past summer. He also was doing construction inside a house (other ppl doing the outside of the house). He noticed they put up siding OVER A BIRDS NEST. The babies were screaming, could not breathe and it was scorching hot. The guy doing the siding ignored it my bro brought it to his attention. He actually said "yeah I know they're gonna run out of air and just die they're gonna stop crying eventually". The mother was in a tree next door flipping out. When the guy left my bro ripped all the siding off, moved the nest&mom and kids were OK. Then he put it all back up by himself. It's the ppl around me. I see it to much. Especially with the ducks and geese. I just love when any human is overly nice to the little guys. It is nice to see and without squirrels we'd have way less trees. ❤
